Dear Tara & John 1st. the 300 year old olive tree and now the magic of bees discovering their new home. Thank for the magic you are bringing to all of us. What a lovely way to begin my Sunday morning. Thank you so much for the delightful adventure.
Bees❤❤❤❤ im so excited for you and that timelapse was just fabulous. Looking forward to all the amazing things the Newby's will surely get up to❤. Thanx for sharing all this amazing nature with us. Well done Tara you were so calm😊
Wow! Wow! Wow! This was fascinating, I have never seen anything like this ever!!! Thank you so much for continually sharing the most interesting and fascinating videos!!
When I was at university (I was 52 years old) a friend told me she wanted every bee dead. I was shocked and told her we would all starve to death? She said we could fertilize the plants ourselves. I had a great laugh! Asked her how many trees she could do in a day with a Q-tip. We are so reliant on bees. I have been stung twice by bees in my life. I am now 76. Let the bees be!
What a privilege that was to see the bees swarm and enter the hive, that was just a “WOW” beeutiful moment. Thank-you!!!!! . And Diego, what an amazing bee keeper to learn from !
Wow wow wow loved this video so much. I never realised I would be so emotional about watching bees find their new home! What a lovely guy Diogo is. It's so refreshing to watch someone who loves what they do and has such enthusiasm. Really wish him all the best and have signed up to his newsletter. Such a rewarding line of work. Tara you should definitely do that course now you've overcome your fear of bees. Wonderful.
This was fascinating! I usually scream when any bug or bee comes near me, but this was just so interesting to watch. Diego is so sweet and patient. Wonderful!
John and Tara...never a dull moment with you! This was fascinating, and just a little nail biting. I so enjoy my Sunday evenings watching the videos you tirelessly put out, sharing your lives with us. May your bee keeping flourish.
Bees are wonderful! Be proud and thankful for these silly little busy bees! They are SO important to all your plants and trees, and they are also the great suppliers of honey!! They work SO hard, and their lives are so short!
Amazing show! My friend was a beekeeper and he was transporting about 3,000 bees in a bucket with a net on top, he said smell it, so I bent my head down with the incredible buzz and took a deep breath in to the wonderful smell of orange blossoms. Thus orange blossom honey.❤️👏🌵
Hello o wow that so amazing, thank you for the privilege to see the bees swarming and entering there new hive, thank you to the beekeeper to teach you guys about the bees
Tara, you've been so enthusiastic about getting the bees on all of the videos up until now, I had no idea you were afraid of bees. Then you explained why...WOW! You are definitely living the "brave" part of your motto. Good for you!
Thank you for sharing and allowing us, yet again, to “experience” something so beautiful! And again, something most of us would never experience otherwise 😁🤗🥰
Bees are so important to our lives, even if I'm afraid, I will support the amazing people that takes care of bees. You are now a part of the defenders group of our future.😊❤
That “parade of the bees” was wonderful! Scenes like that are one of the rewards of beekeeping. Tara I’m sooo glad you’ve decided to take a course and learn more. I think you will enjoy it thoroughly and replace your fears with a love and respect for what they do, how they do it and the “miracle” that they are. Hours of entertainment and amazement! I’m as excited for you both and before you know it, your boys will be wearing their own beek suits. In the world of bees, beekeepers are sometimes called Beeks. You may have to add a moniker of The Newbeeks….😉❤️🐝🐝🐝
Amazing! The editing was wonderful-Sigor Ros was the perfect music to accompany the video. Tara you'll be a wonderful bee keeper. Diego is so calm and knowledgable-perfect combo for a bee keeper
I watched this with my eight year old son and we throughly enjoyed it! Bee puns and bee education and all! Thanks for sharing your bee journey! It was delightful or should I say beeeeautiful.😉🐝
What an absolutely INCREDIBLE episode!! And what amazing creatures they are - and vital to our ecosystem! Well done Tara for overcoming your fear!! Just awesome! And beautiful photography too! Can’t wait to see how the bees get on in their new home! x
Ive been learning for the past year with our local beekeepers and have a mentor who is teaching me everything in readiness for my bees to arrive this spring. We are also going to be getting our Australian native bees as well that are stingless so we will have two types of bees here. It’s truly an exciting exciting time. Have fun folks

