This lawn was much better than the 2 other ryobi mowers, though i think depends on size of the lawn. Mine bigger than yours, so sometimes i have to use two large ryobi batteriers depending on how thick the grass gets. Still does good job in my opinion, luckly since have other ryobi tools got few backup batteries i can use.

Thanks for the kind words. I have a few videos ready to go soon. Home Depot didn't let me affiliate with them, I wanted to offer a discount to the lawn mower, but they said no! :( If you search their site for "40V Brushless 20 in. Cordless Battery Walk Behind Push Lawn Mower with 6.0 Ah" you should find the same one I bought. Also look for the free one hour charger, you have to mail in for it, but it's worth it if you ever need to charge the battery in a pinch.
It was selling for the lower price and the day I went in it was $400...It goes toward my perk points, so.
How big is your yard? I'm considering getting the current model. I don't mind having to fast charge to finish the last bit. I usually take a couple breaks with a gas mower in addition to the fill up stops.

On that little skimpy lawn the Ryobi better be better.....stop by my house, lawn full of no grass, 1 to 2 foot thick weeds, 1 month growing worth in summer....I stick with my gas mower....

No cranking the motor. No smells. No old gas cans. No oil. Lightweight. Electric is the way to go. But I'd go with a larger 40v version from Ryobi....
What you dont get is the batteries have to be replaced regularly!! And dont last! Also battery mowers dont give a good cut like a gas mower!!

My snowblower battery would not start charging until it cools down, so it's more like 3 hours to recharge.
