I always felt so bad for Joey. He was always so easy going and good-tempered and he always got shafted. Chandler hated the bracelet and made fun of him, chandler kissed his girlfriend behind his back, fell in love with Rachel and she preferred toxic Ross, even offered to marry phoebe so she wouldn’t be a single mom, AND ended up single.

I mean I also have no problem with them wearing matching bracelets but it could be because of 90's culture I guess. At the time, when the media portrays men who display a little bit of "feminine" qualities, (apparently Chandler wearing such a tacky bracelet is automatically considered feminine) makes people automatically assume that he's gay. Or it could mean that because that bracelet was kinda tacky that she could misinterpret him as some "arrogant guy" who shows off his "affluence," which is a turn-off.
