You just had to find a way to say new is better,, it clearly wasn’t!
Right?! It's literally shorter by a few yards and basically the same numbers. Hit more low shots with the 425 and more off the tee and then went "see it isn't as consistent."
Great review. I picked up the 5W SFT but will exchange for MAX. The SFT is so left bias you really need to have serious left to right slice otherwise its a hook machine. I feel from the reviews I have seen, the MAX is the most forgiving for average golfers with moderate swings speeds and like the 425 which I game is a fairway finder but without the explosion aluminum bat acoustics. Ping has a winner and I look forward to even better acoustics and forgiveness across the face going forward for their brand. Maybe not the longest but perhaps the most consistent up the middle driver in 2023 that will keep your drives out of trouble!

Just ordered the G425 Max fairway 3 and the G425 3 hybrid yesterday in Canada. Got a smoking deal since the new models just came out. Excited for them to arrive!

@11:35 - the 425's average negative AoA likely spells the difference in height and land angle , no?
..the 425max is 14.5 standard loft where the 430 is 15 at standard, that could be why the 425 came out just a couple yards longer in the average carry...

Ping is way better when I just practice i use old school ping the Canadian maple old school woods it do make you hit straighter i only just have ping in my bag that 430 is mean as sweet as to hit

Its close enough for the price difference
G425 is still a keeper, unless you jump over to a Cobra LTDx...you'll get another 8-12 yds overall like I did.
There's a couple reasons we don't carry Cobra....
if you want less reliabable and shorter i would say move over to Cobra
G425 seemed a lot more forgiving, straighter.
I mean if you warm up first the first 2 souldnt have counted. its 425 all day in the dat if you hit the 425 2nd

Can y’all do a Paradym vs Rogue ST Max fairway comparison? I can’t find anyone that has done it yet.
The new graphics make the same club perform differently.
Not sure why that 246 was such a big deal to try and make it like it isn’t as consistent. Swing and ball speed were the lowest of all shots. It would have been a 250. That’s a 7 yard window with more average distance. Still would take 425 over 430. Price difference isn’t justified.
425 max much longer but lower ball flight
