Thanks . You’re owed a Camberwell carrot !!
Love in Space is like final episode of the trilogy of classic live projects. Space Ritual, Live Chronicles being the first two. Love Ron Trees interpretation of Robot. I wonder if there are any decent recordings from the Machine Stops tour.
My favourite band Hawkwind ❤️ my favourite album is in search of space
Cool, thanks for watching
Space Ritual beats Live Chronicles by one point and that was a critic's view on that subject, Hmm. Let's give it another listen... I stand corrected.
Thanks for watching and commenting
live at the bbc 72 has an awesome version of born to go and love in space from the 90's is great too , both are in my top ten live !
Yes love both them versions
Hey man, I think your choice of all the live albums is a bit foreseeable and apparently ... too much stuff from the 70s ... I miss one of the best: Hawkwind 1997, from Voiceprint (CD release only) ... one of their best line-ups EVER
yeah....that 1997 one should be reissued and made available again....
Thing is '70's Hawkwind is classic Hawkwind.... They still best band now, don't get me wrong.... er, at No.2 I would have Sonic Assassins (from Days of the Underground cd box)... But Space Ritual era Hawkwind is always the Best.
4:00 They renamed the songs so Dave Brock didn't have to share royalties!
dave tight-arse brock....
Yes I heard rather annoying though
Why no mention of the most excellent 'Text of Festival'?
I will ask Elric, maybe he is not aware of it!
@@thegreyman It's a double album. All early live recordings. Sound quality is not great, if it were better it would be imho better than Space Ritual Alive, but at least it exists and thats a good thing, audio like Bring Me The Head Of Youri Gagarin, which came out about the same time.
Hi Chrisgibbs. It's a pretty poor recording although a nice collection to have. I like the live jamming side. It really shows what the band was like in the early days
@@thegreyman I never realised but the first three sides are for Radio One, 2 for John Peel and one for someone else. The fourth side I think is live in Barnstable. Thats maybe why all other releases omitt side 4.
Live chronicles for me.
I'll let Elric know you left a comment mate
@@thegreyman Cheers. Great video.