I loved watching your bee episode. I adore honey but, I have a new appreciation for it. What a process. Everytime I watch your episodes, I feel like I am on vacation.
If you get stung by a bee, rub it with basil. That’s what my grandma used to do when we were kids. Can’t wait to see more episodes with the bees. We have two hives, and I LOVE seeing the bees around the garden. ❤
This week was simply amazing. Watching those bees walk up to their new home like little soldiers just made me so excited. Thank you for sharing this with us it was simply amazing!
Hooley Dooley! I know you were excited but did you ever imagine you were going to witness a highway of 15 thousand bees march into your hive like that!? I certainly didn’t! That was incredible!
Ahhh!!! I literally screamed with excitement when I saw the beginning of this episode because I knew it the bees have arrived. Oh my family loves watching you and your family. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you all the best!!!
Amazing! My grandfather was a professional beekeeper before and in WW2, having honey helped them survive, eating and trading was very important for my mom’s life.
What a beautiful experience. Bees are wonderful and so calming. You might want to set up a bench close by, maybe a bit further away for a start until you get to know and trust your bees and then move the bench closer as you feel more comfortable. I love sitting in front of the bee hives and watching the bees fly in and out. There are so many interesting things to discover and it is very calming. And note to John 😄 your friend didn't believe in strange things like energy - he just knows 😄 we are surrounded by energy, we are energy, everything is energy. Bees (or any animal - Obi for example) can sense your energy. The calmer your energy when you are around your bees, the calmer they are. We all pick up on each others energy. We don't have to touch things, just by being around each other we can sense the energy. Proof would be, go and stand under power-supply lines. Not only can you hear the power running through them but you can also feel it 😉😊 And on another note.... never go check on your bees when you are upset or under time pressure (been there, done that 🤕😄). Bees will know and they appreciate the calm conscious energy. 🐝💕
Lovely idea Julia, we can see the hive from the outdoor deck so perhaps we could sit there and admire the hive. Thanks for all the lovely support friend 🐝🍯❤️🙏🏼

