I bought milk/butter/egg powder bundles for 75 about a year ago, eggs alone have been hovering at about 120 lately! Lol wow, mountain house is at gouging level prices lately
Today I bought 10,000 calories of potatoe shreds at a decent price,
What your doing is exactly the way to do it, this is like luxury flavorful stuff compared to the king a queen(rice and beans) of prepping, in my opinion, everyone should have those but cooking is harder
In the AZ desert storing water is my biggest concern of course
I've rambled
Great video 👍
Auguson Farms Amazon store also accept EBT(foodstamps). I just received back pay and I just purchased chicken, beef, potatoes, and pails of mre’s. I will purchase many many more. Thanks for the video. Edited to add powdered eggs were purchases as well. I will stick up on the soups and fruits next.
I wanted to tell you that this was very helpful. I just put my first Augason order in and got seven cans - with none less than 40% off. This really made a difference. I was able to get things that I haven't previously bought from the LDS store.
t was helpful. I have saved a lot too, which allowed me to buy more. The LDS store is great, but very limited.
I bought a #10 can of powdered whole eggs. It cost me a bit over $27 in December, 2020. I looked at the price last week, $150 for the SAME thing!
Thank you very Much! I have been getting their stuff on sales but these tips are very helpful!
I grabbed the resealable egg pouches today. They went on sale again.
Food shortages are a concern that's why if I see something like oatmeal out of stock I'll buy regular instant Quaker oatmeal and repacked it in my own mylar bags with oxygen absorbers making it last a very long time and in someway its cheaper that buying Augason farms but I do have plenty of Augason farms stuff as well.
I ordered four cans of the Freeze Dried Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Kit today, for $26 each, I think that is a fair price. I doubt there is much chicken in there, but I think it is an OK deal. As soon as I ordered, it went back to full price, $52, absolutely crazy price!
It looks like RUclips deleted the comment I made last night. They're getting bad.. I meant to give you a tip about HSN they have the Augason Farms morning moo milk two pack regular and chocolate in number 10 cans cheaper than anyone else. Its 41 with free Shipping but if you use the code you get 10 off so it's 30 bucks for both so 15 bucks a can well worth it. They also have some other deals to check out.
Thanks. I will check them out.
I almost got some Morning Moo a while back, then realized it wasn't regular milk, it's made from whey. Just not for me. I like the Augason Country Fresh nonfat milk, especially on sale for $14.98/can. Of course, with Augason, if it's a good deal, I get four. The Mormons have a good deal on powdered milk, also. You may not want real milk, I just wanted to add my experience to your post...
@@mosilver1572 I appreciate that. Well, I order from the LDS Store online. I have placed a lot of orders over the last two years. Hard to beat the $3 shipping. I have some of everything they offer. I have not tried the Augason Farms brand milk yet. I have been considering it.
When i search i search lowest to higher price to see the cheapest first. But sometimes you can get the big buckets for $30-$50 so i check those out from time to time.
Thanks for sharing. I will keep a closer eye out for the buckets.
There will definitely be price hikes when the stores get emptied. Get these while you can while they’re at a decent price
Yep. I keep buying when I find the deals. Thanks for sharing.
This is an old post. It's the last of of September and this is a sale take took place nearly 5 months ago.
Its an ongoing sale with Augason farms, you can look any day, everyday and find some of their products on sale.
Noticing some of the better deals are on product not immediately available, like a pre-order discount sorta, deals are still around if you look but the deals are less and less awesome lol
Hey, for #10 cans, check out the Mormon store. Not much on selection, but some basic wheat berries, flour, oats, and a few other things. They also have potato flakes in the can, I ordered some, but who knows when it will show up. The powdered non-fat dry milk is a good deal, but it comes in pouches, still OK for me.
I am a member of the church and have been purchasing a lot from the Store. Great prices, wish they offered more variety. Thanks for pointing it out and glad its helped you.
Thanks for all your help!!😀
I have found what is no longer available on Augason Farms website on Amazon. But even there things are no longer available as of 7/22. I watched eggs in one day go from $35 to $85. For some reason it was down to $40 a couple of days later so I bought two. I have enough for 3 months, maybe more. Black bean burgers is gone now. You list it here as $99 and I paid $128 for a bucket.
The prices can sometimes change several times per day. They just jump all over. I only buy when its down.
I got a lot of Augason Farms earlier this year, great deals. Now, the deals are pretty much all gone.
Interesting, since I released this video, I have not been seeing the deals with 60-70% off, I still see 30-50 bit that is mostly the bread products, pancakes, rolls etc.
@@DownGridSurvival I was a little frustrated for a while, the bread stuff is great, but I got a lot at 60-70% off, so I really have enough. But, I did learn more about the Black Bean Burger mix, I just wasn't interested when it was cheap. Then, I found out all the onions, oats, peppers, and other things they put in it. So, I watched it for a few weeks, and got some for $10.06/can. Also, the Potato Shreds are great, at $8.78. The Whole Egg sounds expensive for $33.08, but I got a couple more cans, I don't think it will be on sale, and it's cheaper than other companies. The egg powder is almost the same price I paid last year, but I think it will go up.
@@mosilver1572 Thanks for sharing. We continue to pick up a couple every week. I also got the potato shreds recently at a great price too. I agree, eggs, probably wont be coming down anytime soon.
Amazon charges $57 for one canister of eggs.
Is there a limited amount of time to use the rest of the product after you open the can? A single person wouldn't need to use a large quantity of powdered egg, just a small amount on first opening. Would the shelf life still extend to 5+ years for remainder of the product?
Good question. The manufacturer says you have 1 year after opening. However, as long as you reseal it right away using mylar and oxygen absorbers, you should be able to keep it 5-10 years easily. Just don't leave it out long enough that it starts to absorb moisture from the air.
@@DownGridSurvival thank you!
You can put it in a Mason jar, and vacuum seal it over and over! An Oxygen absorber would be good to throw in there, also.
Thank you so much God bless you
There 25 bucks a can of more noway in the stores
Thx
All you do is store the cans in a dark , cold place ??? Nothing else ??

Do you really have to show everything that’s out of stock?
Yes, I do.
Plz tell us what you DO have not what you don't have.
Its never been more important to stock up on food, but save when you do it. amzn.to/3k4nbbY
Yep scary
Funny i have not met anyone who got very skinny during pandemic. In fact everyone got fatter. Dont think food shortage is a thing to worry
That is because during the pandemic, everyone was locked up at home not getting any exercise, board, but there was still food available to purchase. It's a completely different situation when there is no food available. Just consider the Great Depression when there were soup lines to feed the hungry. People think it will never happen here, it will never happen to them. Better to prepare and not need it, then to need it and not have it. Hard times are coming.
A food shortage last year is not what we're talking about it is the one that is coming that we need to prepare for. We're still eating last year's harvest the craps that are being planted now or not and the missing fertilizer can lead to some major gaps. This brand has a 30-year shelf life for many products so I don't plan on eating it it's just my backup plan. Personally I like to have over a year worth of food good to go. All the indicators are telling us there's going to be famine throughout the world. Better safe than sorry.
I bet when you are starving you'll change your mind!
People get fat when there is a food shortage because they eat more junk food since it is the cheapest.
@@maritzao2034 not when there's a real food shortage, gaining weight becomes a serious luxury
