On my channel, I share my songwriting process. The streaming platform thing is tricky - it does take a lot more work on the mixing/mastering side to get them platform ready. I'm glad to hear you're focusing on your own music - excited to see the next video.
Hey trev! Just a thought to consider. Remember that “playing as a kid” is key in the moment of bringing something creative. The dynamic of Making this videos has brought amazing songs and i think all of them show some of you and your style. So i would recommend that you dont discard this creative process as a part of the “style” of your album that your are looking for
Hey there! Trust me, I'm 100% a believer in what you're seeing. Whats great about getting all of these videos under my belt is that it has allowed me to find a rhythm of creating to where I feel more in love with the process than the actual result itself, which is something I've been chasing my whole life. The next videos that cover this project will look and feel the exact same as the previous videos I've done, just looking to cover my intentions on where this is ending up :)
I think u should work towards more of an image, or creating some what an artist persona or try to bring yourself out there. a lot of the producer youtubers i see never get anywhere because the songs they make are specifically for the content, but i think if ur able to make it seem like ur just recording music FOR ur project, you can get really out there. that's just how i view it as a viewer. hope that helps!
Essentially what I’m going to do is release everything that I’ve made in these videos as “Music by Trev” and then the original project I’m working on as “Trev Barnes”. Truthfully, I’m not looking to really go anywhere with my music other than just creating, but I have given the separation of personas a thought.
