    Traditional American Thanksgiving Dinner
    Turkey or Main Course
If you were able to bag a turkey hunting or you raised your own backyard turkey or chicken, that would be your only option for roasting an entire bird [unless you count frozen food as pantry food]. However, this is not an option for most. Thus, I am suggesting one Mountain House Chicken Breast & Mashed Potatoes per guest as the entree. To make the chicken breast more festive, brush with cranberry glaze before serving. Potatoes can be served with canned gravy or melted Butter Buds.
    -- Cranberry Orange Glaze:
1 16 ounce canned jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 cup canned Orange Juice.(can substitute Tang)
    1 cup Brown Sugar
    1 3-inch Cinnamon Stick
Mix together the orange juice, brown sugar and cranberry sauce in a saucepan, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, drop in the cinnamon stick, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook, stirring frequently, until the cranberry sauce is melted and the glaze is hot and bubbling, about 10 minutes.
Dressing: My family would disown me if I didn’t make dressing from scratch, but here is a pantry alternative: Bring 1 ¼ cup canned chicken broth and ¼ cup liquefied Butter Buds to a boil. Add Stove Top Stuffing package and add ½ cup Honeyville’s Sausage Crumbles and mix. Cover and stand for 5 minutes. May also add dehydrated apple pieces if desired.
    Vegetables
-- Sweet Potato Casserole [Bake in cast iron pan over the fire coals]
1 40 ounce can cut yams, drained
    ½ cup brown sugar
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg beaten [2 tablespoons powdered whole egg + 2 teaspoons water]
    4 tablespoons liquefied Butter Buds
1 16 ounce package of mini marshmallows
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mash yams in a large bowl and add brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, egg, and butter buds. Mix well. Place 1/2 mixture in 1 quart baking dish. Top with a layer of marshmallows, then add remaining mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining marshmallows.
Bake for another 10 minutes or until marshmallows are lightly browned.
-- Green Bean Casserole [Bake in cast iron pan over the fire coals]
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup canned or reconstituted powdered milk
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    Dash ground black pepper
3-4 reconstituted packages of Mountain House Green Beans [enough to equal 4 cups] or Honeyville Freeze Dried Green Beans
1 1/3 cups canned French’s® French Fried Onions
Stir the soup, milk, onion powder, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions. Bake for 5 minutes more until the onions are golden brown.
-- Roasted Root Vegetables: Use home dehydrated bite size pieces of potato, sweet potato, parsnips, turnips, rutabaga, carrots and onions and rehydrate in canned chicken broth brought to a boil. Add vegetables to roasting pan and add more chicken broth. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with dried rosemary. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake in cast iron pan over the coals until liquid is absorbed and vegetables are lightly browned.
-- Corn: Either canned (prefer Freshlike Gold & White corn) or rehydrate home dehydrated corn. Toss with Butter Buds and salt and pepper before serving
Corn Bread: Marie Calendars Original Corn Bread Mix [Just need to add water] and bake in cast iron pan
    Desserts
-- Apple Crisp: Make individual servings of Mountain House Apple Crisp
-- Pumpkin Pie: Pumpkin Pie Spice Twinkie or Pumpkin Pie Pop Tart
    Beverage
Wine, hard cider or St. Julian’s Sparkling Juice [my adult kid’s favorite] or make a Buzz Aldrin Cocktail -- 4 ounces vodka and 2 tablespoons Tang

