I ate 16 plates of different kinds of sushi before. And its very a tasteful meal. Ikebukuro is nearest in my place before. Thank for sharing us this video.😃
I appreciate that you show the whole details from ordering to paying to cashier and that is very helpful . Sometimes buying or eating in a restaurant in other countries can be very intimidating ❤️❤️❤️❤️
They have this restaurant here in the U.S ‘Kura’ and each sushi plate is a certain price I think $2.00, but in the U.S they don’t have nearly as much options as in Japan. They have way more rolls than actual nigiri sushi.
@@Leo-qu2lh Kura in Cupertino, California is now $3.00 per plate... :-( And just to be clear, the japanese one in the video is 100 Yen, which is about $1.
Amaebi is expensive in the US because most shrimp coming into the country is frozen or pre-processed due to the way they're caught. Very few people catch live shrimp and keep them live going to market, so the few that do have to charge high prices.
Quite cheap. There is a Kuro restaurant about an hour from where I live in the US that I like to go to. The price there is $2.60 per plate. I can only wish that I could fill up for only $17.
There are so many things I like about your videos Rion. First of all your lovely personality but also all the places you've shown us, the price of things, cost of travel, accommodation and the names of food and dishes. This will make my next trip to Japan (hopefully in the not too distant future) so much easier.
Rion, I really enjoy your videos and your enthusiasm and energy. I also appreciate that you show the proper way to pronounce some words. Thanks for bringing Japan to us.
Thank you for doing step by step very helpful. Not many show it. Uh! I'm waiting for Kura to open a city close by. There is only 1 conveyor sushi in my state, and it is 4 hrs away. Wish it was this cheap in the state. They make you eat 15 plates to play 1 game ahaha. The food look so good in Japan.
You do great camera work. Appreciate the large white block font with sushi name on screen, would like it on a few seconds ongr. Enjoy so much walking with you and seeing the sights. You have interested me in Osaka, see you there soon!
Thank you for this video,i have been in Japan for many times always want to try Kura Sushi but never have the courage to go there alone, because i have no idea how it works, this insight video helps me a lot and next time i will definitely go to try Kura Sushi!
Hi Rion loved the video Ikebukuro looks like a great place to visit great atmosphere there. The Sushi restaurant looked fun and the food looked delicious 😋 look forward to next video Arigato 🙏👍😀
last time i went to kura in Japan, they didn't have any English so I left. now that I know what to do on the touchscreen, i'm going to try it next time. thanks for the instructional video!
Hello! Decent video ! I've never seen any Japanese who can speak english :D. Thanks for upload great video ! I enjoy watching it ! :D We got different things in Finland. Its really nice to see how things made in other countries ! :DDD
Thank you for sharing such wonderful and informative videos. I always look forward to it. They are all amazing. Someday I will visit Japan and will make reference of all the things you shared. Stay safe and be well.❤
Thank you! I love your videos especially now I don't get to visit Japan 😭😭😭. I have recommended your videos to my relatives and friends who are all fans of Japan 😉 please keep up the good work! 😃
Thank you for this beautiful and mesmerising look of Japan from your perspective. I remembered my visit to Japan back in 2018. You made me nostalgic! And you have got a new subscriber.
I went to Sushiro, also a conveyor belt sushi chain yesterday and I will go again on the weekend. They had a lemon/lime soy sauce which was surprising.
Another great video! Wow that sushi restaurant was so cool 🥰 Thank you so much for sharing all this information…very informative. I appreciate how you do the video while walking…makes the viewer feel like your right there.
I got Pfiser back in January (Jan 15th, and Feb 5th). We were early because my building where I live was on top priority (lots of seniors here). First day after the second dose I was chills then hot, chills then hot, and nauseous. But I feel really good now. I hope you can get the vaccine. My mom doesn't want it.
I really like conveyor belt sushi places because you can try a lot of different kinds of sushi but in New Zealand it’s expensive. One plate is usually $3 or 200¥ so it’s double the price of Kura sushi.
Love this video I am absolutely obsessed with Japan I'm yet to visit but I so want to come to Japan and have sushi from a real sushi chef. New sub here x
Rion, just to give you an idea, I take my wife and sister in law when we go to Hamasushi. We eat about 18 plates. That's what happens when you get older!! Take care and keep up the great work. We also have a Kurasushi in my neighborhood, they are good too!
