@MyCancerJourney, I pray 🙏 🤲 that your cancer journey, to remission, is a short and successful one!!! Cancer is such a devastating disease; I am sorry that you are going through it.
Just a possible suggestion to repair your popup bags, to get more life out of them. I repaired a major split in the bottom of our riding mower catch bag, and it lasted another two years? I used Gorilla duct tape and ran a first layer across the split and a second at 90 degrees to the first. That tape is extremely strong! Really enjoy your videos!
Beautiful as always. For the first time you are actually on the same planting rutine as me her in Norway....Crazy ,but nice for me. Just have to say that you are a big part of me getting my love for flowers and growing back after some time "out". Thank you for that. Have a great day.
While I’m watching you in the morning, you inspire me to get my body moving. So at different parts, I have to pause you, and go out and do something in the yard! Then when I ready for a quick coffee break; I come back in and finish your video. So happy it is spring and I can do stuff. Your mother’s table looked beautiful!
Good Morning Garden Answer Friends &.... Russell...Dear sweet Russell is the funniest cat ever. Love the video share Laura. The chicken Coop windowsill full of flowers so very pretty. Can't wait for everything you have planted from bulbs & seeds thrives & shows off their beauty. Have a great Tuesday all. .
I was so happy to see you still planting seeds in this morning's video. I have some that I need to plant but I kinda thought I was too late in doing so. I'm excited to add starting seeds of Zinna's and cosmos to my "to do list" today! 🙂
Your garden is truly a work of art ❤ So beautiful!!! Although the real beauty is you Laura ! what a shinning spirit that brings so much goodness and joy to so many 🌷✨ Thank you 🙏
I was just looking at all the beautiful pictures on your instagram page....wish I had been more like you at your age and not worried about the kids playing in the dirt and having so much fun....and the picture of Benjamin and Samantha Grace is just gorgeous....you have beautiful children
Laura, you winter patch of lawn was lovely. Samantha belly laughing while blowing bubbles was so cute. Benjamin is such a nice big brother. And now the chickens will enjoy it too. Your pots and chicken window planter are so cute. As always, a delightful, informative video. Thanks so much
Such sweet violas, my favorite spring annual. 🩷💜🤍💛 And what about that lettuce! 🥬 I think your mom’s table deserves a cover shot on a garden magazine! 💚
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 I love seeing how you organise your irrigation supplies. Would love to see an in depth video explaining everything and how you organise and sort it! You have inspired me to start a cut flower garden so I’m looking into all the irrigation now. It’s so exciting.
They did an in depth video on it last year. I think it included the organizing system as well. If not, that was on a separate video. If you scan through last year's, you should be able to find it. 🙂
Awe, come on Laura How do you not love that when Russell struggles for a lil rubbing. He is all up in the mix. Super cute. Love that Russell kitty he is the best. The planters look really fresh and the ones by the Hartley look elegant and yet very colorful. Looking good girl. Can’t wait to see all the color getting ready to bloom. So excited to see all the wonderful color. Love your designs. Have a blessed morning and a great day.
"Romantic notion" lol ... last august we laid sod in the soybean field for Son's wedding. When the Soybeans were harvested my darling husband decided that we needed to lift the sod manually, lay on several skids and redistribute/sell so that he could plant winter wheat right away.
Love the sound of lawn equipment in the distance. I now live near a quarry, and that rumbling/droning sound is actually quite relaxing. Yesterday was the first day I got to garden in three years. I had just been keeping things alive in pots waiting to move, and then had to wait for spring to arrive... It was so cathartic. 😌
Your mom’s tablescape was perfect with the lettuce. So inspiring! Thank goodness you had Russell’s help potting them up. 😂 I love how much he loves you. So sweet!
Spring has finally arrived here in SW MO zone 6b. It looks like we had our last frost this past weekend and now temps will be mostly in the 70s during the day and 40s/50s at night. Plants are really beginning to pop. Daffodils and tulips are in full bloom finally.
I planted my cosmos 2 days ago, next is zinnias 😍 I am a zone 8a in Denmark and our weather has been odd too. It is a long spring for sure, but nice to have extra time to clear and prep the garden 😍🙏 I absolutely love Russell, he is so loving and sweet 😻