If I could go back in time, I'd love to sit down at Mama's Christmas dinner, as it was done when I was young. Grew up on a farm, where being prepared was simply a way of life. Memories go back to the time before REA brought power lines across our land. Her "traditional" menu choices were the results of my parents era and our "prepper" lifestyle.
Supper's ready! Come on before it gets cold! Somebody ask the blessing.
Fresh or corned ham - baked or boiled (depending on when the hogs were butchered)
Boiled backbone and spare ribs (similar to today's pork neckbones & gravy)
Free range chicken salad made with free range eggs from our chicken house
Potato salad from stored potatoes & more of those eggs
Can't forget her deviled eggs, either!
Collards (always sweeter after Jack Frost arrives) seasoned with cured ham hock
Whole baked sweet taters served with homemade butter & Karo syrup or molasses
Other vegetables varied by what she had preserved during the summer
A big pot of homemade tomato vegetable beef soup seasoned with fatback (salt pork) and broth from the boiled meats. (Especially chicken)
Homemade hot scratch biscuits and fried cornbread - made with fresh lard
Coffee, southern sweet iced tea, milk & buttermilk when the cow was producing milk
Mama loved to make desserts. We were a large family + guests, so she pulled out all the stops for Christmas. She started baking 3 days before Christmas Day.
Chocolate 3 layer cake with red & green layers & decorated with Maraschino cherries
Pineapple 3 layer cake with crushed pineapple between layers & rings with cherries on top
Coconut 3 layer cake with grated fresh coconut prepared in sweetened coconut water
Chocolate Chess Pie topped with meringue from our eggs
Coconut Pie with more fresh coconut
    Lemon Pie with more meringue
Banana Pudding made from scratch (more eggs!)
As I look at her menu, every dish had some aspect of being prepared. ie "prepper" Homegrown meats, vegetables, dairy & routinely well stocked pantry staples.
Her shopping list to prepare this meal was usually short.
    Bananas
    Fresh coconuts
    celery (for the salads)
Milk (usually condensed) if the cow was waiting to freshen (give birth again)
    Maraschino cherries
Our family kept her traditional Christmas dinner for many years. Still do bits & pieces from her treasured recipes. Sadly, as age has taken it's toll on sodium & sugar intake, along with availability of some of the items, we partake of less & less, except memories.
Thank you for the opportunity to enter your contest. Win or lose, thank you for the opportunity to spend a few minutes remembering her table, laden with the fruits of my parents labor. To be prepared to put supper on the table in good times and bad.
PS: IMO, Being prepared, also means being prepared to help others when the need arises.

In think mountain house is delicious BUT I do still take issue with the fact that post "servings" and not calories and macronutrient breakdown in bold letters on the box. A "serving" is just a marketing tactic. Personally I'm more concerned with how much energy and what sort I'm getting the box, that should be what people want especially for prepping. That said I don't doubt these are delicious, convenient and for a person with deep pockets absolutely the best option. Amazing GAW as usual I just hope they cover your shipping costs!

I do a lot of camping and this is a Thanksgiving recipe I've eaten many times and it works well. Main course is Mountain House Turkey Tetrazzini. Then I have a bunch or “sides” including Stove Top single serving size of Chicken Stuffing, Idahoan instant Baby Red mashed Potatoes and a pouch of Mountain House Green Beans. Now I like to add Ocean Spray Crasins to the Stuffing and even throw a little extra on the side. I also bring a small zip lock bag with some mini marshmallows and add a few to the potatoes once they are done to let the marshmallows melt. Last but not least I add one MRE Cornbread to help sop up all the gravy from the Turkey Tetrazzini. For dessert I love the Mountain House Raspberry Crumble but I think the new Mountain House New York Style Cheesecake sprinkled with a little pumpkin spice would be great too. While this is great for backpacking as you just have to add water, it's also great to make this from the preps in your pantry.

Hi Urban Prepper. First, I'm from Bulgaria . Maybe you haven't heard of Bulgaria, but i can assure you that this is a country with rich history and for sure rich and colorful cuisine. For example for a tipical holiday dinner we have at least 20-30 traditional meat meals. But when it comes to canned and dihidrated food this traditional meals come down to less than 6-7.In our stores there can be found canned version of meatballs with white sause, steak with something, baked beans with sausage and choped pork meat. Also there is a tipical bulgarian dish called ''sarmi'' . That is rice with vegetables and meat wraped in a vine or cabbage leaves, and then they are boiled. It's very tipical to find baked pumpkin kind of pumpkin pie. And lastly there is one more dessert called baklava which originaly is from Turkey. If i have to build a dinner out if this i''l choose - Meatballs, baked beans with sausage, ''sarmi'', and some pumpkin pie, which actually is called ''tikvenik''. I hope you now know a little bit more about Bulgarias' traditions and cuisine.

