My favorite game on girlsgogames was the “School flirting game” that was completely in Japanese and allowed me to shoot lasers at the boys’ heads 👍
bruh, I LOVED that game so much. Made me realize I'm a bit of a possessive/jealous person in relationships
those games are playable on gamenora!
The music in that game was also so good
And you had to battle other girls for the boys. And if you "zapped them enough" you basically had a trail of ghost-lovers trailing up behind you, with different types of boys.
Holy shit...one type was even in a relationship. If you had enough power, you could rip a bound man from his gf.
I REMEMBERA RUclipsR PLAYING TAHT

FOR REAL
True!
I really hope people remember the game "Love Me" which fully in Japanese and was set in a Japanese middle school. You had to shoot other boys with lazer eyes so that they would love you and you had a time limit to get a top score.
I remember that game.
aHHH that was the first game i thought of when i saw the title😭
I was a freaking _beast_ at that game.
That was my favorite game, i remember like other girls would try to get boys and youd have to have stronger eye lasers or something, idk it was so much fun skkkdkeke
I was obsessed with that game
The 'From Geeky to Popular' game showed at 9:43 actually had a really nice message, she spends most of the story trying to impress this guy who doesn't like her because she's a geek, and it works - but then she realises he's an asshole and very shallow and that she's worth more than that.
I was sooo impressed by that story lol
I remember playing that game over and over
When I played it as a kid I did not understand the story since I dont live in a english speaking country
I loved that game and still do
@@wickedviolet9783 SAME LOL I kinda understood it cuz of the pictures but years later I played it again when I knew English and understood it lol
Yeah fr tho
Our teachers aren't supposed to know what we're doing online! Don't tell them!!
u just gave me an idea when its friday and the computer studies lesson im gonna go on girls go games and see what games are available 😎😎😎
I left high school last academic year and even coolmathsgames was blocked on the computers because there's always that one person who gets caught :(((
Omg love to see u here kat!!!
It's genuinely heartbreaking that so much of our childhoods are on their way to become lost media
And when people want to resurrect them to “modernize” them they barely resemble the originals.
That's true about every previous decade until now, really.
Most games of value have been backed up. And you can either run flash (I highly recommend you not) or wait for the Ruffle project to finish for you to play them
@@naraku971 Like the VIP Pets. All that remained was the personalities.
@@ShadeATV I'm talking like media in general, like sometimes all that remains of things is a name or a personality, and for some reason people working in certain industries like to change something about a character that makes them iconic and then they'll go on and say something like "it's modern," or "diversity", and then attack people who don't like it, it's like people are allowed to not like something...
I believe that the "kissing" games were about secretely kissing someone without other people noticing... There were "love" meters that would go up the longer you kiss. They were very weird and uncomfortably seхual...
I completely forgot about playing these, but then got a huge whiplash after you mentioned the kissing games 💀
I would get so stressed out with those types of games so I wouldn't play them. Anything with a time limit I just couldn't do. I remember trying a few times though lol.
was it like those peeping tom games where you had to look at other peoples tests without people seeing?
sameee, memory unlocked
I'll never forget the day I came back to this website as a 10 year old only to realize that they had completely changed everything. Worse than a breakup I swear

And the songssssssss
@@madokamagika6333 I HAVE SO MANY SONGS FROM THOSE GAMES ALONE
The random pop songs they played actually helped me discover a few artists that wouldn't get radio play where I'm from and I probably wouldve never discovered if it weren't for those games (Melanie Martinez is the first one that comes to mind)
i sweaaar i would play these for hours and hours it was my favorite and the sooooongs

the kissing games... weren’t they like ‘red light, green light’ but instead of running, you had to kiss someone? and then if you filled up the bar, you won, but if you got caught, you lost. was that just a fever dream??

