Assalaam Alakium well stated. I was just speaking of this same issue . Also, we’re suffering because we aren’t in control of our own affairs ! This has literally destroyed our family and community life . We’re left to this systemic system to handle our families, social, economic and educational issues . We don’t meet enough. We need to have more black town hall meetings instead of airing our differences on social media and etc. Especially our young people. They seem to want to be seen and heard by everyone. They don’t know how to have a code. We need to meet more without other people present.

This is why we need our own Credit Union and or Banks to financially support our own institutions. It will be morally best for us. Anybody who does not have this kind of vision should not be in leadership position. We cannot continue to ask for crumbs from somebody else’s table. Independence is what we still need. Simple as that.
