Adrian Vandenberg had some of the most melodic and beautiful solos and fill work. I loved it then and love it today. Truly a very underappreciated guitarist.

I fixed a Marshall amp a couple of times for him for the Whitesnake recordings in 1989. The third time he brought it in himself and made me demonstrate it was working after fixing it again. I played a few bars of this while he was standing there. My fingers were like rubber bands. Hell of a nice guy, though. Ended up he got a bad cabinet from Slash and I had to contact Slash for Adrian to get why it was blown. I ended up selling Adrian my Marshall head for a couple of Peavey VTM amps for my rig. I miss those days.

The mid to late 60's to mid 70's was my preteen through my teen years, so that music influenced me the most and I loved it!
