All this fanciness, I had a $40 ViaAqua return pump that ran literally 14 years. Cleaned maybe twice. Only stopped working AFTER I took it out, let it sit uncleaned and replaced it with some fancy dc controllable pump but I don't think ANYTHING built now has the durability of equipment built then. I only bought it for flexibility so I can run a sterilizer or other equipment without having to change pump size
This is so helpful am learning a lot
Am learning water quality heater then pump then leak detection
Great information thanks

Would like to see a comparison between the Apex and GHL Profilux.
I have done a whole series on it :)
I've seen the optical sensors pointed up and pointed down. When do you have it pointed up vs pointed down.
Functionally speaking, it doesn't matter either way. The tip of the OS-1 is where the sensor will read.
It's a good video, but my eyes glazed over about half way through, Al. 😂.
Too bad the apex flow sensors always seem to fail on me and stop working
Calcium will coat and toast a pump if dosed wrong.
its a shame we get the bum deal in the uk with no power monitoring, Neptune simply don't care about the European market it seems.
In other words. Buy an apex. Saving my pennies for one.
Why all the dislikes?
Lol my COR20 leaked right out of the box.
Sorry to hear that. If you haven't already, just reach out to Neptune Systems and they should be able to help get you back up and running
