Really happy for the added info. A few books in I was wondering how strong he really was. From the scene we just knew he was more powerful than jades, in my head he was some level of lord. I did not think he had ascended, that was a surprise.
In hindsight is was pretty obvious. The swords sage had no problem entering the Sacred Valley. So for him to requier a crack in space and all these rituals clearly meant that he was more powerful than a sage

@Joseph Salamanca I started relistening a month before and have finished book nine and will wait until 12 releases before I marathon 10,11, and 12.

I found these somewhat late, in the middle of my probably fifth reread of the series. Dreadgod and Waybound not quite so many, but I had to take a break so I didn't wear them out too quickly. My son acquired the signed Kickstarter set of the first three books. It was a cherished gift. It's very refreshing to hear these bonus chapters that add to the story.

Will wight you have done it again I am counting down the days to Waybound and I am currently listening to the caption I really love your books and can’t wait for more
PS if you are ever thinking about doing more in the cradle universe but not necessarily a sequel to the books I have had an Idea where the story is what happens to sword sage and Yaren I probably spelled her name wrong anyway their story before the books
I’ve had some theories about that and that’s why I loved the opening of the winter steel because it had more of a introduction to that I may or may not be writing this as a fan fiction

I'm so anxious for the last book, I want it to end good so badly and I'm super scared it's going to pull an Eragon on me (amazing series right until the end which imo flopped so hard)

Oh jesus do i not like audiobooks. This was a great narrator with great narrating but man do i not comprehend a word when they enter per vibration organs.
I was totally in your boat, but it gets better with practice. The best part about audiobooks is that you can listen while doing other things, which is impossible with reading. Now, audio is all I do... Finding time to read is impossible.
