Amazing work...Protecting the animals from the Fed. Government we pay to protect them. I wonder why civilians get so much more accomplished with much better outcomes? Not to mention less money! Well Done to all at the Cloud Foundation!
Ginger is one of my role models and when I grow up I hope I can open or work at a horse rescue or for an organization. I'm only 14, so there isn't much I can do right now.
I hope you do, Rita, but in the meantime there are things you can do NOW. Write letters to your representatives. Get your young friends to do it too. Spread the word and take action! That's how we got the Wild Free Roaming Horses and Burros Act passed in 1971....through young people protesting to save our wild horses. We need you more than ever now. YOU can make a huge difference. I urge you to take action. You have more power than you realize and this would be a great way to start your work for horses. Go for it! Snail mail letters piled up on the desks of congressmen and senators have quite an impact...much more so than emails in an inbox.

Thanks for the holiday message. Found out about your ORG when a neighbor (who rescues horses) gave my daughter a "Cloud" resin horse set (4 horses) for Xmas. The packaging let me on a search for the Nature program (and found your RUclips channel in the process). Living in Canada, we cannot watch the online show at PBS (for 'copyright' restrictions) ... so am still looking to engage my 10yo daughter in the program. Happy 2014!

I hope to one day be able to financially help The Cloud Foundation. I adore these magnificent animals with comprehensible love, may more be saved next year and possibly convince the BLM to stop the unnecessary roundups.
You can tell others about it and get them involved too. There's also organizations who take part in the "Adopt a Mustang" program as well as Mustang Makeover which is where you foster a mustang for 100 days, earn it's trust, get it used to be in a saddle and bridle, ect and then you send it to a show event (where other people taking part in the Makeover are) and show the crowd of appealing buyers how much your mustang has improved and you can either buy it after the show or give it a new home.
Will there be any more updates on the herds? Is Encore, Image and Cloud doing okay? How is Bolder? I searched the whole internet just to find some 2015 blog posts :( Its almost 2017!!!
Cloud hasn't been spotted for a while, so they believe he could've passed away :( Bolder on the other hand, I'm not sure. But I do know Flint has his own little band now ^^

That's horrible!! I have been following the Cloud Herd for several times. This just proves how greedy people can be. Just a bunch of rich people trying to just get only richer at any cost no matter what that demands.
