In fact, Mao did not try to limit the population of China. On the contrary, he said that Chinese families should grow without limit because the world could support up to 50 billion people. It was only after Mao died that the government threw this policy into reverse in an attempt to avoid overpopulation. China has spent massive amounts of money on bureaucrat model projects, almost all of which are colossal failures. A proper form of government funding such as property taxes doesn’t exist in China. Instead growth with stimulated by levying taxes on new construction. To keep local governments running they had to stimulate super growth in construction. Now construction has collapsed and local governments are bankrupt. This does not bode well for the future, by any means.

Deceptive video. Your 2057 date already happened in 2017 40 years early. China already overtook america and the world since 2010 30 years after its succesful heist of world technologies and world market share selling 10x more copycats than the foreign originals. they trapped foreign capital and factories with the lure of cheap chinese labor in the 90s knowing they get to keep all that investment once the foreign companies realize they’ve been royally scammed. Which was too late. Not one case for proven patent theft cent was paid or caused to be pay by chinese courts. Now it is a free for all outright piracy of any american japanese or european invention science or technology after most of the west have sobered up and left leaving all their products patents factories technology and assembly plants abandoned and stolen further. Each day passes that is another day china makes 99 percent sales while the rest of the world has to share the 1 Percent in global market shares of yes, everything, from paper cups to power generators, from nails to rocket ships. As sure as the sun rises tomorrow china again will outsell the world 100 to 1 in everything and anywhere from amazon to alibaba. So dont give us this bullshit denial that we still have the upperhand in economy and warfare and have until 2057 to enjoy it. We are the ones behind and eating their dust in the race to number one which we have lost already for a decade now because of useless and selfish occupation with tired issues like artificial racism gender pronouns abortion and other wasteful matters meant to distract by the democrats from the real problems they cannot solve like poverty and job theft by illegal immigrants.

Years ago I was shocked that the Chinese people wanted landscape like the West, with the skyline faced with skyscrapers and cement and ugly. I was in Hong Kong and China mainland during the early 60's, before tall buildings. Besides the poverty, it was mysterious and different than what I was use to. The smell of spices wafed through the air in Hong Kong near The Tiger Balm Gardens and the ma and pa tea shops sold hundreds of types of tea. There were master craftsman selling their products, like the suit makers. Remnants abound from the past, silk and ceramics for sale that I have today.. I feel that the culture has changed probably because I am old and just reminising the past through some filter. This post is just a glimpse from someones memories .

Some economists have projected that both the U.S. and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2023. A global recession, defined as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because China and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.

Many? Really? and I said before "an insult is not a substitute for an argument" so why insult this person. You didn't bother to make a video showing valid arguments for this premise. If I went to my job and asked maybe 50 people about China and its population problem none of them would know what I was talking about. They'd laugh at me. I actually dare you to do the same. Right now...just ask 50 people you know if they know about China's problems. None even realize how China uses social credit. So yeah, some people are talking about this...but not MANY. And certainly not enough.

Any nation worrying about their native-born population trending down (like the USA) can make their country attractive to immigration. Uncontrolled/illegal immigration in numbers too high to handle creates horrible problems, but receiving foreign-born adults capable of working are a sweet deal for the economies of prosperous "destination nations".
Nations such as China and Japan are quite racist and resist foreign-born immigrants in numbers that could fix their demographics. The USA has immigration policies and enforcement that are far too loose and permissive. Any nation that can create a balanced immigration policy, refusing entry/deporting criminal immigrants while welcoming vetted and work-ready immigrants in reasonable, manageable numbers will benefit greatly if their birthrates fall significantly.

If we go to 60% tariffs on China, it will make their economy weaker. Which means it will make their workers work for less. Which means the Chinese can make a product for less than American workers who make an average of $41 an hour.
The problem with this is tariffs will limit us to sales almost entirely in North America. Which is now 21% of the total world's economy. And the largest economy by region.
However the tariffs will also mean China can sell it's products to 79% of the World. The US only to 21% Ask any global company if they'd prefer a 79% market share or a 21% market share. I know many Americans will say this is not true. The problem is Germans, Russians, Brazilians and all the rest of the nations of the world will not go to the store and say I'll buy a lawnmower make in the US and pay half again as much just to help the Americans out.
If you think most shoppers don't buy the cheapest product, of equal value, instead of the most expensive, then try selling new iPhone's overseas for $3,000 each when they can buy a Samsung just as good for $1,200. You think people in other nations will care about how you feel when they pull out their wallet to pay for something? (An aside, I posted this before and about half said yes, people in other nations would still buy American products costing 50% more, of equal value. For their sake, I hope they never go into business for themselves.)

Quite a good video, but I would suggest it also failed to include the "me too" copycat tendencies or mentality which exist in successful industries. On a much smaller scale this was seen in Taiwan, and years ago I predicted this would happen in China once housing projects started gaining popularity ... one big reason is failure or dismissal of the need to do a comprehensive business plan and spending resources on R&D.

Trading with an expert is the best strategy for beginners and busy investors who have little or no time to monitor their trades.

I think all you need is an expert assigned by a brokerage company that will trade for you and handle your capital professionally and give you weekly returns of investment Without any extra fees attached

you haven‘t been to china.you‘re talking nonsense. A good blogger should be objective and impartial ,rather than making a program just by finding some material

Yet how many Chinese offer their opinions on the West, particularly the United States, without having been there either. You can read all about it in this video's comment section alone. "A good blogger should be objective." A blogger isn't a journalist; there is no standard for reporting; he's a "RUclipsr." What'd you expect? This platform is predicated on sensationalist content. Besides, if he is able to garner an audience and make money via ad revenue, then he's better than the Han that lives in China or the Han that HAS to leave for the West just to have a life where one isn't religated to abject authoritarianism.

Quoting Musk is a giant mistake. Not only is he almost always wrong but it's just foolish to listen to anything he has to say.

Having Musk in the video plus using an incorrect map of China that included Taiwan was pretty off-putting.

The basic ingredient of a great country is its abundance in natural resources (primary products, though not production). Whichever country has that, has the "potential" to develop into a powerful country - or be prone to (open to) exploitation by more vigorous country or countries. China has them & was a victim of Japanese Imperial expansion till the other Imperial powers, on the horizon, took over.
From ancient times, population was considered as an economic resource & was so, even after industrialisation. Population was & is never a problem, if it is known how to "use" it. Population is both an Economic input for production as well as the market (consumer).

A lot of their buildings are empty. They make the people buy their homes before they can live there. The people can only invest in real estate, so their economy does not help people. In fact, unemployment is 25% among young people, so they don't have enough to achieve anything.