-Mountain house grilled chicken breast and mashed potatoes. (Gravy packet for the taters, of course)
-Stuffing (or what people call in the south, dressing). No freeze-dried food company makes a ready-to-go stuffing mix, but that’s probably because there’s no need to. Stove Top stuffing is little more than dehydrated vegetables, bread, and herbs. The package directions suggest adding hot water and butter, but liquid oil will work in place of butter.
-Green bean casserole. Start with a package of Mountain House cut green beans. Add to the package one packet of instant mushroom soup (Campbell’s and several other brands make these) and half cup of French fried onions. Add hot water, stir, and top with more fried onions.
-A Holiday meal without pie is not a Holiday meal at all. Mountain house apple crisp. For extra flavor, try throwing a handful of the dried cranberries and almonds from your trail mix into the packet. If you'd rather have pumpkin pie, Cliff bar offer a pumpkin pie flavor.

My Holiday Meal Plan for you.
    Soup:
Idaho creamy potato soup. Boil 2 cups of water and you have soup. - 1 pack
    Biscuits:
    Makes about 6 biscuits.
2 cups of self rising flour. Not all purpose!
    1 Tbsp sugar
    6 Tbsp powdered milk
    4 Tbsp peanut oil
    1 cup water
Premix all of the dry ingredients. Then add the oil and water. You can cook them over the fire using cast iron. Put a little oil in the cast iron to get them not to stick and to make them crispy.
    Main meal:
Mountainhouse macaroni and cheese - 1 or 2 packs and you will need 2 cups of water per pack.
Mountainhouse fire roasted vegetable blend pack - 1 pack will need 1 1/2 cups f water.
Mountainhouse diced chicken can to mix in with the roasted vegetable.- 1 can because it doesn't come on a pack.
    Dessert:
Mountainhouse Raspberry crumble - 1 pack will need 1 1/3 cups of water.
Or new from Mountainhouse cheesecake bites. - 2 packs no water needed.

Since it is just after thanksgiving lets stay with that theme for dinner. This will also depend on what u stock in your pantry.
But first step is to set up some snares and collect some wild edibles. Then a snack of some datrex bars instead of cheese and crackers and pine needle tea instead of wine, while we wait for dinner.
1st course is a salad (or last course if your Italian) with the wild edibles you have collected. The main course has sides of mac and cheese (KD, mountain house or w.e. you stock in your pantry), some sliced canned potatoes, canned corn, canned peas and carrots, some rice, and a can of cranberries for your main entree of a stuffed squirrel or pigeon depending on what you caught in your traps.
Dessert is mountain house neapolitan ice cream because i love that stuff.
I have never eaten squirrels or pigeons but there are a lot of them in my city and this is a grid down situation after all, so u have to make due with what u have!!!!

this seemed to be a difficult give away. mainly cause i stick with freeze dried for my prepping and bug out bag, get home back and such. I also wanted to stick with only that and stuff i've tried myself. I've been a backpacker's pantry type person. i've never actually had any mountain house meals and plan to try them (buy them individually to taste test) especially if i get lucky enough to be picked. finding a good meat type of option for this holiday meal was difficult since there isn't much of a ham or turkey option. below is what i picked (and i have tried them all and enjoy them as well).
    --Dinner--
Backpacker's pantry Chicken and Rice (x2 as only has 2 servings)
Backpacker's pantry Mashed Potatoes and Gravy with beef (x2 as only as 2 servings)
    Backpacker's pantry Corn (x1 has 4 servings)
Backpacker's pantry Macaroni and Cheese (x2 only has 2 servings and kid preppers favorite food. :D )
    --Desert--
    Backpacker's pantry Apple D'lite (x2 only has 2 servings)
all the dinner options are very easy to fix. just a add boiling water and zip the bag closed and give it some time. the only one that is a little more involved is the desert. it requires to be mixed with water in a pot and brought to a boil on the stove. so the clean up for this would be very minimal being the plate ware, silver ware, and the one pot. :)

    Holiday Meal
    Honeyville freeze dried turkey
    McCormicks turkey gravy pack
    Stovetop stuffing
If you like tamales ( use Fritos crushed and add water to make the outside for the inside use a can of Libby's roast beef add crushed red pepper, salt, pepper to taste. Wrap in corn husk and steam about an hour and half.
    Sides
    Pinto Beans
Broccoli Casserole-Steamed rice add honeyville freeze dried broccoli and velveeta cheese ( that stuff last forever and does not require refrigeration)
Corn bread pack to go with beans
    Instant mashed potatoes
Desserts- crushed graham crackers, sliced bananas, brachs Carmel Squares melted mix together.
I think that would be a perfect meal for a prepper
Great Contest! Always wanted to try mountain house. Keep up the good work.

