This is cool to see on here. This city is my home (has been all my life). My family members are the ones who started this restaurant years ago. Unfortunately the man who started it and was the cook (my uncle) passed away in recent years. It’s awesome to see people are still enjoying the place ❤ appreciate you stopping by our small town
Sorry to hear about your uncle. From what I hear it's a very popular spot still! I grew up down in brownstown so I'm familiar with the area. Thanks for checking out the video!
I moved to Florida over thirty years ago from the Detroit Burbs and almost forgot about almond chicken. My parents used to order this for us when we were growing up. It looks so awesome. I need to fly back there someday, just to order this....and of course some sliders and coneys. Love your channel. I've been binge watching it.
@@kalexander20/ I’m in Florida too: they use to have A Coney Island down near by Boynton Beach: but I haven’t seen know good Chinese joints down here at All
You still gotta try Wong Fu Wah in garden city for their almond chicken with yellow gravy. My man I’m glad you listened and found some other places that serve yellow. It’s sooooo hard to find. Now there’s 3 I know of because of you. This place, wings and new Hong Kong. My man!
Okay, I've heard people in Ohio say that they have it down there too. I guess it's not real common around the rest of the country. Thanks for checking out the video ❤️
My biggest issue is listening and watching him eat…I have to fast forward over all the chopping and lipsmacking because it’s like nails on a chalkboard 😳😂 Next time I’m down towards King road (60 miles away) I’ll try the almond chicken
Please check out, Burger One in southgate!! 15300 Pennsylvania Rd. Southgate MI 48195 (Inside the marathon gas station across from Gabriel Richard High School) amazing burgers and milkshakes!! Chicken is great too! Would love to help get their name out there.
I did a review at the one in Trenton at the beginning of the year. I'll have to check out their new location. I really liked the other one. Thanks for the recommendation!
Almond Boneless Chicken. General Tso’s Chicken and Orange Chicken are not authentic Chinese dishes. Tasty, but definitely not authentic. I suggest visiting Kung Fu Bros (Westland) or Best China (Canton). If seeking authentic Indian (vegetarian) food, consider NeeHee’s (Canton).

It was really good! Do they have a similar dish down that way? Thanks for checking out the channel ❤️
@@DetroitFoodReview No. I wish. Food in the Detroit area is way better.

Chinese food next to a liquor store yes please😂
Being a Detroit survivor, I thought the restaurant was inside the store for a minute 😂😂
Looks great!
It did look like it was in the liquor store when I pulled up! 😂 Was some really good food in there! Thanks for checking out the video ❤️

I need to make my way out there still! Right on brother. I'm glad you found some different spots to get that gravy!
Never been there. We always went to a place on 15 and Stevenson hgwy called Mon Jin lau in Troy.

Don’t forget to add Chinese hot mustard to your egg roll
I do love some hot mustard! Some of that stuff can get pretty strong! Thanks for checking out the video!
Please do a review on China Star on Fort Street. Keep up the good job 😊
I'll have to give that one a try. I've drove by many times. Thank you and thanks for the recommendation! ❤️
Kwan’s chop suey in Woodhaven is a good place!
I have not tried that one! Thank you for the recommendation! ❤️
Check out lotus pond on the Eastside
Thanks for the recommendation!
Do you ever get out to the east side, like St. Clair Shores or Mt. Clemons area?
I haven't yet. Mostly the Downriver area at the moment but I'm going to be going all around in the future.
I’m waiting on him to review the East Coast, all that west side shit ( well reviews )
Here in lansing we have almond boneless chicken

I’m kinda worried about ya buddy. 2 vids in a row with no fries? 😂
I know I've been craving some fries lol I should have asked if they had them. That would have been fun to try fries from a Chinese place!
The general looks like sweet and sour with heat.
It did have that deep red color. The heat was there though! Thanks for checking out the video!
