How has RUclips changed your life as a newer creator or small channel? Does any of my experience so far encourage you to get started if you haven't yet? I personally believe there is only tremendous upside to starting!

Hi Ty, I am so glad you posted this video, it is such a breath of fresh air to hear someone talking honestly and from the heart about what it's really like starting out on here. At one point you said that you don't have any social credit or that you haven't proven yourself yet but that's not true! I only found your channel a few days ago and watching the few videos you have uploaded so far have encouraged me massively. If your mission is to help people you're doing a good job and if you keep chipping away as you are, you will build up a lovely community. Your vibe attracts your tribe and you are coming across so well. I can resonate with so many things that you say about life and yourself. I love that you filmed this outdoors, it was a great watch and the audio was perfect x

Aww thank you so much. I don't know what to say, you are too kind.
I think the scariest part is not knowing if we have the kind of vibe that can attract any tribe. I'm sure many of us think that and as a result, never take the steps to find out. There's a big part of me that worries about that, but there's also a slightly larger part that thinks it's worth taking the risk. I'd rather regret trying and failing, than not trying at all.
Thanks again for watching and taking the time to comment

I'm 4 years into journaling thanks to Atomic Habits and I've been using a habit tracker all that time. It's got to the stage where I don't feel I've accomplished anything if I don't complete it.
Things on my habit tracker include drinking 2 ltrs of water a day (which is important if, like me, you only have one kidney), reading something positive every day, practising my Spanish and a whole host of other things.
I also change things I want to track along the way depending on what habits I want to focus on.
Keeping a journal and habit tracking has had a massive influence on how I go about my days,
Ty, you're getting better and better in your presenting style with each video and your authenticity is shining through, well done. You're way better than you were when we first met online.
Don't worry, I'm still cutting ums and ahs out too. I rarely look at my analytics - I found they made me worry about my channel. I probably have a look once a month. STOP....expecting too much too soon. You're doing fine!

One of the best I’ve watched in a few weeks because of how much it resonated with me. I have another channel that I made maybe 3 videos for and then stopped because of a job & apartment loss.

Great book! With some great tips.
    It's great you feel motivated.
I think a lot of people starting youtube, find the biggest personal impact it has, is confidence from getting out of their comfort zone.
And you say, why would anyone listen to you and no one should, but you are already one step ahead of some people, so you are showing those people the way.
Keep it up, you've got this 😊

@@Ty_Myers I’m making design decisions now and setting up a framework. Most of it will be similar to what I have on TikTok. My niche is researching & exposing covert Christian nationalist (not true Christians) organizations and showcasing the harm & chaos they create. I need to remain anonymous on the channel for safety reasons so I’m incorporating AI, but I’m happy to talk shop offline. Full disclosure, I have more questions than answers at this point. I desperately need a reasonably priced source for B-roll & practical tools like that.

Funny I must be the only person who is clueless about playing online games, except 8ball pool. 3:48 I smiled so hard because I am so hooked on the views more than anything else. Might not be ideal but I always check the views before even a subscriber. I need to motivate myself more so I can be consistent. Ohh and by the way, I created a system as to how I can get in 10000 steps daily. Awesome video. I know you will be celebrating monetization for Christmas. Please don't criticize your repeated words or how you talk, I could sit all day and listen to you over Ali Abdaal, yessssssss he knows his stuff, yessssssss he is a successsssssssssssful RUclipsr, but it is like trying to understand Mathematics in class and trust me I really try but nope! Even his interviews are too painful for me. Yep, I can relate, I am a bowl of porridge before the camera hence I jumped to a faceless channel.

    • @Ty_Myers
      @Ty_Myers  25 дней назад +1

It's definitely tough getting in front of the camera. It's not intuitive for most people, myself included. It just takes a lot of practice and a lot of feeling crappy about how it went. I'm finding that if I practice talking about topics and concepts and ideas in real life with other people, that when it comes time to talk to camera, i'm so much better.