YESSSS DRESS UP GAMES ARE MY FAV
GirlsGoGames, DollDivine, Howrse, Moshi Monsters, NeoPets, Barbie and Transformice especially were always my jam as a kid. They were always super fun. I always liked one of the pet shelter games on GGG. Ngl, totally miss them games.
omggg DollDivine was my shit
DollDivine was the GOAT, just throw in MyScene and you’ve basically described my childhood 😭
DollDivine games were my life. I needed them SO much
dolldivine and agame are my childhood, i remember one game about a dog where there was like 7 endings
DUDE i grew up on howrse. wish my old account was still around
I think is important to mention that before the privacy laws, you used to be able to have an account on the website. There was a whole community of people trying to get on the ranking list or accomplishing and kind of goals in the games. It was so fun to find people that were playing by your side and helping you to get further in the games. Is so nostalgic to remember. Love the video
Yeah! It was really fun. I remember you could "befriend" people. Although for me that meant finding people with a nice-looking avatar, sending a friendship request and never talking to them again. Although that was me in every single social game.
I still remember my username and password! I spent way too much time playing on that site 😂
It’s so interesting to hear that they got rid of the kissing section, because I remember the site was literally overrun by them in the 2010s
I was obsessed with one that you had to kiss the secretary without the boss knowing... ow.. my childhood

I'm HIGH KEY offended by the lack of manicure games representation. No they're not the same as makeup games. No I will not elaborate.
I agree!! Manicure games were the shit, I kinda miss them 😭
I used to play games where you make nail art all the time! It's still on my old iPad from 2013
that one hyperrealistic manicure game with purple background + the stylin stuff one were the kings

@@Ravengirl0814 OMG I REMEMBER ONE LIKE THAT TOO, i played it rlly often and it was one of my favourites but at some point it disappeared and i never found it again, that made me really sad as a kid
Doll Divine and Azalea have been uploading all their old games so that they run without flash! They have the Rinmaru games, too! Those websites were such a major part of my childhood, so I'm so glad to see them preserved
Is that true?
I would play girls go games for HOURS every day when I was 6-9 years old!! It holds so much nostalgia for me and I’m honestly sad that none of the games work anymore because even tho they’re toxic as fuck I still miss them sometimes lol! I felt so rebellious if I ever played the kissing games and I must’ve played the Disney High School Love Story game a thousand timesssss, she was the moment lmfao
Being an Iranian girl, this site was the only place I could “express” myself through fashion. I loved goth music and really wanted to be able to dress just like American kids in the goth scene, which I couldn’t for obvious reasons. Girls go games will always have a dear place in my inner 12-year-old’s heart.
Sunni girls have been goth for 1500 years...
I never thought of it like that. I'm glad that, even if just for a moment, you got to express yourself through this site :)

I loved playing those untranslated korean games, the language barrier added another level of difficulty
literally!! sue avata star was my favorite
Especially the dress up ones with a dating briefing that was unreadable to me in Korean, and then ending up in non proper outfits for the date
Ahh yes did you ever play the game where your boyfriend will rate your fashion and take you on a date depending on what you wore
Remember the tomato farm and the ramen restaurant one? The character was a girl with red hair and two buns. Ahh the memories 😭
LMAO
does anyone remember sue? we played tons of sue games w my sister, we didnt know any korean so we just guessed. at the end results she always was upset and blasted us, and we were so PISSED. we did our best to yassify her, and yeah maybe she had to wear a tracksuit to a fancy date, we did not understand the assignment but she looked BUSSIN and the NERVE she had to cry. at the end we learned that no matter how hard you try sue will never love you and you will always fail. good memories

The art style of the Devilish series was AMAZING. Definitely my favorites of the bunch.
I feel like what’s the saddest about this is that it’s such a unique experience growing up in the olden days of shitty flash games. It’s something that will probably never be recreated ever again (not really a bad thing though cause we’re all fucked). It’s just a rare experience that you will never understand unless you spent hours on your nasty old computer that could only run shitty flash games cause if you did anything more it would explode
papas pizzeria theme plays
The ending made me burst out laughing
What's especially sad is that I was one of the few kids who actually played these flash games at my age, I still have the save files from my Steven Universe and Warrior cats paper doll OCs, so old that I made a pink diamond character because canonically she didn't exist yet. Nobody my age remembers games like Animal jam and the water park games because they were too busy playing Roblox and Minecraft. I kinda wish I was born earlier because I can't relate to many people's childhoods, which makes me feel lonely when thinking about how fun these games used to be.

