I just bought a 98 trooper that sat for 12 years,, 130,000 miles,, cleaned up like new ,, 500 dollars plus 500 in parts and it's the best vehicle I've ever owned by far.
My grandad had one just like that and we both absolutely loved it until he passed away. So many memories in one of these and it looked exactly like the one of the ad! Except we put a bull bar on the front.
So good that the Isuzu engines live on today in Land Rovers long after the car passed away. Just stripped my 4JB1 and I'm stunned how great the condition is. The main and big end bearings look like they've been run for a couple of weeks.
I liked the 5 seat LWB 3.0 Citation Trooper as it had room for 5 adults and a big boot that's ideal for the big weekly shop and good for big loads with rear seat folded.
I had siezures and about month and a half ago I had brain surgery I 'm going to wait four more months for my safety but in a month I can start practice driving but I got a 1998 trooper as my first car
@@silvaaanrandom7575 I am I haven't had any for 9 months I drove for the first time I cant drive yet but I'm almost there just one more doctor appointment for approval but thank you
I had two Isuzu troupers as I had such a great experience with the first. It was comfortable, wouldn't win the traffic light GP but who cares my wife loved the light and airy feel of it and the view outside. I never even had a light bulb fail. Quality was superb. I had a Merc ML afterwards and it was poor in comparison. Shame they have stopped making them and now concentrate on commercials.
So when does she take it off-road and show the 4x4 capabilities? "The size of this thing is incredible". She needs to get her pretty body into a 6.8 V10 Excursion 4x4. I just sold mine as I no longer needed to tow a heavy trailer in snow. She even admits to not being able to park. I am from the UK and assure you that parking spaces are not that small. I like the Trooper, but is is narrower that the Isuzu Rodeo and is really a small-ish SUV. Why companies opt for a pretty face and a vacant space between the ears over an informative presenter is beyond me when they are trying to "sell" the benefits of a vehicle.
Hello, friends, please tell me, is the Automatic transmission (automatic transmission) not reliable at all in 1999? I am interested in durability, as I was told, the automatic transmission is rather weak .... Please answer me 🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂
It's not immense if you are an American, because in the United States it's inhabitants are used to large cars, but in Europe, with its generally smaller and cozy cities, and narrow roads, it is a big car. Exceptions being countries such as Germany and Russia with large and wide roads
I’m Japanese and own trooper in Japan. It is immense for me, since roads in Japan is so narrow. Fortunately I live in rural areas, so compared to the roads in large city like Tokyo, roads are wider than that in Tokyo. I don’t wanna imagine driving this one in Tokyo...
Play a traditional Asian song to feature an Asian sourced vehicle, and voila, you're being racist. Who woulda thunk political correctness could ever get this crazy?? :)
ChuddleBuggy im not PC crazy I've got a sense of humor but it's kinda weird why did the music HAVE to be Asian for a Asian suv & a stereotypical Asian sound its like when you watch old movies hear entering an Asian guy followed by Asian music it's now seen as racist or at the very least insensitive
Nick Dovie well, Nick, that's exactly what I'm saying. Why would it be insensitive to associate a person of a certain race to a cultural staple of that same race? Keyword being, "insensitive". Why? Is it offensive for Asians to be associated with Asian cultural identifiers??
ChuddleBuggy. i think the reason it may be offensive is because it's non Asian folks useing typically Asian music to describe an Asian auto....that's what i think anyway
Nick Dovie Ok, so I get the part where it becomes annoying for an Asian person who has been brought up in a non-Asian country, and who has adopted a non-Asian culture, to be automatically associated with Asian culture, w/c by now has become alien to them. That is however, not the same to associating a product of a certain culture to the traditions usually attributed to that particular culture.
You're racist for calling it racist when it wasn't intended to be racist to begin with. You and your kind are obsessed with race. You see racism where there is none because of that mentally unstable obsession. You should seek counseling.
Not racist at all. Just traditional Japanese music. If she reviewed a Bronco, and had a bit of Springsteen or ZZ Top playing, how would that be racist?
Hahaha. I was happy to see Ginny squirming around on that hood with those tight pants on. And you you were thinking was: "I wish that was a man!" Sheesh
I miss my 1998 silver Trooper! It was a great car. I was a fool not to buy it when the lease ended. Wish they still made them!
I love 1998 Isuzu Trooper! A great car. I have one but with huge tires of 35 / 12.50R16 CAR OF MANY POWER!

That was a kinda racist intro, no?
Which bit... the music, or the 'surprise' that it's not an American car... or maybe its a mix of both?!
I immediately heard the same thing
The reviewer should be a MAN.not another WEAKLING with an insecurity issue.no offense.
