currently thinking about how in her book she talked about how much vocal training it took to be able to hit the high notes in the chorus when singing brave live, but seeing her face here at 0:53 and 1:57, it looks totally effortless. knowing how much she struggled with overcoming that and seeing her succeed so flawlessly here gives me a lot of hope for a lot of things, & i'm so proud of how far she's come

I love this quote she has about Brave: "I tried to lower the song but it just didn't have the same emotional resonance, it's like if you're going to ask people to be at their breaking point it's important for you to be at yours".

I've enjoyed the rare times that I've heard someone sing this at a bar. I'm sure people are belting this one out in their car. I love this song because it reopened my eyes to her music. It was all over the radio. I remember thinking, Sara Bareilles? That sounds familiar. Oh yeah "Love Song." I decided that 2 hit songs was plenty reason to investigate further. I don't regret that decision. I can't sing "Brave". But I'll be brave enough to keep my mind open to new music. And never use the phrase, one hit wonder again

I think every young musician should listen to her solo, "Brave enough" concert. Not many musicians can get a full sound with just a vocal and one instrument. She doesn't need much. In my opinion...She doesn't need album producers either.