It was actually a lot of fun because I didn't want to get caught by the boss who comes by like every 20 seconds. There was a whole series on "slacking" games bruh like this girl would slack on everything like her first date and the zoo HAHA

Shopaholic was my favorite game at one point! I actually was trying to search for that game about a year or two ago but I had no luck with the massive amount of similar games. I actually found the name when I was looking through a "Friend Yearbook" I had gotten at a scholastic book fair that I had filled out with my handful of friends. I put it as my favorite game! Innocent times.
OH MY GOD I LOVED SHOPAHOLIC.
I TJINKT THERE WAS A HOLLYWOOD VERSION I OLAYED A THE TKME OMG T WAS SO FUN
shopaholic!!! also my favorite game back then
Shopaholic was the best. I remember that I played it everyday because it gave you money? Or something to expand your closet. I was a little chubby girl who suffered bullying at school, so I created a whole story in my mind while I was playing this game. In the story I was like those cute avatar girls and hang out with my friends. It's sad but it brings me very beautiful memorias.
Omg shopaholic games are the best. I could only dream about these games being available again. Hollywood was my personal favorite.
I remember playing GGG do much I had an account and made so many friends on there. Once the "Elsa" and princess games started coming out, I stopped playing cause they really took over the website.
Shopaholic, School Flirting Game, Dress Up Rush, and so many others that i can't remember the names of, but i knew i loved. Early 2000's GGG will be missed😔
i started playing GGG back in 2010, so i actually remember when the site wasn't filled with those knockoff disney princesses. i miss it tbh

The Sue game where you had to like dress her up nicely for a date under a time limit, the potion one.. Or the before and after games. The boy collecting games, what where they called again? Something with love, I think
The boy collection games where all the girls had laser beam eyes?
I think the hiding games you're talking abt are the slacking game series, there were so many some websites would put them in their own category
I USED TO LOVE THE SLACKER GAMES 😭
The Avie's games have my whole heart, you could dress up and do the makeup of Avie, and to unlock all the things you had to play puzzle games of memory, pairs and match 3, you could unlock text bubbles and stuff to Avie to hold so you can take a pretty picture with her friends

id love to replay them again, but unfortunately they relayed on flash of course. some of my favorites in the series was a beach party one and a christmas room thing.
The Sue games had me in a chokehold. The instructions being entirely in Korean didn't stop me from playing them. In fact, I'm gonna go look for that pink haired girl right now :)

Finally, been waiting years for someone to tie these games to Elsagate.
I'd never heard of this site, but Elsagate was the first fucking thing that sprang to mind when I saw some of these thumbnails.
Factory farmed content, design dictated by a soulless shock value algorithm, clumsily screwed together by mindless sweat factory drones who have only the vaguest understanding of actual human beings.

@@beu7990 office lover kiss 😭😭😭 that game was so fun
i vividly remember the kissing games. i would be like playing a dressup game and see it in the reccomended- out of curiosity i clicked it for the first time, and BRO. it was literally a single click game, where you would have to hold a click until it warned you someone was about to look- whether it was ONE OF THE CHARACTERS PARTNERS, or in the case of a game about kissing at their job, their boss. it was such a weird genre that had so many different games, and genuinely baffled me.
Snail Bob, Penguin Diner, papa taco/pizza/burgers, Escape the room games, dog wash games, hot dog bush, and more. Playing the games in GirlsGoGame was a huge part of my childhood. My mom and me would sometimes spend time together playing a few of the games so I have a lot of happy memories tied to the website. I spent hours upon hours on this game website, but sometime around my my earlier pre teen age I slowly grew apart from going on the website, but when I watched a video about someone going on the website in 2018 or I was completely appalled by what the website became. Though I will always remember the site for what it once was before all this gross Elsa foot doctor s###.
God as an 8-year-old who hadn’t yet discovered The Sims and didn’t feel like grinding in Webkinz for enough money to buy the cool furniture, the room design games on GGG were everything to me.

