Hello Mam, here in this video you are explaining about static lookup and while explaining from excel file you have shown that the lookup table is updated after every insertion. But in actual Lookuptable in case of static is never updated . for an example if target table is empty and we have lookup on tha target table , then that lookup table is also empty . so if we have started execution and ssay emp 10 we have to insert into table then as lookup is empty , it will insert that record into target table but that lookup table will not be updated . so if suppose my second record is also 10 then , there will be no any entry present in lookup table and this records also gets inserted into target table . I have done it. Please clear my undesrstanding if I am wrong. Waiting for your reply...It is very good explanation you have given us on Informatica. Really appreciate your help...
+prashant mhatre HI She is referring loading the records in next load, don't consider it as second record, so next time if the record with employee id 10 comes it will lookup the target table and it will find so it will not be inserted. actually she explained in a way which is causing someone to misinterpret it, but she is loading the same record in next load, even I got confused for second but if you watch carefully she is saying "next time..."

your way of teaching is good however your accent is very different and bothers. can you please try to pronounce the words correct. Its transformation and not transmission
