- Can you play as a Pirate King in Crusader Kings 3? A true coastal corsair that plunders from the sea, Saber in hand and eye-patch firmly attached? ABSOLUTELY!
In this video, I will show you how How I Played as a PIRATE KING in Crusader Kings 3! By using an overlooked mechanic and a unique decision available for Baltic rulers, called Proclaim Terra Mariana, you are effectively able to play form a pirate Kingdom with access to raiding, longships and ransoming without being a Viking! It will even give you a unique nickname and epithet Scourge of the Baltic!
In this video, Koifish will play as Chieftain Kodere of Curonia, going from a weak and poor Tribal, all the way to a rich and powerful Pirate King! We will make a name for ourselves in the Baltics and beyond through the power of piracy and raiding! This requires no Crusader Kings 3 mods! Even though there are some amazing Mods for CK3 out there, this playthrough guide will show you how to do it without any of them!
I will be using all the tips and tricks and strategies that I went over in my Lifestyle guide series, mainly focusing on Martial and Learning! I'm also playing with all the current DLC, Including Northern Lords, Royal Court and Fate of Iberia!

Anyway There’s a video out there called how to Rollo, basically it’s a exploit to get to play Hrolfr de Normandie on iron man mode by creating a custom character, dying immediately and loading the save and picking him as the new character to play as when he inherits that county
Anyway my idea, as Rollo conquer the duchy of Normandie, become Norman, swear allegiance to France and find a way for you’re dynasty to become Kings of England!!
That would be a awesome play through

Try the decision to form the kingdom of toledo, by doing that you also become able to call the consul of toledo and basically decide the future of the mozarabs
I havent seen any youtuber doing this decision so it would be fun to see you try (for you to for the decision you need the duchy of toledo and at least one other duchy that has a border with it, i like to have cordoba as that second duchy since its a nice holding)

Yo, Koifish, ever thought of making a Himalayas mountain kingdom run? I ask because I was thinking of playing a run starting as Norse and going on an exodus while hybridizing along the way until settling on the Himalayas and sorta recreate Dwarf culture in CK3.

I started playing in baltics in ck2 bcs well.. I'm a dirty balt myself, but without that it feels like it's a good place to easly expand, and since you are tribal you get shitton of troops n stuff + baltic empire is so easy to make

Hey Koifish, How about you play as Sigurdr 'Snake-in-the-Eye' af Sigurdr and form The Kingdom of the North Sea? I had a lot of fun making it, though I did have to constantly race and Sweden over the rightful King of Norway was... but that's nothing a little murdering couldn't solve!

Koifish you pondswimming flipper-flapper, I possess a great wisdom for you:
Use the "find spouse" interaction on a female courtier. Set to matrilineal. Select the guy with highest prowess, martial or other thing you want. Obtain goated council from game start.
Do the same for guys but for a woman with intrigue (if better than any man you get), and then the other women for genetic traits. Those genetically superior kids can make for better councillors and champions, plus you could marry them into your own dynasty to more easily enhance your own dynasty's genetics.
Repeat over the generations for a court full of genetic super-beings, goated champions and councillors.
