Incredible work again Rafanatic22! As a Novak fan I have to say that this video summarises the dominance over their contemporaries that Rafa and Novak have had better than any set of statistics could. Incredible legends, and I hope they can play out at least one more classic match in 2024 🙏
Nadal beat them 8 times since being 30, Nole beat them 12 times in the slam titles, and will probably keep doing it for three more years. Legends stuff.
@@GaiusdanhnhanAugustus lool🤣Alcaraz will be next nb. 1. For big 3 he have to have 2 players who are close to his level which right now I'm not seeing that happening. Right now him and Djokovic are definitely big 2.
Cool as always. Regarding the topic, there is a looong list players, separated into mini-generations, who didn't make it, and a dream would be a comprehensive overview/video of all of that history separated in chapters for each generation, within that each player as he rises up, with his early success, an iconic early meeting with one of the Big 3, a disappointed interview soundbyte and a final overview of his ultimate success - a good career but not great. Thanks a lot for all the videos you made!
@@rafanatic22 I got no video skills. Or do you mean I should research the timeline and the players and collect clips around youtube? And you do the rest? 😀
this is dope, I was so pumped up during the video even as a Roger fan. That's say a lot about the quality of the video, keeps it up man! Always great to receive a notification about a new video of yours.
Amazing stuff, as per usual. These 2 gods of tennis have really spoiled us (And Roger). Don't worry tho, tennis will be in good hands (Carlitos in mind).
Cant believe that a fan of a tennis player i dislike the most as a person, is actually one of my favorite tennis related channels, and for sure the best tribute channel. Life is strange that way sometimes 😂 Amazing work as always Rafanatic, and hopefully we get one last battle between these two monsters of tennis to finally settle the biggest rivalry in probably all of sports 😎🤙
Haha thanks. Believe it or not: That Djokovic fans like my videos as well is actually the biggest compliment to me, because they only evaluate the content, production and style and not necessarily the topic of my video. While we certainly will never agree on our favorite player, we can agree on that: You must not like your rival in order to appreciate how great they are. And saying Djokovic is not great, would make me a blind hater. Thanks for watching and your nice words. And yes - a last battle is what tennis deserves ✌
Medvedev is not really a "lost gen". he's the first player to clinch the no.1 spot from the big 3 and murray in 18 years. he proved his presence among the Giants. Zverev, Thiem and Tsitsipas (who are the best of this gen) are indeed a lost gen. they couldn't win a tough slam to this day (Thiem's slam was in big 3's absence) or become a world no.1 No matter how good they do they always end up in someone else's shadow
You are right, Medvedev can be seen as an exception, as he beat Djokovic in 2021. However, he stillt lost four more Slam Finals against the Big Two, so if he truly was "The next Big Thing" he would have beaten them more often on the big stage.
I was always saying that players like Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Berettini, Kyrgios and even Thiem are just transitional gen! The ones, that will be racking up slams are Alcaraz, Sinner, Rune and alikes, aka the generation AFTER them! I am not sure where Ruud fits in all of this though...he seems stuck between two...lol
Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Zverev and Thiem are just modern day Roddick, Hewitt, Safin and Nalbandian, aka people who are here just to fill the gaps before next potential ATG arrives and takes over (Aka Alcaraz and his gen...)
medvedev and thiem are miles ahead of roddick and hewitt , the only problem they have is one can't play as good on grass or clay only on hardcourts , so he is better only at the us while australia is his second best because it is a bit slow he doesn't perform as good as in the fast courts of the us open , while thiem he had a terrible injury otherwise he would've been a more than one slam champion
we shoudnt be too hard on medvedev tsitsipas ruud zverev thiem and berettini because nadal and djokovic beat in there career 3 generations who have the best players in last years like tsonga berdych ferrer and others and we know it is almost impossible to beat them in slams
It is possible though that one or two of them (Medvedev and Zverev most likely!) will snatch a grand slam or two collectively between the two of them, but that's just about it...
Huge respect for you man for showing both great men. They are irreplaceable
Thank you 😊

This is absolutely amazing! Thanks for making this video :) Hope Rafa can come back and compete at a relatively high level in 2024
The two greatest players of all time ❤
Will be hard to image quality Tennis when the other two of the Big 3 retire
Alcaraz is great but it won't be the same after the last two retire...
