- The Arrows perform the super rare "Goodbyes (don't bother me)" on their TV series. A regular part of their live show this was the only time they ever performed the song on their weekly telly series.
Composed by Alan Merrill, Jake Hooker and Terry Taylor.
Copyright Ripple Music Ltd. 1976.
Yes, it's the only time the band performed the song on TV although it was a part of their live shows. They recorded a version with Bill Wyman producing in 1977 but that's a completely different track and approach and appears on the Arrows Tawny Tracks album. The backing track used for this clip was recorded the same day as the show at Granada ITV studios in Manchester.England for the Arrows weekly TV series.
What a great band! Only Alan and Terry are still alive.
+bootcords Terry Taylor plays with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings band now.
Tawny Tracks is a fantastic album :)
