True, but I don't think he'll stick to that dogmatically, particularly when it comes to substitutions. If we're not creating anything in games, I expect he'd switch it up and throw on a winger instead. Additionally, if Shaw/Malacia aren't fit enough or they get injured again, you'll probably see wingers get game time then as well (unless he decides to promote Amass).
It will mostly be game to game, against opposition where we can dominate, I think the wing backs will be generally the wingers but against opposition where they could attack the flanks, we need defensively sound players there

Hojlund is bang average. Marcus is the better ball carrier. As a wide player approaches 30, they do not want to keep running down the flanks. It’s easier to train a 27 year old on how to play with his back to goal vs teaching a 22 year old how to improve his first touch and maintain his balance.

We could see Mazraoui playing as a LWB, as Amorim prefers a right-footer on the left and vice versa. His ability to use both feet is advantageous, and the LWB tends to be more defensive than the RWB. I expect to see him at RWB and sometimes RCB; a quality player of his calibre can't be left out.

I love the videos but I feel this one was well off. Describing Casimiro as a "box to box" midfielder is stretch at best. His loss of mobility is quite easy to identify. Malacia has been out for nearly two years, I can't see him being anything but a bit part player for some time.
Would be some call to throw Malacia into the side on Sunday after 18 months out. I could more see him playing against Bodo. If the LWB is a right-footer I'm not convinced he'd suppliment that with another right footer in that left 10. Makes me think we might see Mazraoui on the LWB and maybe Amad plays at the left 10. Similar to how Trincao has done at Sporting, player with a similar profile to Amad and history of playing on the right at Braga, but Amorim used him left.

Makes me laugh. People have been overrating Dalot for sometime now. But as soon as he hit's a patch of bad form. Everyone seems to have written him off as a certain starter at Wing-back under Amorim. When his defensive work was always his main issue. So isn't a Wing-back in 3-4-2-1 the perfect position for him to thrive. Less reliance on his defensive contribution. More freedom to develop his attacking aspects of his game. Develop more qualities of a "Winger". Plus now with Winger's as option's at WB. Dalot wont need to be overplayed. He will now have more healthy competition. Rotation is now finally possible. I don't see how Dalot can fail to get selected. Especially with the Portuguese connection being a factor.