"Why did a flash game site targeted at tween girls start petering off in the 2010's?"
The 3DS, which was the next (and last) in the DS line, which was the most popular line of video game consoles among young girls, came out and so did Animal Crossing New Leaf, which was (at the time) the newest installment in a franchise that was also massively popular among young girls. It was also when we would get the pokemon games with the fairy-typing, themes of fashion, and introduction of a nintendogs-like gameplay mechanic. I think what happened was that the mainstream video gaming market just ended up striking a chord with young girls at that moment in time.
(not talking about tween girls specifically but) the DS and 3DS were extremely popular in their own right but flash game sites had the advantage of having wide catalogs of free games. I would argue it was mobile games that dug the graves of free game sites as more and more families were getting iPads, for instance
That's a really interesting point! For me I got the crazy new and futuristic iPod touch, lmao. My game choices turned to temple run and random dress up or otome-esque games I could find for free.
there were also games like style savvy and the insider fashion games that replicated the makeover theme! Even as a "tomboy-ish" (read unaware queer) kid who played more traditional games GGG and style savvy had me hooked for sure
@@Narwhal39 I agree on this. I would use the family IPAD or my mom's phone at the time to play mobile app versions of those makeover games. Even now if you scroll through the app/play store in the kids section there's a lot!
Mobile games also began to take precedence, and we have many of the same format of games being promoted today on that platform even TODAY, which is absurd to me but what can you do... free games will be free games.
I tried playing the shopaholic games again a few months ago I believe and they were just as confusing as I remember lol. ALSO does anyone remember that one fashion show game? Idk why but I always thought it was so satisfying to watch the ingredients mix in those games
JOTARO!!!!!
Same, I must have spent hours on Sara’s cooking class..
The one where you had to kiss during work while your boss wasn't looking and another game where you'd "collect" boys by shooting lasers from your eyes were my favourites
I think the first game's name was "kissing during work," and the laser-eye game was one of the "flirting on" games.
Omg I remember the laser one 😂
OMG YES the Flirting games! I remember the beach version and the school one. Damn near broke my keyboard trying to win the staring battles by spamming the spacebar xD
THE FUCKIN FLIRTING GAME, bro is that still around? lowkey wanna see if I could do any better now... EDIT: O i finished the video. rip flash player
Ah yes the eye laser games, I loved those
you gave me so much war flashbacks with the 7 dates game oml, used to be obsessed with that
i remember the tokimeki school flirting game, the one in the beach and the one with the kabuki mask as well, you just had to stare at boys and make them fall in love with you; the more boys drooling and following you, the more points in the end - definitely shaped me into what i am today, i'll forever be grateful for it
I remember finding Girlsgogames on accident, and just falling in love. The devilish hairstylist, school flirting game, the pet shelter simulator, I could go on for hours about all the games I used to play on there. I would spend every afternoon after school on the website. It makes me oddly nostalgic thinking of it.
The school flirting game I was obsessed with
YES THE DEVILISH HAIRSTYLIST 😭🥺
I loved all their devilish games.
The devilish characters were my gay awakening 😨