Viola’s look so sweet in the planters. Lettuce as a table centerpiece is brilliant, so natural. Worker bee Laura get the jobs done fast & efficient!! Happy Day!
Rose Rim Planters…..unique stone. I love the idea of the lettuce plants in pots. You could put in the lettuce into plastic pots, then sit the pot in the Rose Rim Planter pots. Then give the lettuce as a gift/favour in the plastic pot.
I love that the chickens got some grass today, how spring fun for them. The urns are simply beautiful. I might do that with mine. The Easter table was elegant,as to be expected with your mom, but my favorite was Cheddar helping and then when the work was done, curling up on the chair for a well deserved nap.
Hi Laura! The violas and dianthus look pretty in the pots. You don't have to throw out the violas, just put them in the flower beds. They will self-seed and come back every year. I'm in Nampa and they bloom all summer in my flower pots and raised beds. Your Mom's table was beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
I planted zinnia for the first time last year with the intention of putting them in a huge pot against a south facing wall. Great fun in a condo with limited space. My back bedroom was a disaster and my bathroom counter was covered in dirt, but it worked. I used a small sun blaster covered tray with its own grow light and I had great germination using the Johnny’s seed. I did them again this year using 2” peat pots to avoid the repotting chore as the peat pots are supposed to be able to go straight into soil and degrade naturally. Using a regular tray you can fit 24 pots exactly. Because I have gone a bit insane, I doubled the number this year using two trays with the dome/light set up. Out of 48 seeds, I had only 4 not come up. I re-seeded those and so far it appears only 1 is slow. I am so impressed with this seed brand!
Here in Anchorage, Alaska, I always let a few pansies & violas go to seed and winter-over in my containers, so that I have lots of cute volunteers popping up in the surrounding soil the next spring! ❤
LOVE THE LETTUCE CENTERPIECE! What a crafty, gardeny, idea. And your mom’s BUNNY PLATES. 😍🐇 They are adorable. Where oh where did those come from? Thank you for taking us along today. I’ve been debating when to start my zinnias, and now I will just follow along with you. Not as many of course, but I really appreciated that you did the calculation of how many you would need. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that.
Hi! Just want to say thank you for sharing ideas with us. I transplanted my variegated string of pearls (which I didn't know about until seeing your vlog) into a nice old terracotta pot our mother had, and used your tip on placing the plastic pot in the soil first to form the same size hole for the plant to go into. It made the task so easy! Love seeing your animals and family. Stay safe.
Has to be a first,we had 88 degrees in Minnesota today! 10 days ago we had 12” of snow,on top of already 2 ft. Still on the ground. Enjoy watching you great enthusiasm!
It’s a great song when the rain hits the roof of your greenhouse or anywhere else! Also the sound of a lawn more cutting the grass in the distance, puts me to sleep I love that sound!😅
Each day I look forward to your videos, they are so informative and interesting. I never know what fun topic we will be watching. I look forward to your ever evolving landscape and would love to meet you one day! Hope I win this self watering tiered planter.
The spring pots are so pretty. Your moms Easter scape was lovely. You are both so creative. I can imagine how cozy it is to be in your greenhouse in the rain or enjoying a cup of tea in the Hartley with the sound of rain.😊 Thanks for sharing.
I do believe that Russell would love to have his own channel. He never fails to bless us with his presence. Oh and Cheddar also. Lol. AND…… time to plant!!!!! You go girl!
I can hear the rain!!!! You got in the greenhouse just in time!!!!! I’m happy to see you started Zina seeds indoors-I did in peat pots so I wouldn’t disturb the roots 🙏🙏
That lettuce ❤️ If you ever wondered whether you are an influencer, the lettuce answers that question. Never grown it before, but now, I've just got to. Thank you for taking us along Laura!
Out of curiosity, is that the same kind of grass you plant elsewhere on your property? Could you not use it to fill in spaces where the grass isn't growing like you want or to put in places where you want grass but haven't seeded yet? Edit: But I can understand wanting to give it to the chickens! They deserve some nice grassy snacks too!
That grass is so incredibly healthy!! Your chickens are SOOOOOO well taken care of!!! So many beautiful flowers will be (once again) filling your garden beds!!❤