I'm gonna go a different route here with MRE meal preps.
For sides you can use the MRE Tray packs that can be bought specifically for Hollidays or other family events.
    Mashed potatoes with chicken gravy.
    Cornbread stuffing with sausage
Some Individually wrapped MRE corn bread
    Mexican chili mac
For mains. Still using the tray packs
    Turkey cutlets
    Pork sausage links
    For desert.
    MRE brownies
    Tray pack sweet potato casserole
    MRE Apple dessert
    Those delicious MRE shakes!
Probably not the best options but shows how versatile MREs can be.

So to start with, I would have to choose crackers #10 can ($21.99) with cottage cheese #10 can ($65.99) on top hollowest by some seafood chowder ($24.59) for appetizers.
For the main it would be garden green peas ($3.69) with fire roasted veritable blend ($3.99) next to the green beans ($3.69), and for the protein I would choose the diced beef #10 can ($69.99).
For desert would be cinnamon Apple slices ($13.49) under the Neapolitan ice cream ($2.99), with apple crisp ($7.49) on top of that. Beside that dish would be a few New York style cheese cake bites ($3.49).
Now the portions would have to be adjusted depending on how many were eating, but I know my family enjoys a fire outside with guitar's and strong drink after dinner and into the night, so for the overnight snack would have to be the macaroni & cheese #10 can ($29.99).
That would be a great meal.

Time to get your MREs. REI does special seasonal MH stock sales, with a wide variety of items. REI membership (and having previous dollar credit coupons), then go in, and buy case lot discounts, ... and I walked out with 15+ cases of mixed products (100+ packs), some as singles, others as doubles) for ~$500 (worth $2000+). Afterwards, REI friends were always calling me Prepper John.

LOVE Mountain House, but if I were building an emergency stock of their products I would suggest a bit more variety than they’ve built here. There just seems to be too many duplicates. While I could happily eat the biscuits and gravy for four out of the five days, you might not want to eat the same entrees back to back, even in an emergency.

Ok, after long consideration I decided to go with a holiday meal made from the supplies that I would actually have on me in a 'bug-out'-situation. Mostly since you mention that the meal should be cooked without any kitchen supplies, which means that the items used in the meal are implied to be in one's bug-out bag as well. As would they be in your bug-IN supplies, you may as well use your kitchen or emergency preps for cooking in a bug-in scenario (like BBQ's, Electric Cook-plates (in case only gas is failing)) ... ... ... So Holiday meals in the Netherlands, well while we have a variety of traditional winter meals (lots of cabbage variety), there isn't really any true 'traditional meal' around these times (the traditional meals are meant for actual meals). So people generally do one of the following: - eat wild game like deer, rabbit (as that is in season); likely in a 3 or more course dinner... - Also popular is 'gourmetten' (in which a wide variety of meats, and go along ingredients, are placed on the table raw, and everybody at the table has a small frying pan (4x4-inch or so) to place on an electric cooking plate, and basically prepares their own small entree's from those ingredient, just the way they like it (f/e small meatball with some chopped union, chopped mushroom, chopped sweet pepper, then when done 3 slices of Gouda cheese on top just to melt

