Aw thank you, this is really sweet. This is definitely something I've been wanting to do for many years, and I FINALLY got to make this happen. I really can not have done it without you guys💓 Thank you guys a MILLION times, and I love you guys so much!!
VW campers are such a fun project to do! The previous owner looks to have taken very good care of it. Can't wait to see future updates on your crafting car!
You might be able to attach the tent to your camper. I’ve seen some online do this. Please make sure that your fridge is unplugged, the top is a freezer and you don’t want all your paint brushes to be frozen solid 😂
Ever since I was young, there was a rolling boutique (that is now gone) next to my house, I thought of bringing it in my house and decorating it into a little clubhouse. That dream is still inside me. You made my dream but a little bit different and I am so happy.
Wow. So adorable. My husband had one when he was a teenager in the mid 70’s. I love this. It’s so Boho. The fridge - what a great idea for storage. Enjoy.
Since the fridge is brand new, i think it would be really good if you sold it and bought a really nice shelf for craft storage instead!! Keeping it as a shelf seems too much of a waste
Agree 100% with this comment! That is a beautiful little fridge and should be used as such. It is not going to make a very practical craft storage unit either.
I grew up around these Vans as a kid and have owned a 1975 hardtop for 20 years since I was 18! They are a piece of history and it's so nice that you got one that was so nicely restored inside! I can tell by looking at it that it's an early 70s van. The big stick shift is really satisfying and I'm sure you'll get a hang of it soon. Be sure to be easy on the transmission as you learn the clutch, it is old after all, and I'm not sure what condition your engine and trans are in but if it has been restored inside like that I would hope that they would have been looked over nicely or maybe even rebuilt. It would be to your benefit to ask the person who you bought it from if they know any good sources of local mechanics who can help you when it needs maintenance because you cannot take it to just any garage. Please be sure to learn basics though, like how to check and add oil ( because old cars like these tend to eat oil a lot quicker). Knowing how to take care of a car like this will avoid dangers or avoidable issues. Thankfully VW buses have a big Community online and you can join a group or ask questions on message boards if you need help. The knobs that you were not sure what they did next to the speedometer are for controlling the air and heat. Cars like these do have heat that is brought up to the front from the engine and the knobs control if it comes out at the top for defrosting or by your feet. The air is of course not air conditioning as you know, but will open up vents that let air in from the front and will blow out on your face, though the Triangular vent windows on the sides usually do a better job of this. Also it is totally doable to put in curtain rods on these hardtop models. I screwed some into my own bus and it is really fun to make your own curtains! I know I wrote a lot but basically enjoy your beautiful bus and make it your own. With good maintenance and knowledge, it will give you lots of good memories and nice trips!
I love the Craft VW Van so amazing, i too have never seen anyone use a fridge freeze as a art box/container. Cant wait to see you going around Japan crafting and selling your art. Minori i love it 🚐🎨🧵🧶💴✏🖌🖍💖💖XXXXX
I love old cars! Wagoneers and woodies are my favorite. I also love the hippy vans, they have such personality. Your car is on that list too, I don’t know what kind it is but I want it so bad 💕 The funny thing is I actually wanted to get a car like that and turn in into an art van one day! Great minds think alike
That's an awesome van and you did a great job converting it. I've never seen a crafting van before, but it's totally cool. As far as learning a manual transmission goes, it seems very intimidating at first, but don't let it beat you. It's one of those things that just "clicks" after some practice. It's a weird feeling because you are driving with both feet a lot of the time. Just remember to ease on and off the clutch, no need to go hard or fast. Also, you don't have to downshift through all the gears when slowing down, I thought you did at first and that caused me a lot of headaches. I would just find an empty lot or field where you won't bother anyone or be in traffic. You'll probably stall out a few times, but stick with it!
That is the cleanest and most beautiful and well kept vintage van that I have ever seen as a used vehicle. You truly scored with that one. I am happy for you.🤩😍❣️
The editing, the creativity, the humor-everything about this video was perfect. You really have a knack for keeping your audience entertained, and I’m so grateful for the positive energy you bring to this platform.
Hiii! I really love your videos! I got inspired by you to start diamond art painting! I really liked your methods so i used them, though i couldn't find that tray shelf(can you please tell me where you got it?) Well I love your drawing videos and i was wondering if you could do a basic sketching tutorial, Ofcourse dont stress yourself out, but i definitely think that many of us would like to see it. Btw love the camping car! ❤❤
My mom use to have a car like that, it was under our carport for years sadly because it broke down and we had to eventually sell it for more room. I love seeing how you gave almost the same car a new life! It looks amazing! 😻
Cool Van!. VW's can be retrofitted to have ac(they do it in the US). I don't know if anyone in Japan can do it, so you will probably have to do a lot of research(start with automobile air conditioning shops). Also, those old VW's tend to be underpowered when going up steep hills or on the freeway, they don't handle very well & burn oil, so be careful when driving it & you will be fine(afterall, it's like 50 years old). But once you take it out & hit the road, you will get so many people who will come up to you & tell you how much they admire your van. It's then you realize it was all worth it....😁
This is my dream car! I would have to put long shaggy carpet all over with big lime pillows.... some.paisley 70s curtains and seat covers. You need some eye lashes for the headlights too!!! Girl, this is too much fun!
This is literally the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m so inspired as an artist and crafter too. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I look forward to seeing more of your work and adventures!!! ❤
Minori! My 7 year old daughter LOVES your crafting videos. She watches them with the Japanese subtitles on. Thank you and I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors. You have a family of subscribers here!
Aww cute van. Btw those little windows up front were "vented windows" used to create a breeze. As more and more vehicles came with air conditioning fewer and fewer came with vented windows. I remember them in my grandad's car.
Very cool! Loving this! Those type of camper vans are so neat. Could envision just going on the road & bring my fur family w/me & just enjoy what we experience as we travel. Thank you for sharing. Look forward to vid from your craft van. 🙂
I live in the country where this car came frome and I can say I'm always excited when I see someone driving a car like this not sure if it's already a oldtimer but I absolutely love it 😂 me and my mum often tried to win a car like this (but a newer version) when we saw a opportunity, cause it's looks sooo cute 😂 but for now we live with the Playmobil version of this beautiful car 😂
The fact I also did diamond painting a few days ago it came from my teacher, it was a gift of a diamond painting and it was obviously sooooo much fun I enjoyed it
This is totally awesome 🎉🎉🎉 This is one of my dreams too❤❤❤ You got an absolutely amazing van that has been restored beautifully. And I adore your Barbie shirt 🤩🤩🤩

For a 70s van, this was kept in immaculate shape! What a find! I could totally see you doing some art all around the sides of it!

I thought something similar. Remove the fridge and put in shelving
But what if she's traveling one day & needs the fridge for food?

I would love something like this for a fun weekend writing retreat!
A 9070’s Van?! That is a livable RV honestly i would buy it and live in it its adorable ❤❤❤
On the pegboard you can use the wires horizontally to attach things like keychains, it would look so cute when you are on the road and they tingle 💕
I love the creativity. I like how you were able to utilize the refrigerator.
Hi! The van looks so cute and I love it. Minori, the organization of it is astonishing and stunning. 😊

I love what you did with the car Minori you really gave it a more cozy vibe !!!
You can make window decals with puffy paint and a silicone mat. It lasts a long time. So cute….. completely customizable…
But it may or may not work for long term in a hot car. Maybe a good experiment?
i cant help but notice how cute and stylish the car is!!
I want this soooo bad now 😟⛺
lets just appreciate how much work u put into these videos ❤❤❤😊😊
