Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! I generally do agree with the quality over quantity sentiment and want to get that core collection at the end of the video down to my 10 watch target. It's going to be tough but that might be my goal for 2025 😅
I feel like the pressure to get a watch box with more that 10 spaces is high. A 20 or 24 slot box is really pretty reasonable. Great video, really enjoyed.
Thanks for your comment! With a small channel like mine it can be hard to tell if there are many regular viewers or just a random group of people who come across each video so it's nice to know there are at least some 🙏👍 And yeah, self-confessed Seiko-holic though as you can see Citizen is slowly creeping in more and more
I'd keep the black Hamilton and the two Grand Seikos, and the Citizen in your core collection with grey dial. You can consolidate a lot and focus on some higher end pieces
To be honest I don't really feel the need to focus on more high end pieces. Maybe a Tudor but that's about it. It's nice having some watches I can wear and not worry so much about
Great vid! You might like the Sinn 556a RS - Red Seconds (probably auf Deutsch: Rot Sekunde). It is my first Sinn. The minimalist look is very calming and easily my most readable watch. Keep up the good work!
Great watches and had the same issue with the Surveyor. Also bought both dial versions and swapped bracelets, however managed to sell the dark green 😂 on the leather. Same issue will happen with the NB1060. I am planning also to get this wonderful Citizen. I have the NB1050 (black dial) in my collection and would exchange the bracelet with the leather and sell the black one. Let‘s see how this will move on.. great watches, love all those simple three hands Seikos. Wished they would bring up more 38mm versions like the SARB.
Love your collection and the video. I highly recommend you pickup a 36mm Ball, for several reasons. 1) 904 steel, feels just as good in hand as a Rolex 2) tritium 3) the dials are amazing. In particular their green dials, and it appears you do have a thing for green 4) brand history 5) its a $2K watch, that looks and feels like an $8K watch. Great channel!
Thanks for watching and the recommendation! I've been looking at the fireman and marvellight for years so may have to finally pull the trigger on one 😅
I love that credor. They are a brand that I've really wanted to get my hands on for years but haven't had the opportunity to do so. I used to live in Japan almost a decade ago and I wish I had been into watches at the time. Your final Grand Seiko is also something that I've almost pulled the trigger on so many times. I just wish that they put out more 38 mm or smaller spring drive watches.
Thanks for watching! Older quartz credors like this one are criminally underrated imo and the prices reflect that as well. I believe Grand Seiko have released a 38mm evolution 9 case but it was not on a bracelet with a hand winding movements and had a pretty high price tag. The Sagw003
@addicted_to_watches I agree about the credors, I've seen a lot of them on eBay for fairly cheap so I might pull the trigger on a rectangular two handed quartz credor if I find one I really like that is in a good enough condition. It's probably more likely that credor will release a watch with this form factor since they tend towards more dressy pieces. I really like the locomotive but that thing is really expensive for what it is. What I'm really waiting for regarding Grand Seiko is a 37 mm or smaller manual spring drive watch. It'll probably take years before they release something like that but I think it would be worth the wait. I have a very small wrist and also carpal tunnel, it makes wearing watches with larger case sizes quite difficult. I've got a tudor black bay ceramic which I really like but I can't wear it longer than 3-4 hours at a time. Anything larger than 40mms with a lug to lug larger than 47 is difficult for me to wear. My two beater watches are a blancpain leman ultra slim dual timer and a Seiko baby alpanist. I've also got a Casio analog/digital hybrid square watch that I wear when I'm doing physical activities, like rock climbing. All of my other watches are 38mm or smaller with the only exception being my zenith captain elite dual timer (It wears like a 38).
Thank you! I was really lucky to be able to get that one. The size isn't quite perfect for me either unfortunately. The 40mm case size sounds good but I don't really like the 22mm lug width and lack of taper on the bracelet. It only goes down to 20mm at the clasp. If it tapered a bit more to 18 or even started at 20 and went to 18 it would feel a lot more comfortable to me. I remember seeing they released a smaller 38.6mm sized evo9 case in titanium but it didn't have a bracelet option and used a hand wound movement, the slgw003
@ unfortunately the thickness of most GS movements is also a problem for me. Pieces seem to sag down my wrist one side or the other and feel uncomfortable. I got around this by purchasing SBGX355, the newly released 9F quartz with the snowflake dial in titanium. Absolutely adore that piece but even the 9F has a thickness of 10.6mm! GS really need to slim down their lines and of course upgrade their bracelets - I don’t hate the titanium 3 link but I wish it had some form of microadjust. Christopher Ward does a good friction-based adjust system on their twelve which would be fine for GS in my opinion.
Nice, that's a great watch too. Depending on what you're interested in, I'd recommend some older grand Seiko quartz models and even credor. Those 2 in my core collection are both very slim and a good size suited to smaller wrists as well
Thanks for sharing your collection with us.
Thanks for watching!
Quantity over quality. It’s not my vision for collecting but I respect it. You certainly have a lot of choice! Enjoyed the video 🎉
Btw I’m generalising - you have some very interesting pieces like that purple cocktail time and the seiko two-tone rectangular piece!

Nice watches. Especially the seikos. ❤❤❤
I hope you have fun them for long years 😇😇😇
Thank you! And thanks for watching
Finally a collection worth watching! 👏👏👏 subbed
Thanks for watching and the sub!
Brilliant collection
Thank you!

Thanks for watching! The 10 slot box is something to try and enforce a little self control 😅
I'm so glad I'm not the only person hoarding watches. Thank you for the video.
One of us! One of us! 🤣
I've always enjoyed your videos. You share your genuine love for Seiko et al. Lovely, well-rounded collection

This is very tasteful collection.
Thank you!
I appreciate more 'attainable' collections!
Thanks for watching!

Very Seiko heavy collection, but I have seen models here that otherwise would never have. Cool!
Thanks for watching! Yep, can't deny I'm a big fan of seiko

Appreciate the recommendation. I do really like the simplicity of it.

I have been contemplating the exact same thing with the 1050 and 1060 🤣 it would be nice if citizen just offered it as an option

Glad to see I’m not alone. Why are we obsessed with watches?! Autism? Addictive tendencies?? 😭🤣
That purple GS is regal.
It's much more blue than purple in person, but still incredibly beautiful
Wonderful collection. Don’t cut back. Resist the public pressure. There is absolutely no need to!
Hahaha I think the pressure is from myself 😅 with so many to choose from I feel like I don't wear each one often enough
Btw I adore your lake suwa GS. If only they made it in 37mm…. sadly it’s too large for my 6.5inch wrist 😢

Might want to slow down on the Seikos….😂
I just can't help myself 😅
