Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh

Unnao is a city on the Gangetic plains of North India- which lies between Lucknow and Kanpur - is the headquarters of the Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh. Around 90% population is dependent on onsite sanitation systems. These systems are desludged by using vacuum tankers and transported to FSTP which is located at the periphery of the city. The designed capacity of the FSTP is 32 KLD.

Why so much machinery when the whole process can be done without it in natural way, install a stp instead if u need such machinery, the purpose of FSTP is to reduce machinery and opex cost
