Sadly no there won’t be any content posted for the 2024 season. This was a transition year (not like that 🤮) for me with my jobs. I took a risk and left the mine to work for the concrete company that’s purchasing all of the material you see in my videos. Long story short it didn’t work out and when I went crawling back to the mine to get my job back they (metaphorically) shut the door in my face. So now I’m back in the world of trucking got me an orange 2006 W9 Kenworth (day cab) and have been running stone out of the very mine that I just left 😆 fate has a sense of humor I suppose. I thought about posting content about trucking but I feel that it very saturated and not sure if my format really fits with what’s popular. So in closing I would consider this channel dead unfortunately I plan on leaving it up to answer questions for as long as people are asking but unless there’s demand for truck content I doubt I’ll make anymore videos. Thank you, and everyone who’s subbed, engaged with me via comments or likes and thanks for simply watching. Dumb as it sounds I guess it’s kinda cool I have a video out with a 1/4 million views so that’s something I guess 🤣. Wish you all the best and hope I’ve helped in some small way.
Ironically enough I’m currently driving an end dump semi and looking to maybe switch to wheel loading in quarries or mines, I find going to quarries to get loaded is my favourite part of the job other than driving so I’m figuring what if I just worked there instead 😂
@@kobaltsevenThat’s what my motivation was! As childish as it sounds I always thought the loader man job was cool. They always seemed so chill and everybody always liked coming in and BS’ing with them. Truth be told that guy in the loader whoever he/she may be can really make or break your day as a driver. You get a decent person in there and honestly it can turn running circles in a truck from mind numbing and mundane to fun and halfway bearable. I 100% encourage you to pursue it, little bit of common sense and a decent work ethic and a willingness to learn (quickly) still goes a long way!
This kind of videos It's very useful for people like me, I'm not a operator IRL but I like know where is the swicht gear and so. Quick question, In the last video, I can see a excavator, I think is a cat too but I don't know what model, can you make another video like this? Thanks for your videos and replys!
Hey thanks for the feedback! Yes the excavator on the property is a CAT 345c. Unfortunately the excavator is out of my scope of expertise, so I don't think I'm the right guy to give you a quality walkaround. I've had years in the seat of a frontend loader and dozer but just a months worth of time in the excavator, always wanted to learn and become more proficient with that piece of equipment but its never came to fruition. We have a Kamatsu 500 and a CAT 980H that I would be happy to show you guys if there's interest.
I run a 972M as well I been running equipment at the quarry for a long time . And I really like the 972M My has the auto grease . I seen grease lines on yours Where is your tub located. Mine is on my left rear fender In front of the hyd site gauge. Just wondering You don't look to busy in some of your videos. That's cool I average 125/150 trucks a day not every day but in the summer time we do more The only time I stop is too pee. I enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing and I hope to see some new ones and hope we talk more in the future. Be careful ole bud
Most of these videos were shot on Fridays after the mining crew went home. We run about 350-400 tons per hour plus loading out trucks at 1000 tons per day it'll keep you busy enough. That grease tank on the right rear finder area they sure are nice to have.
Do a video showing how to build a ramp. I’m 2 years into operating these front end loaders and I’m having to build ramps to stockpile I just want a good example of you can
Right now we're in the off season we haven't been mining since early October, so I don't have any material being produced to make a new ramp. However on Monday I'll make a video and show the final results of the season and give you some tips on ramping look for it on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Did you know there is a switch by the steps that can open the door. It’s in the same side door to raise the hood. It’s on the far left. The 982 I operate has it