me playing "swimmer's armpit": yeah I'm a gamer
Omg hi, didn't expect to see an artist I love here 😳
Pony wood was my game! I used to sit at my grandmother's computer and play it for hours on end. Day in and day out. Ironically the first game I ever played that required me to que in and play with another random person. Something that I'm entirely to anxious to do now. 😅 Really wish I could play it again. It has a special place in my heart.
girlsgogames used to have a user playlist feature that i loved a lot as a kid !! obviously it was chock full of songs like lip gloss by lil mama and bring me to life by evanescence but it was fun to scroll through users playlists and listen while i played anime doll dress ups and a highschool love collector game LOL
I used to love the game where you were a girl (it had multiple versions, the school version, the beach version and festival version but it was always the same girl) and had laser eyes that you shot at boys to make them fall in love with you, it was my favourite game on the site and I remember playing all of these games for ages 😄😄😄
YEESSSS THE FLIRTING GAMES OR WHATEVER WERE MY FAVES TOO😭
oh my god that one was so much fun! i've had the little soundtrack for that game stuck to my head for literal years!!! i'm so happy someone remembers that one!!
I played that game religiously 😩🙏 Still remember furiously trying to run against the clock to get as many boys as I can and battling against the rivals, always winning and blasting them off. The music has also been stuck in my mind for years. Such good times
I loved that game but what a weird premise to be pushing to children
Getting cursed by the ghost girl because you took away her ghost bf in the festival version was hilarious
"But I can't go back to those days and... it sucks."
*sniffle*
I'm almost 30 and this, whoof, hit me.
i’m under 14, and it probably sounds stupid since i can still make childhood memories, but it hit me too. i remember when i was way younger, before school and responsibilities, i would play girlsgogames on the family laptop. i didn’t have a care in the world. it was bliss
i miss my childhood so much im deeply unsatisfied with my life and who i become
@@haniicross I am 15 and I still feel nostalgic so it's not really stupid. Like even stuff from a month ago can feel nostalgic if there has been a big change.
I'm 20, soon to be 21 and i feel this way already. lmao. it started hitting once i turned 19
I'm 18 and it hit me
Can we all just take a moment to appriciate Izzy’s makeup?? Like as someone who’s not good at it I can’t imagine how hard it is too look so good for every video!! Love your channel ❤️
Its experiences of websites like these that were so very 2000s that really helps me feel seen in the sea of talking about the nostalgic childhoods of 90s teens.
Oh my god, the three games where you decorated the main girls’ rooms were my entire childhood..
YESSSS I LOVED THAT, I would always have the bed that hangs from chains on wall lmao. That, Uphill Rush and there was a Spyro game on there that I loved to death.
That just regained some memories I forgot that existed.
YES SAME
What was the name
IM SO FUCKING HAPPY SOMEONE MENTIONED THIS, it was my absolute favourite room makeover game on the site
I love how you inspire a feeling of nostalgia in me, and at some moments in life, it's a good feeling remembering the fun of just being inocent and have fun with the most random things. Adult life is tough, I wish I could be a kid again and just play those games, with no anxiety.
I would give anything to go back to being a child but skip the teen years all together
I remember playing the animal and cooking games on there. When I was a kid I thought the romance, makeover, and teeth/ pregnancy games were stupid but I've always had a soft spot for animals. The first online game I played in my home was on GirlGoGames and it was a petstore game. I ended up liking coolmathgames and newground games more (anyone remember William and Sly?), but it's still nostalgic.
This site was so nostalgic
Pretty much yeah
I love your pfp!
I remember playing frizzle frazzle 2 on there when I was younger
@@Wut_191 thx!
Ikr!
I was *addicted* to the weird “princess pregnancy” games, to the point that my mom had to block the site on our family computer… those were the days.
My Daughter used to play some pretty weird dress up games on that site and one had a pregnant lady I thought it was strange but never stopped her from any media she wanted to interact with I thought if I kept her away or showed aversion she would want to do it more so I just always pretended things like that where no big deal. She was obsessed with chuckie because I said it was anoying and didn’t like it she was oppositional like that when she was little she still is sometimes at 15
I remember I accidentally clicked a rlly inappropriate miraculous ladybug game, and my mom had just arrived home from job- when she went to check what I was playing she saw it and I got grounded lmao-
@@lee-pb4ec it was probably one of the graphic and oversexualized ones thats on the site
BAHAHAH I had a similar experience,,,also I love the engarde pfp
Omg I honestly didnt think those had an audience but I guess they did since they kept making them LOL
