thanks Luke~ im just found your YT Channel Recently and this video help me alot for understanding strategies using starter cards~ im new in this game im just playing recently and i think its fun game~ thanks for content~
Hello Luke. I have started playing splinterlands 2 months ago and i started only bith budget = 0. I have only bought spellbook for 10 dollars and i have not spent any penny later. Since then all i do is do daily quests, get season rewards and farm DEC in bronze 2 when renting cards. I think i am kind of bronze expert right now. First of all, do not analyse enemy previous matches, it's hopeless since 90% of games are against bots that set a team based on match conditions (X power = Y team). There is not the same power every game, so you really don't know what enemy team will be. It's better to just prepare some teamcomps and just use them blindly not checking enemy last games. Also you need to modify teams periodically because "bot meta" changes over time. BTW i will do a spoiler to you - when you hit bronze 2 with 1000 card power rented, your win rewards will be +/- 0.2 dec at 100% capture rate xD. I like content you do, but with respect to all splinterlands youtubers - you all know a little about bronze leagues and earning DEC from scratch at current splinterlands situation. Good for you that you actually try to do it from scratch instead of some youtubers that starts in bronze league with level 2 summoner and level 3 commons and shows how easy it is to climb with cards that costs more to rent than you can farm during matches. Keep going, i believe in you, as someone earlier said, it's rock paper scissors, but when you win games in a row you get more exp than when you lose
Yeah I got rekt haha. Thanks for your advice! When we starting renting Mylor in the livestream things went a lot better and I think I should be able to rent to silver soon on the account. We shall see if we can start turning more profit soon on the account!
Great content as always, i'm wondering what will happen to the card prices once legendary summoners are airdropped or we get a pre view of them, im assuming some cards will go sky high real quick, whaths your tought on this? Currently doubting between buying 200 choas packs saving them and resell at 10-20 usd or keep the 800 usd investment and buy up those cheap cards. And wait for legendary summoners to scope them up.
Depends I think if you're in a long term or short term strategy. Market starting to look more and more bearish across crypto in general. If the bear market continues it's hard to say that any cards will go up in price too much, especially with more supply coming out. For me personally I'm building up 2-3 decks I like instead of going for tons of packs. Still will get a few packs for fun but that's probably it for me.
Im looking to play the game for years to come but this investment would be a 3 to 6 month plan. If cards stay around the same or even 2x then it might be better to get packs. I can probally sell them in 3 to 6 months for 2.5x to 5x on packs and then buy cards with the profits.
@@Khalinjai True but I'd say it also depends on your theory for the whole crypto market. If it's still down and people are earning less then maybe there isn't as much demand on packs so there's no guarantee even on that. I think packs do have a good chance to rise up in value eventually but it's also hard to predict when if market continues down.
Thank you for the great insight this is a good point to consider im new into crypto and honestly im just playing this game for fun, i always invest into games so this game atleast allows me to sell the stuff i buy regardless of how much it will be worth.
@@Khalinjai Yup! I think if market turns around one day, no matter what we do our splinterlands assets will probably go up. Just depends on when that next bull run will be.
I think it will definitely increase in the future, who's to know how long that will be though! Depends on the crypto market in general and the play2earn market. I'd be surprised if it doesn't increase in the future, just may be a year or two. If you don't have a great deck now you could sell it now and build it into other cards and decks. Just depends on what your goal is.
Being in Silver League, even I don't think it's worth renting to Gold League every day. Getting to Silver League with 15k CP is the standard. Don't be too greedy and be happy with DEC rewards. Converting SPS to Credits will allow us to buy more cards as the Voucher airdrops have been nerfed in Phase 2. Not financial advice.
no you have to get the spellbook at least for $10. I'm doing a series right now of $11 to $1000. It's going to be a long grind for sure but I know it's possible to do with long term vision.
thanks Luke~

The point of renting is to quickly jump to higher ranks where the payout gets exponentially better.

Starter card is really good. Not as I expected in the early release. Its like playing rock paper scissors.
Your opinion sir, Is it better to sell legendary goilfoil or hold it? Can the price of LGF increase in the future?

is it actually possible to earn money with out paying in Splinterlands?
