nice video! one suggestion- you could have use directly a expression followed by update strategy and in the update strategy a condition can be mentioned as IIF(NewLookupRow=1,dd_insert,iif(NewLookupRow=2,dd_update)).
This way there was no need to use a router and to use the same target twice in the same map.

+ankit nighojkar Hi Ankit cud u tell me if i need to do anything in the exp transformation. I am not able to update the target even though i have put the condition IIF(NewLookupRow=1,dd_insert,iif(NewLookupRow=2,dd_update)) in the update strategy expression. The error that I get is that unique constraint violated. Any help would be very much appreciated.

      Hi Zubair,
Go to Session --> Properties --> Treat Source Row as --> make it as (Data Driven).
By doing this you will not get any error.
      :) :)

I have a doubt here.. In dynamic lkp, it will check existence of same valued columns. If not present it will create based on newlookuprow. If it is present, then why to update again in target table? Can u plz comment here?

1 doubt . If the cache is not persistent . Whats the use if cache is being updated within execution or after execution . As cache will be deleted after session is run right ?

Static cache will not get updated after execution, it will get updated during the beginning of next session run.