The bees were amazing to are going into their new give your beautiful garden will really benefit from them. I've read that honey should only have a non metal spoon used as metal kills the enzymes in the honey ❤
I have three or four wasp traps hanging from trees around my property. It's getting to the point where its harder to see bees in our flower beds. So sad. You are so brave. I got swarmed by wasps years ago and nearly hyperventilated before I could get away. I got stung about half a dozen times. I think I was screaming like a five year old! Lol! Wow! It's kind of like watching the movie "Ben Hur" and seeing the twelve tribes of Isreal leaving Egypt! Simply epic! Thanks for doing it the long way.
It’s impossible to keep from smiling at John’s enthusiasm! Great video with lots of information and fun stories. I love that Tara shared about the race during her school days. Bees! We would be in real trouble without them.
We have 16 bee hives between us in our family ,my 12 year old is our bee whisperer ,too young yet but get the kids involved ASAP, you will get double the pleasure, best of luck
Hi Newbys, just loved this vlog what with John making the new bed and Tara and Crusoe watching the bees you make such an inspirational vlog that I love to watch.❤️❤️
Tara and John I have bees and I also suffer from a little anxiety.. it is a fact that just sitting next to the bees and watching h them and hearing them brings stress levels down. The buzz actually is a natural relaxation… I also talk to my bees and they say they get to know you personally… my god they are so much more than honey xx absolutely love my bees and mourn of if I loose a single bee xxx I guarantee you will be now hooked for life . Welcome to the alchemy xx
From my own experience with bees, don't wear black clothes when you work in the garden. Bees don't like it, they can get very agressive especelly the weather change to rain.
Your content is a heartfelt journey that resonates deeply with authenticity and courage. Each video is a testament to your resilience and creativity, inspiring viewers with stories of overcoming challenges and embracing growth. Your dedication to sharing meaningful experiences shines through, creating a connection that feels both personal and profound. And I am Floating Village Life
Hi Newbys. The bees are spectacular, awesome, amazing and absolutely stunning!! Your filming has beautifully captured the essence of the bees! I’m in the RFS (Rural Fire Services, in Australia) after the 2019/20 fires (the worst in AUS history), many brigades volunteered in a government run ‘catching bees program’. It’s an amazing experience and very important for the survival of both bees and humanity. There’s nothing quite like fresh and homegrown honey, YUM! Thanks for sharing and a shout out to Deago, I love his passion for bees! ❤Zeljka
Oh wow I will use your words that was epic. I am excited to see how the bees and their new home get along. The wasp catcher is brilliant 😊😊 Thank you for using the white sheet. That was truly amazing to watch and no one got stung. Good job ❤❤❤❤
That was so fantastic to see the bees. And the young man who was doing everything fascinating. So exciting that you will have made your own honey too 🙂🥰
I cried. So beautiful. So now John, having had this incredibly mystical experience, do you believe more in the 'energy exchange'? That's what love is after all. Bees and all animals work through these invisible channels, as do we. What a great video!
Hello Monika, (John here) good question friend, I’m not sure, it’s a funny old thing that feeling of utter amazement, loved it. Do I believe? Yes. Definitely in something bigger than our own selves. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🌺🌸🐧🙂
Wow!! We have loved watching these action packed videos, the planting of the Olive tree was so emotional, and Cruseo falling asleep in the digger, was a huge Awwww!! Moment, and little Sawyer now being a part of it all, as he has grown so much, and clearly loves it as much as his big brother. The bees were epic to watch, they are all little miracles, you were both so brave. Loved your story Tara of your 14yr old self., little did you know then. Thank you so much for letting us in on your wonderful life. ❤️🐝🐝🐝XX
Thank you sooo much, that was amazing and it took me back to something I watched a couple of years ago where a Malaysian tribe were harvesting honey from the forest. The native men dressed in loin clothes only set their intention and asked nature to protect them. They took half of the honey only for use for their tribe and the rest they sold at a local town as everyone needs it to assist with health, external wounds etc. The bees could rebuild there hive with that consideration. They agreed to take professional bee-keepers decked out in the typical western protection clothing with them. Yes the natives had no issue with being stung but those with the protective gear got hammered by the wild bees. They did not follow the native protocol. Perhaps the gear they wore was not up to standard but I witnessed many a wild bee inside the protective hat/veil section. As per usual the indigenous have much to teach us in regards to working with nature, when we are prepared to listen. Can't wait to see the next part. Again thank you so much.
Oh what a fabulous episode. I love bees and do everything I can to save one if it is struggling. Wasps on the other hand I don’t like as they sting for the sake of it. Love the trap Diogo gave you what a great idea. So interesting listening to Diogo explain everything to you and how lovely of him taking the time so you could film everything it was just so magical Xx
Thankyou so much for this amazing video “wow”. Deago (the bee whisperer) shows a respect and knowledge in his craft, just so interesting to watch. Fantastic Tara to hear you are inspired to study bee keeping. 👍💐🌻🐝❤️

Love sewer playing with the puppy 🐶
Long live the New-bees!🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
From my own experience with bees, don't wear black clothes when you work in the garden. Bees don't like it, they can get very agressive especelly the weather change to rain.
Thanks for the tip Ursula! 🐝🍯❤️🙏🏼

❤Zeljka
They are absolutely amazing Omah, we can't wait to learn so much more about them 🐝🍯❤️🙏🏼

I was literally pooing my pants.... At 57 years old I have never been stung & terrified of them 😵💫
Tara you are a braver woman than I. So impressed with the both of you getting in there with the bees.

It’s incredible to see the bees swarming then marching up the white sheet into the hive. Looking forward to seeing more of them. ❤

@@TheNewbys, we never miss an episode, I just had to comment on this one especially, your love for nature in all its forms is inspiring 🙏
Oh wow I will use your words that was epic. I am excited to see how the bees and their new home get along. The wasp catcher is brilliant 😊😊 Thank you for using the white sheet. That was truly amazing to watch and no one got stung. Good job ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for watching AnnMarie 🐝🍯❤️🙏🏼
Just more and more cool stuff. 👊
This has to be one of the coolest things Alan 🐝🍯❤️🙏🏼
That was so fantastic to see the bees. And the young man who was doing everything fascinating. So exciting that you will have made your own honey too 🙂🥰
Fasinating.❤
Thanks so much for watching Anjo 🐝🍯❤️🙏🏼
Wow! Wow! Wow! That was amazing...wonderful...Beeeautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!
Olive tree, bees?? Not sure which is the coolest! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thankyou so much for this amazing video “wow”. Deago (the bee whisperer) shows a respect and knowledge in his craft, just so interesting to watch. Fantastic Tara to hear you are inspired to study bee keeping. 👍💐🌻🐝❤️