    • @dutchcourage7312
      @dutchcourage7312 9 лет назад

+Dutch Courage Ok so what is actually in my bug-out bag: - 1L of rice ... - 1L of Split peas ... - 1L of an assortment of non spiced jerky (chicken, pork, beef) ... 1L of trailmix (mixed variety of nuts & raisins) ... There are Liter measurements because these are all kept in 1L Klean Kanteen drinking bottles (with the idea that once food runs out, water will be more paramount, they are also waterproof and thus airtight) ... 1x 4inch tin with lid, filled with a variety of bouillon cubes in variety of tastes (chicken-broth, beef-broth, herbal-broth) ... 3 tiny tins of double concentrated tomato puree/sausebase ... small vial of salt, small vial of sugar, small variety of herbs (basil, thyme, ... ) ... a small bottle of rum ... tranches of instant coffee & tea-bags ... ... Cooking implements: 2 stainless steel bottles, 2 stainless steel cups & lids(basically 2x pathfinder cook sets), 2x stainless steel dog bowls, some knives & cutting board, some sporks ... ... ... the bug-out meal plan is as follows (somewhat similar to instance meal, so 1 pot but longer boil time). Put the split pea's in a water bottle and let them soak (if on the move, or in one of the cups if in camp), while they do not require soaking persee, it will shorten the actual cooking time. Put the peas with the water on the fire, add a bouillon cube of taste you prefer said day, let boil for say 10min, then add one serving of rice to the pot, let boil 10min, for the last 10min either add a variety of jerky to the pot, or if you so prefer sort them by taste. Check if after 30min the peas are done, if so, start munching ... so while the meals are largely the same for each of the 3 days, the taste is different every time due to the choice of soup as the base ingredient. If wanted a tin of tomato puree can be added, or the whole spiced with some herbs ... ... ... The trail mix is obviously intended for lunch ...

    • @dutchcourage7312
      @dutchcourage7312 9 лет назад

+Dutch Courage Ok, NOW Disaster strikes over the Holidays !!! ... Something special has to be prepared, in preparation of the holiday meal some things are done the evening prior to the actual meal... ... I have chosen to mix my countries customs and my ingredients into a 3 course meal, with a choice between stone-grill or broth fondue... ...the numbered recipe follows: ... ... 1. Make one roughly 1 liter of tea in one of the stainless steel bottles, let it cool off, add sugar to taste ... ... 2. Sort out a hand full of raisin's from the trail mix, put in one of the dog bowls, add the rum to it, let it soak over night... -- ...Next morning, poor off any remaining rum into the icetea, let it rest a bit, poor off some tiny bit more; sprinkle a few dashes of sugar over the raisins, mix well together, put these in a zip-lock bag. You will need the bowl again ... ... 3. Pre-soak the peas in one of the cups ... ... ( - Make a modern key shaped fire pit; you will make an actual fire in the round shape of the key, and while burning down you add the coals to the actual key part. Once there is a nice coal bed, place a flat stone on top (be careful here and test out the stone in fire the night prior, never use stones that come from a river, stones 'can explode', if there are cavities in them even more so if they are soaked in water. Though more then often they are just fine)) ... ... 4. Sort out the jerky, put some of the pork and beef jerky in one of the dog bowls and add water to rehydrate the meat. Put it off to the side for now; keep the chicken jerky around on the cutting board. ... ... 5. Boil 1L of water in the remaining stainless steel bottle (mainly to help speed up things) on the side of the fire ... ... 6. Put the peas & water onto the hot stone to bring them to a boil (may want to pour off the water and add some of that boiling water instead to speed up the process, add more water to the bottle) ... ... *!* After about 10min ... ... 7. Add boiling water to the remaining dog bowl and put it on the stone as well, add 1/4th a cube of chicken broth/bouillon cube. Add just a dash of rice, and add the chicken jerky. Let it boil until the rice is done, should be about 10min or so) ... ... 8. Put a serving of rice in one of the cups and add boiling water, put it on the stone also ... ... => Enjoy your first course, a dog-bowl with chicken soup. (10min), clean your bowl ... ... 9. Both the rice and the peas should be done now, pour off the water. Put one double concentrated tomato puree tin in the bowl add a dash of water, add the peas, add the rice, add a dash of salt & thyme. Bring it to a simmer, add some basil ... ... 10. While 9, put boiling water in one of the freed up cups, add 1 cube of herbal broth (make it strong!) to said water, just let it sit boiling on the stone ... ... 11. When 9 is basically done, pour off the water from the rehydrated meat ... => Enjoy your second course, Italian flavoured rice & beans in tomato sauce, while choosing to either stone fry the chunks of meat, or boil them in the broth (or both at the same time), may even choose to roast some bits over the fire. Don't forget to enjoy your spiked ice tea, do be so classy to actually use that 2nd cup that is available once you do step 9 ... ... -> Once done and satisfied, give everything a quick clean, except for that bottle of boiling water, it is time to prepare desert ... ... 12. Put the sugared rum raisins in one of the dog bowls, and fish out a hand full of assorted nuts (no raisins in there this time) in the other dog bowl. Poor some of that boiling water into one of the cups and add the instant coffee (sugar to taste). Drink your coffee while enjoying the raisins and nuts. If you are truly prepared, you may actually choose to take out that 'end of the world cigar' as well, kick back your feet and enjoy ... ... ...Thank you for this contest, it was actually really nice to figure out something a bit more classy than glorified carbohydrate/protein soup/stew, from the ingredients that I choose to put into my bug-out bag as a 'food-module'. Sure, it may not be as wonderful as an actual holiday meal in a pre-SHTF situation, but still, little can be made into much more, with some imagination, and I am glad I choose to take a variety of things, which let me do a variety of things. Obviously there are no exact measurements, and for 4 people you need to multiply everything by 4 ... ;P ... (hope this is better)