You never know with Dianthus. Here in Southern NH we got down to -15 this winter and I was shocked when I was raking this past weekend and a bunch of our Dianthus planted last Summer were green and excited to be uncovered and getting that Spring sun. I also discovered some Tulips and Hyacinth we planted after they had gone by last spring were up and ready to bloom. (I think I owe a lot of that to you and your planting tips 😉)
That Russell, was looking for a hug...or a rub, so sweet! Thanks for the seed video on Zinnia's, I was wondering if I missed the window. Hoping I can also start my Pincushion seeds too. Love the window boxes such a beautiful bouquet of Spring. My violas and pansies are still looking happy and not ready to let them go just yet either. The tablescape is beautiful, elegant and an excellent idea. Thank you for sharing such great tips!
Everything is so cheerful in this video...Love the grass idea for kids and reuse for chickens. Wonderful viola colors, beautiful lettuce, hilarious Russel, and gorgeous table scape at moms!
Question??? I live in Boise in the foothills. When can I safely plant Zinnia seeds directly in the ground? The spot I plan to use is near my house so it is a little warmer and protected. Also, can I plant them directly in some pots- large round tubs? I am so grateful I found you and appreciate all your advice and good ideas! You're the best!
We know that Laura has a very green thumb. The lettuce in the gray pots were an amazing sight. So earthy and beautiful! Love the chicken cottage window box too.
I started my poppy in milk containers, I just transplanted them in another container. I just heard your voice for Burnets greenhouse in Salem, CT. for the PW plants. I will be heading there soon I am from this area. Nice job. I would love to have you design my 2 acre lot, We have a clean slate. I love watching you, & your cats.
I never miss a post! Thank you for Garden Answer! Please, Laura, can you tell us how you liked/disliked the paper, seed starting cells? We’re they hard to load with soil? We’re they too flimsy?
Hi! Do you think that someday you might plant your flower seedlings in with the other plants in your garden? Sometimes it's hard to appreciate their beauty when they are lined up in rows. The area that is now the cut flower garden would make a nice Rose Garden, with a lititle reconfiguring so they could all be appreciated too.
Fun video, you accomplished a lot. The planters give your eye a glimpse of spring. The zinnias will be glorious in your cutting garden. The lettuce is perfect for your Mom's tablescape. The chickens 🐔 love their grass. What a great day.
Good morning Laura! Loved the Spring containers and who knows the weather may hold out for you to enjoy them longer than you think. Using the lettuce for table decorations was brilliant! Hugs from N.C..❤️
Yay! It’s time for Zinnias! Such an easy crop to grow. I enjoyed delivering a vase full of fresh zinnias to our offices here. It sure brightens up the mood!
Your Mom's tablescape was gorgeous!! Who woulda thunk lettuce could be so elegant!
@MyCancerJourney, I pray 🙏 🤲 that your cancer journey, to remission, is a short and successful one!!! Cancer is such a devastating disease; I am sorry that you are going through it.
So beautiful. I had to rewind it several times to take in the details. The bunny plates and green and gold chargers were everything ❤
I loved this- I would love to see how you guys organize your vases/ antiquing finds!❤
Russell was REALLY wanting some love😂. The lettuces are beautiful!
Just love how Russell wants to help and be apart of everything 😊
Wish we could see him get a cuddle he desperately wants
He probably gets cuddles when she has extra time relaxing in the greenhouse. 🤗
Putting the lettuce in those concrete planters was taking your mom's phrase 'romancing the ordinary' to new, higher levels! Absolutely gorgeous.
💜💜💜
Just a possible suggestion to repair your popup bags, to get more life out of them. I repaired a major split in the bottom of our riding mower catch bag, and it lasted another two years? 😄👍
😂😂😂 I just love him!
Hahaaaaa!
Right after Bev did her business! 😂 Farm life
I enjoy the cats as much as the planting 😂
While I’m watching you in the morning, you inspire me to get my body moving. So at different parts, I have to pause you, and go out and do something in the yard! Here you go. This should be the video about their drip supply organization.
I love how you care and love your chickens! They sure appreciate the green grass❣️
Thank goodness Russell made a showing today! I'm starting to think this cat wants his own channel! 😂
I think a Russel garden channel is a fabulous idea!!! 🐈😂
With voice overs 😊