This website was definitely a big part of my childhood! I remember taking silly daily quizzes after school and playing cooking and dress up games. I still remember those really weird games too. The loss of Flash Player is a little sad and I miss a lot of games.
I just went back to the site and found that My Dolphin Show still works which I was happy to see! It was one of my favourite games on the site.
When I began growing up and began experiencing a lot of nostalgia from ggg I was really interested in going back and checking out some of my favorite games but at the time flash has been disabled and that broke my heart. I wish I could go back to when I was like 6-7 so I can play all my favorite “house decorating” and “dressing up” games again
Even the thumbnail brings back so many memories. I used to adore Girls Go Games. I'd play the Kindergarten game, the Avie games, and all the fun makeover games for hours! I remember there was an animal shelter game at one point with all sorts of cute dogs and hamsters and cats, and I spent so long playing it because I couldn't stand the sad looks on the animals faces when they weren't fed enough. GGG went downhill so fast, and it's sad that it did because for a while it was a genuinely cool site.
I remember playing that animal shelter game so much! I used to name them all individually and always hated how that one lady held the cat when she adopted it. SUPORT ITS LEGSSS ITS FALLING OUT YOUR ARMS YOU SILLY HAG -12 year old me's brain (silly hag added for dramatic affect)
@Fax what’s with the sound link?
Oh my gosh the Avie games were my childhood I loved getting new things from the mini games. Do they still work after flash shut down?
THE KINDERGARTEN GAMW WAS MY FAVORITE OMG😭
OMG THE ANIMAL SHELTER GAME WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES
Now that we are all here, does anyone remember that one game where you played as a cute anime girl that had laser eyes that would make boys fall in love with them? And the “bosses” were just other girls with laser eyes and you had to click like your life depended on it to defeat them?
I LOVED THAT GAME BRO HAHAH THE WORST PART WAS THAT I HAD TO GUESS HOW TO GET OUT OF THE MENU BECAUSE IT WAS ALL IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE
YES!! I was just thinking about this game! Why did it go so hard and why was it so much fun??
It's called Love Me! I just looked it up! You can play it on mobile!
@@WinningSidekick i'm not seeing it on ios..? who's the developer
@@ratboygirl i think they mean you can play it on the mobile version of the website, not that it’s an app
My dad actually worked on this website but quit around 2014. There was a lot of mess going on inside the company, (Still is the last i asked him) mainly with hiring and outsourcing. Very sad that GGG ended like that. I actually made a suggestion for one of the games (shopaholic) to implement a shopping list. They did, and some developers gifted me a sunglasses and a cap with the text "shopaholic' on it. The glasses broke pretty soon but i think i still have the cap somewhere lol. Truly wild times.
that's so cool! does your dad know anything about a chatroom that they had? It was very sketchy and cant find any info on it now :(
I LOVED the shopaholic and quiz type games lol
im so sorry i dont remember a chatroom. do you mean the comments people left under games?@@smile2126pink
My older cousin played games on Y8, so I played some of the games mentioned in this video there. I was obsessed with My New Room 2.
I’m trans and I used to spend hours and hours on here trying to “practice being a girl” lmao. I understood I didn’t fit that mold naturally so I fastened GirlsGoGames into my own peptobismol adjacent conversion therapy. So wild to see how many people also played it since it felt so niche to me at the time.
Transfem?
@@forgor4410 transmasc. Everyone saw me as a girl but I just… didn’t fit that so I tried to study and get better at it lol
@@gray2578 transfem here, my gaming experience was more "completing Megaman Zero 2 on a laptop keyboard with an emulator" when I was around the age this site would have been targeting, so I just kinda never got into browser games like these. I never tried to use Megaman to "practice being male" though, they're just good games.
Transmasc here! I "practiced being a girl" on GirlsGoGames too.. You sure unlocked a memory in me 😅
@@gray2578 It sometimes feels so weird reading how trans people try to fit in both ways. I'm cis, but with a lot of "non-stereotypical" hobbies and preferences, so I just went around declaring that I am a girl and I like cars most (favourite toy was little red Ferrari Testarossa my cousin gave me). Also might have sliced apart a few dolls at one point since otherwise people didn't GET that I didn't like dolls, period.
Let's just all be what we feel we are and not put people in boxes for their hobbies. Take care!
Anybody else obsessed with that game where you’d mess up the girls haircut and avoid getting caught
You were like a demon scene girl and the other girl was an angel and I think that’s where my interest in dark goth scene emo fashion started
DEVILISH HAIRDRESSER YES THATS IT

