Mower worked great for two weeks. I could get about 90 minutes run time on a full charge. Until one of the battery packs failed. I've been approved by Ryobi for a warranty replacement as of August 1st and was told 10-14 days. It is now September 1st. I've been getting nothing but the run around. I've had to contact customer service going on five times now. The first time I was told it would arrive by the end of the week. Didn't happen... The next time I was apologized to and was told it would be shipped out first thing in the morning and I would get an email with the tracking number. Didn't happen... The next time I was told the associate was out to lunch and was dropping the battery to be mailed out. Didn't happen... The next time I was told the associate was out of the office for the day and would be back tomorrow. The next time (today, Friday) I was told the associate was out of the office and would be back Tuesday... Mower works great, but apparently Ryobi doesn't support their products so I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing a Ryobi 80v mower.
It's not Ryobi's fault, at least not directly. Home Depot Online is the WORST for after-sales service, delivery promises and follow-through. I've had so many items mis-delivered, not delivered, delivered in pieces. HD uses the lowest-bidding logistics companies, and these companies certainly don't care either. Ryobi's blame falls to their having signed an EXCLUSIVE deal with HD to sell their products. THAT kills competition. THAT is just plain wrong.
I'm really hoping Ryobi will go for making a GE ElecTrak like version of this, front and rear mounts with electric "PTO" points where you could mount anything from a front mount deck or snow blower to a rear mount tiller. I'd sell my soul for that.
These are much better than the MTD options for electric yard tractors. These have great utility! I'm not completely on the electric bandwagon yet... but I would give these a second look!
Need one with all wheel drive and a front end loader. Maybe even a back hoe. That'll actually cover everything a home owner could need, and it's something that isn't offered anymore. I need a small front bucket to move and lift stuff with!
@@jordanharetuku9044 just do it. Ok do i cant afford the much higher cost now, some people they are in their price range now but if you just did it then it would not be in their price range and they could not afford. Offering both versions is more expensive because it is more cost effective to say make 100,000 of something than say 75,000 of one thing and 25,000 of something else. Eventually we will get there. Right now they are still prototypes. I believe the future versions will not use lithium batteries but something better and more appropriate for the application. Lithium batteries are a terrible battery for electric vehicles and power equipment, but right now its the best we have. Hopefully not for much longer. They are working on several different lithium battery replacements right now.

Finally! Good stuff Ryobi.

Needs to be priced similarly to the Cub Cadet XT-1
I totally need this🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Please bring these to Australia PLEASE
Wow, this tractor is perfect for folks that have a yard AND garden! Very impressive as we move to carbon free technology!
bro, recently found your site and loving it! like the shirts too!
You are not smart
Love your channel! I subscribed
Keep dreaming, it’s carbon free not!
Can I drive the lawn tractor with the deck off? Often times I just need to tow things around the property and would prefer to not have the deck on.
Nice. If only I hadn’t purchased your zero turn mower last year I’d buy this in a skinny minute
Oh, wow! Very nice!
Is this coming to Australia?
When will these be available in Canada?
I am waiting for them to add a loader bucket option.... its ryobi theyll do it eventually. Ill buy one then

Yep. Yep! Maybe a ditch-witch, shovel, wanna get fancy a snow thrower and I'm done.
Is a 110 outlet in the future for these mowers?
So that you can use it at remote locations for a power source or back up power for your home like fridge or lights.
All that black would absorb all the sun heat.
hard to tell if the tractors are big or the salesmen are small... is this equivalent to a husqvarna lt series or larger?
Mower is quite large and oversized compared to other tractors. I'd sit up about 8-12" higher than my current John Deere 42" gas mower.
Have to day ryobi did it again. Nice
Nice
Sooo expensive tho 😢😢😢
Tractor?
Send me one to test/review. 7 acres of Florida bahia.
Now... i have to buy one and I'm NOT happy about it. My Ryobi 48v rider died after 2 years and i was told to kick rocks on the warranty. 😢
Because you were using it commercially, no doubt.
@@CowboyPants-h5p what would make you think I used it commercially? My yard is less than an acre.
🤔how will a battery last before needed to be replaced. Have seen some unhappy owners of the 80V mowers
Hey would you even buy one of these
EGO has come out with a lawn tractor.
Yes, and it’s unobtainable so far.

Why do manufacturers only go for equivalent specs. Can someone actually over engineer these things so they're far better than petrol 🤔
because you think there expensive now... If they did that it would cost much much more.
Just do it, because the stuff they're coming out with is only top of the line residential machinery. Cover the commercial guys, then work backwards😉