I'm UK based, so not sure if I can enter, but I'm a sucker for sourcing all kinds of emergency foods / long shelf life foods and rations from all over the place so enjoyed the exercise anyway!
    Starters: Dried French Onion Soup:

    Or a chocolate sponge pudding:

    Serve with instant dried custard!

Saratoga farms turkey with seasoning of your choice. And if you are feeling adventurous try to make some Biscuits over open fire ( similar to RUclipsr- Eatallthebirds video ) . Love your channel hope to win! :D

My prepper holiday meal would be vacuum sealed turkey jerkey (great how to @ marksdailyapple.com), organic potato flakes (add water, dried whole milk, canned butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning (or whatever general all spice you prefer...these spuds can be a bit bland) salt and pepper), brown gravy (recipe @ tngun.com), green bean casserole (family tradition for morale sake and its delicious - canned green beans, mushroom soup and dried onions topper) and of course Mountain House Apple Crisp for dessert. Sit back, lossen the belt and enjoy.

Start with a late afternoon snack of Mountain House Ice Cream Sandwich with a cup of eggnog from Vermont Eggnog mix. Dinner should consist of Mountain House Turkey Tetrazzini and Mountain House Italian Style Pepper Steak for the gluten conscious crowd. Sides of canned cranberry sauce, canned baby corn, Mountain House Green Beans, Idahoan mashed potatoes with a packet of brown gravy. Dessert is an easy choice, Mountain House Neapolitan ice cream broken up and drizzled over Mountain House Raspberry crumble.
A supportive beverage should be a growler of Brother IPA from Fremont Brewing on 34th Street in Seattle.
In a true preparedness situation I would be much less extravagant of course. The meal would be more likely Mountain House Turkey Tetrazzini and perhaps Mountain House Neapolitan ice cream for dessert.
Thanks for an interesting video and thanks to +Mountain_House for sending the gear! ruclips.net/video/hWbgUR267Fw/видео.html

I'm looking to serve 4-6 preppers and friends. Appropriate size for each item is fine (e.g., 1 #10 can, 2 pouches, 12 oz can x 2).

Sweet sue whole canned chicken, smash instant mash potato, bisto gravy granules and some tinned vegetables
Only because i actually want to see someone attempt to eat a gross looking Sweet Sue Canned Chicken!
Oh and washed down with some Blue Can water and a mountain house dessert afterwards because i do have a heart and you would need something decent to take the taste away feom the chicken!
    Greetings from stormy England!

+jamie Outdoors FWIW..... Canned chicken...... chicken salad with hardboiled eggs, chicken & dumplings, chicken noodle soup, any casserole that calls for cooked chicken. (No it ain't fresh roast chicken :-) but it still works in many recipes.)
Oh... one more: Chicken & gravy biscuits (Make brown gravy with chicken stock & seasonings, add shredded chicken & simmer. Serve over hot homemade scratch biscuits! With a well done roux and properly seasoned, you'll want seconds. :-)

Those prizes seem like an awesome opportunity and I'd love to enter... But I won't.
There are two reasons. Firstly I'm in the UK. Shipping that lot would be pretty pointless. It would cost as much as the actual items would to buy.
Secondly the prizes are useless to me, because I am vegetarian.
Don't get me wrong, I love MH products and have quite a few of them (love the Vegetable Tikka with Rice). But a lot of these companies always go for the easy options of assuming people will eat any of their products. And why wouldn't they? That covers 99% of the people who buy them so it's an ideal target audience.
But not many of them offer larger packs for veggies. In fact I can't think of anybody offhand. Here's hoping Mountain House read this and think about it.