Watching this at past 10 in the evening is a bad idea… Now, I’m hungry 😂 and I really think that sushi in Japan is cheaper than eating it in other countries. I remembered when my friends and I tried a conveyor sushi restaurant here in PH several years ago, we find it very expensive because per plate is 350 PHP (around 700 JPY) for their regular dish. That’s why we didn’t come back anymore 😂 Definitely I will savour those sushi and sashimi when I visit Japan again * whispers * I cannot wait for that day to come 😆 As always, thank you so much for your hard work Rion! Even you didn’t become a “sushi monster” at least you still enjoyed every bite of it 👍Take care always and God bless! Gao! 🦁 😊 P.S. congratulations on your 81+K Subs!!!! Gaooo! 😊
Conveyor sushi is the cheapest sushi in Japan. But if you prefer to eat the “real” sushi it will cost you almost ¥10,000 per person (or almost a hundred dollar)
Oh my god! Thank you for making this video 💕 when i live in japan I really love to eat at there. My favorite menu is ハンバーグ寿司 🍴 I hope someday I can back again to japan and eat in くら寿司 again ✨
Kura looks like a comfortable place for people who likes to eat alone like me 🤣 thank you for the great video! Keep making these videos please! + actually i really like rain, so when i have the opportunity to come to Japan I'll go when its rainy season
I adore your channel and I love when you upload these kinds of videos where you chow delicious Japanese food 😄 Thank you very much for showing and explaining everything! Hope to visit Japan one day 🤞🏽☺️ Stay safe and Hi from Italy!
So fun to see so many unique dishes through you, cuz I’d probably only be able to eat 5-7. 😅 If I went out for a nice lunch with friends, the cost would be similar, so for sushi, not bad.
That is the beauty of a conveyor sushi restaurant though. You can try so many different things, since you only get a few pieces each. Going to other sushi restaurants you have to buy it by the roll normally, and mostly only offer a few kinds of nigiri. That same price would have been only a couple of rolls.
Nice food! Will try when I’m able to travel again. I have go my vaccinations done in May. But we are still advise to practise social distancing and putting on our mask. However, I’m happy that I got mine done and somehow I felt safe too. So you stay safe too!
I was eating 100 plates,,,, in my dream 😂😂😂
How many plates do you usually eat at conveyor sushi restaurant 🤔?
100 plates and yet you have n belly, you are like a super model
Usually 10-15
I ate 16 plates of different kinds of sushi before. And its very a tasteful meal. Ikebukuro is nearest in my place before. Thank for sharing us this video.😃
Two plates of inari sushi enough to make me full.
I love eating at conveyor sushi, I typically eat about 8-12 plates. But, more towards 20 when I am hungry and eating with good company. 😊❤🍣
I appreciate that you show the whole details from ordering to paying to cashier and that is very helpful . Sometimes buying or eating in a restaurant in other countries can be very intimidating ❤️❤️❤️❤️
what a steal compared to prices in the US. also i love how everything is automated because i'm a recluse! thanks for sharing.
They have this restaurant here in the U.S ‘Kura’ and each sushi plate is a certain price I think $2.00, but in the U.S they don’t have nearly as much options as in Japan. They have way more rolls than actual nigiri sushi.
I eat at Kura sushi all the time in California.
@@marcbayarea1980 it’s so good, but doesn’t have as many sushi options as compared to japans kura
@@Leo-qu2lh Kura in Cupertino, California is now $3.00 per plate... :-( And just to be clear, the japanese one in the video is 100 Yen, which is about $1.

Totally makes sense🤔 Arigatoooo Robert😊
17 dollars of sushi, "that's expensive!"
That's one special sushi roll in the US, or like 6 pieces of salmon 🍣
That's consider cheap for the choices & selections. Going to the cheapest chain here would cost about SGD50 for the same plates of the lowest prices.
Quite cheap. There is a Kuro restaurant about an hour from where I live in the US that I like to go to. The price there is $2.60 per plate. I can only wish that I could fill up for only $17.
I laughed when he said that it was expensive. I spent £30 the last time I went here in the UK and didn't get even half what he did :(
