It's amazing that Hans Rudel not only survived flying this Plane, but became the most decorated German soldier of ww2 in the Stuka. Some amazing facts :
Times shot down: 30 (!)
Times seriously injured : 5
Ace victories : 9 ... (Including 2 Sturmoviks in dog fights 1 on 1)
German pilots rescued by landing on battlefield : 7
Unit : StG 3 ( StG 2 early)
Plane designation : T6-AD.
Periscope has a video of him escaping Russian lines and flying his plane to an American airfield on the last day of the war....unannounced a private rushed his plane with a pistol and he refused to open the canopy until a senior officer was to receive him

Dude I was gifted a 1970s matchbox of a stukka (sp?). Its the highlight of my unnecessarily large small scale air wing Hahahah even has the luftwaffe cross decal which I bet wouldnt be a thing today, sadly, regardless of historical accuracy. Great vid tho man. Thanks for the sub as well! Im here for your journey!