Girlsgogames was my childhood. I remember playing so many games and I didn’t understand what they said because they were written in another language but I still loved them
12:55 the top left is a really good game :)
This is like a “women in history” documentary but for G A M E R S
I remember playing Papa's Pizzeria, this one beach dress up game, this one creepy bartender game and shopaholic 24/7... I can't believe it's impossible to go back.
The papa games are my favorite....just wish they were free on AppStore
"Bartender: The Right Mix"? I was obsessed with that game- accidentally blew the bartender up several times-
My fav games were slacking games. I raged childishly when I got caught lol. Good times 😩
the girl stealing boys with her eyes game-
I think the bartender game was called "The Perfect Mix" lmao but yeah 10 yr old me was so proud when i got the right mix
I used to play My dolphin show, and oh My goodness..
You just brought joy back to My Soul. For so long I thought the dolphin game was just a dumb fantasy / dream I had because as a kid, dolphins were My favorite animals. And turns out it wasn't just an un-usual super vivid dream I had as a little girl, I am so happy.
17:54 this was my favorite
Everytime I've heard "Girlsgogames" waves of nostalgia just fills my heart.

Same same, ages and all 😂 honestly though these sites were such wholesome places to be even if you were a preteen
The comment section was my first time being exposed to chain mail, it was a comment about a girl who died horribly and will visit me at 3am and kill me in the same way, i went to my mom with my pink dell inspiron laptop and asked her if it was real, she assured me it wasn't but i genuinely didn't sleep that day
thank you sm for making this video! i feel the same way about seeing games i used to play being completely gone. i used to love girl go games, star sue net and friv and definitely cherish the memories they brought me. this year i’m a senior and it really just hit me that i’m a whole different person. anyway, love your content!
The decorating room games will never not be iconic. Pixelated and so many options to do…. I’m crying at the memories 😭
Especially the ones that were in Chinese/Japanese/Korean, those ones took the cake
THERE WERE BARELY ANY ON GGG DESPITE THEM BEING MY FAVORITE

Yessss and you had a bunch of guys just floating behind you with heart eyes. That was the best!!!!

Instead of GirlsGoGames, I was OBSESSED with Doll Divine, making my anime Mary Sue OCs in every possible dress up/character creator game possible. Spending hours making my characters in all styles and saving them to my computer with snip tool (if they didn't have a built-in save feature).

A bit sad Izzy didn't talk about the social aspect of GGG, like aside from the games, users would have a profile and be able to talk to each other. It's how I met some very close friends of mine, that I'm still friends with today (About 10 years and going!), aside from playing games we'd talk on one of my friend's profiles, she'd use one of the art games to draw and post artwork to the gallery on her profile, and it was a bit sad at times because people we'd talk to regularly would log off and we'd never hear from them again
It's how I found out Nelson Mandela died. Very random that's the only comment section I remember
