    Superb job there! Ive had the back of my maxi carpeted and floored by the garage I got my van from. Felt that I didn't have the know how and experience to do it. I will however attempt to sound deaden and carpet the spaces behind the seats. Awesome vid and keep them coming!

    Dan when you used the clips on the panels before carpetting, did you do anything special to avoid seeing the shape of the clips through the carpet?

    How much four way stretch dis ya buy. So glad theres now a video on how to do this am now gonna attempts my own amd save my self some money.

      Thank you so much for watching and for your comment John. I spoke about this in episode 5 I think. I used 8m of carpet and 8 can's of adhesive. Go for it. It isn't that difficult.

      @@DanChambersDAC defo gonna get on it soon gotta fit a load of amps amd speakers first and work out how to mount the amps when i take the ply liner away. Got one amp on it at min but realy want to hide them

    Hey really like the video! I'm thinking of doing something similar, I'm just at the start of carpet lining the sides. I'm using it as a camper. Do you think it would be okay to carpet straight onto the metal like yourself or better to add carpeted plywood panels? I'm just worried about condensation from the metal work.

      Will be fine to carpet onto the metal I would think. That is how my T5 was done and used as a camper.

      @@DanChambersDAC sweet thanks! I ended up cutting out small panels from the original 'larger' wall panels just to fill the small voids and insulation on both side walls. Think it will look okay once I stick the carpet over! :)

      I got the wall carpet from Mega Van Mats in the UK. I think I ordered 12m of the Anthracite for the T5 Project. I used 8m for the Caddy. Thank you so much for watching and for the comment bud.

      Not in this one. This was just done to quieten down the inside of the van. It isn't a camper.

    All that work and virtually no insulation on the sides which should've been filled with insulation and boarded out.

    But why? Noise will come through the windscreen etc...Are you going to sleep in it? Carpet will eventually get mouldy from condensation if there is no venting.
