Father's Day Excursion - Shieldhall in Slow Motion!

This video was taken from the rib of the Hamble Lifeboat after a medical evacuation training exercise whilst Shieldhall was sailing down Southampton Water. Thank you to the Hamble Lifeboat for coming aboard! This video was taken on the 19th June 2016.
Shieldhall is a Heritage steam ship and a member of the National Historic Fleet. Recognised to be the largest working steam ship of her type in Britain and probably Europe, she serves as a tribute to Britain's maritime heritage and a living reminder of the golden age of steam.
