Just a guess, but they seem to be hungry plants. In my experience, often small plants cannot support a heavy fruit load and continue growing simultaneously (without water soluble fertilizer feedings or killer soil nutrition). Hit’em with some quick acting food or take off the peppers and see if the perk up. Maybe you already tried this though
Hey Rob! Hi from South of Houston! So you have a lot of pepper plants! That round pepper looks like it might be a cherry pepper. Look up cherry peppers and see if that is it. Also, the plants in the garden bed with the bad soil look like their leaves are yellow. Try a little fish emulsion, maybe that will help, or at least it couldn't hurt :)
I love that you like hot chillies. We like to grow really hot ones too here in our garden in Australia (mostly Habaneros). Fantastic harvest. Long time subscriber here from Australia. With everything going on recently I do hope you are staying safe and well.

Yeah been busy...so I've been lazy with fertilizing but thanks for the info on pepper plant
