Amandine Bourgeois will represent France at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with the song L'Enfer Et Moi.
Born in Angoulême on the 12th of June 1979, Amandine won the sixth edition of Nouvelle Star back in 2008 and released two albums with Sony Music since then. The latest in March 2012 entitled Sans Amour, Mon Amour and her debut 20m² in 2009.
She feels that her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest will be the perfect opportunity to promote her new work. Amandine's music mixes a lot of influences, from English pop to soul and rock with a Motown sound.
For her latest album Amandine Bourgeois focused on a key issue: to ensure that the songs kept it simple, with a melody and meaningful words. She partly recorded it in the Yellow Fish and Abbey Road studios in the UK.
France has won the Eurovision Song Contest on five occasions and was represented by Anggun last year with Echo (You And I) in the Final in Baku.
This is still one of my favorite Eurovision songs.

As an American I loved this song, no translation needed. If there was an English version it would be a top hit here as well in the states.
The title or the English version is : hell and me. The french version is the music or a tv movie.

Love this! She has my vote. I love how France always sends songs that are different. Like back in '94 with Nina Morato. They show courage with their entries and courage should be rewarded.

L'instrumental aurait pu être plus puissant au niveau du refrain, mais sinon, la chanson est de qualité et se démarque des ballades que 90% des participants ont chanté. Dommage qu'Amandine n'ait pas eu une place plus élevée, vraiment. :(

In my opinion France had one of the best songs of this years contest. She or the spanish artist should have won, they had the best songs, even though the fact that the dansk song was also very nice. Anyways, it was a nice show, swedish people are the best, thanks for this amazing song.

I'm English and I LOVE it when people sing in their own languages. I wish all countries would do it. I even wish we could have an entry singing in Welsh or Gaelic or Cornish

You've completely misinterpreted what he was saying. He was trying to say that all these countries, except for Germany, sing in their own language. He was praising all these countries (France, Italy, Spain and the UK) for singing in their respective vernacular, and tacitly disregarding Germany's persistence in performing in English, like so many other countries. He was making a case for countries to represent themselves through their own native tongue.

I think there are a lot of people who would strongly disagree with you. In fact, it would by no means be an overstatement to say that a widely held view is that Latin languages like French, Italian and Spanish sound the sexiest and most romantic.