What you mean it’s not my channel says Russell 😂
Russell Answer 😺
Your mom's tablescape turned out so pretty. The window box and the flowers in the earns...beautiful.
Loved the lettuce on the Easter table. And I am always up for a seed starting video. :)
Love the vintage look of the dianthus and violas with the chicken curtains! 😊🐔

The grass in the greenhouse looks like Easter grass. Thanks for showing your moms tablescape beautiful so pretty.
Love the sound of lawn equipment in the distance. I now live near a quarry, and that rumbling/droning sound is actually quite relaxing.

Hug your Russell. I just lost my sweet 20 year old Luna. I miss her climbing around getting into what ever I am working on.
The ASMR of chores was so relaxing whilst I was drinking my coffee

I have been wanting a bag like that for long time. Finally got one...even my husband loves it. Thanks Laura... appreciate all you do.
Aren't seeds amazing!!! I'm constantly in awe of the magic of a tiny seed turning into a gorgeous plant!

Love the chicken coop area-that window box is so pretty. Those geraniums look amazing-so healthy.
It's been 70 80 last couple of days. Loving it. Just mulched everything. Love the fresh look.
OH MY GOODNESS… I LOVE Russell. What a sweet boy…nothing like an adoring pet to keep you company! He is a celeb in his own right❤️
Oh wow Laura you never cease to amaze me how hard you work!!! One thing your hard work surely shows and pays off!! I love yalls videos!!!!❤❤

So exciting to see all the spring bursting forth! Your Moms table is gorgeous!!!!
How fun seeing the chickens eat the grass what a hard time digging them out. Love the window boxes and the lettuce table setting good job.
Me, to myself, as Laura picks up the shovel “Ooh, it’s go time” 😂
Yes here in south jersey it's going to be 70 today❤ happy planting.
Haha I say the same thing!
I do believe that Russell would love to have his own channel. He never fails to bless us with his presence. Oh and Cheddar also. Lol. AND…… time to plant!!!!! You go girl!

That table!! So beautiful. I love the idea of using butter lettuce. Would never have occurred to me.
I LOVED your mom’s Easter dinner setup! Soooo cute!! My goal in life is to be more your mom and be ON THEME with all holidays! Lol 😌🫶🏽
Russell is like Mom! Mom! Mom! 😊😊❤❤
Love the planters Laura. Always great to see Russell. The pots for your Moms centerpiece are so pretty. Love and blessings 💛🌷💛
OMG you used the word “skosh,” no wonder I like your stuff so much!
Everything is so cheerful in this video...Love the grass idea for kids and reuse for chickens. Wonderful viola colors, beautiful lettuce, hilarious Russel, and gorgeous table scape at moms!
So beautiful!!! Russell just wants to be petted and held. He is so sweet and loving. Beautiful tablescape❤
The shallow urns are really the sweetest planter. Beautiful springtime look!
Question??? I live in Boise in the foothills. When can I safely plant Zinnia seeds directly in the ground? The spot I plan to use is near my house so it is a little warmer and protected. Also, can I plant them directly in some pots- large round tubs?

Oh my gosh... I love those cats. They are so affectionate, especially Russel. So cute. ♥😺
That has to be the sweetest potting up I've ever seen! Those lettuce pots are adorable!! ❤
We know that Laura has a very green thumb. The lettuce in the gray pots were an amazing sight. So earthy and beautiful! Love the chicken cottage window box too.
So delicate and beautiful. Does Aaron make sure you have all the parts needed on your home? That's such a beautiful word ... home.

Fun video, you accomplished a lot. The planters give your eye a glimpse of spring. The zinnias will be glorious in your cutting garden. The lettuce is perfect for your Mom's tablescape. The chickens 🐔 love their grass. What a great day.
That is the most attention demanding cat but I love it. I have no pets but if I wanted one, I’d hope for a thirsty snuggler like Russell.
We have lived in several zones and live in 7b now and I have always planted my pansy's in the fall. I have beautiful color even in the snow.
Beautiful viola containers...love the soft colors by the Hartley..
A very English Cottage Garden look.
Thank you for all you do! You’ve helped turn my “black thumb” into a “green thumb”!
