- Today we're re-reviewing a 2014 Mustang V6 Track Build! This V6 Mustang has come a very long way with lots of new modifications being added since our previous review. Because of this, I thought that it was time to give this V6 Mustang an updated review! Enjoy this re-review of this 2014 Mustang V6!

I love Annika's car. It really conflicts my mind if I want to get an s550 or an s197 because I just love the body lines of the s197 more. She's awesome for representing that V6's are more than just rental cars.
We like to show the world what these cars are really about!
Mike Halve I like the old school muscle car styling of the s197.. However, the interior is where the s550 blows the s197 out of the water.. If you just want a fun weekend project car s197s are fairly inexpensive.. If you want something you can drive everyday and still enjoy it even when stuck in traffic, s550 all the way. The s550 does everything a car is supposed to do better than the s197.. Just my opinion as a s550 owner who was looking to get a s197 prior to getting my s550 Lol.

I'm thinking of swapping a 3.7 into a sn mustang for it's lighter weight and better drag coefficient. I think this engine with it's light weight and mpg is an awesome combination of daily driver and track car.👍

Shortys help with low end torque and long tubes help with the high rpm range for more speed. Both increase horsepower in different places.

In this video, the car's modifications included the following: Roush Spoiler, Boss 302 Diffuser, RTR Decklid, MMD 551C Wheels, GTCS Dash, Cervinis GT500 grilles and chin spoiler, SR Performance Coilovers, Boss 302 Swap Bars, Custom cut vinyl graphics and roof wrap, Sparco Evo racing seats and brackets, Braum harness bar, G-Force harnesses, 3.73 Rear Gears, Ford Performance rear diff, driveshaft shop one-piece aluminum driveshaft, Boss 302 strut tower brace, OEM window louvers, Roush exhaust.

I believe she purchased it on amazon but it's simply red automotive accent tape.

I was just watching a comparison of a brz and Ecoboost 4 cylinder mustang and they sounded like the Ecoboost was slow and just a daily driver. Is your girlfriend's 3.7 faster than a brz or Toyota 86 around the track? Great looking car 👍

Have you done any weight reduction?
Not much but the stock seats have been swapped for fiberglass seats from sparco which cut a great deal of weight. The back seats and spare tire have also been removed.
Any plans to trim further weight? I imagine it's the biggest hindrance to faster lap times, I think even just the v6 weighs nearly 3500 empty.

They're Konig Hypergram Flow Formed wheels and they do come as 18'
What kind of front bumper does she have
It is the stock 13-14 bumper with the Cervini GT500-style Grilles and chin spoiler with a carbon fiber APR splitter below that which is mounted directly to the frame.
Only good v6 is the 3.7... The rest are horrible
Not horrible, just not exciting. They do their jobs and can be turned into fun cars, they just don't offer anything out of the box.

I've got quite a few videos of it on the track! And yes, it's still an auto and will likely stay that way. It would be too expensive to swap right now even if she wanted to.

HeyThisIsGraham a guy on ebay sells custom paddles and they’re high quality too, your girlfriend should get some because it’ll be easier for track use so she doesn’t have to take her hands off the wheel. I’ll be purchasing a set from them soon and they’re pretty affordable compared to having a shop fabricate some.

This car puts GT’s to shame at the track. The only time that it has trouble losing a coyote is on a straight away due to the horsepower difference; but, once she hits a corner there’s no contest.

Hernandez86 _ I love this argument. Why not a v6? Half of the cars that spank a coyote like a damn newborn even with 20k aftermarket mods packed into it are v6(gt , gtr, I mean hell go 911 turbo for the price point). Personally I like the cornering at low speeds that the v6 offers (nose doesn't try to eat pavement). I like the 2015+ models since they have the independent rear suspension stock. It's entirely up to preference. You want the potential straight line speed or handling? I think the main argument for the v8 is honestly the exhaust note.
