Sadly no there won’t be any content posted for the 2024 season. This was a transition year (not like that 🤮) for me with my jobs. I took a risk and left the mine to work for the concrete company that’s purchasing all of the material you see in my videos. Long story short it didn’t work out and when I went crawling back to the mine to get my job back they (metaphorically) shut the door in my face. So now I’m back in the world of trucking got me an orange 2006 W9 Kenworth (day cab) and have been running stone out of the very mine that I just left 😆 fate has a sense of humor I suppose. I thought about posting content about trucking but I feel that it very saturated and not sure if my format really fits with what’s popular. So in closing I would consider this channel dead unfortunately I plan on leaving it up to answer questions for as long as people are asking but unless there’s demand for truck content I doubt I’ll make anymore videos. Thank you, and everyone who’s subbed, engaged with me via comments or likes and thanks for simply watching. Dumb as it sounds I guess it’s kinda cool I have a video out with a 1/4 million views so that’s something I guess 🤣. Wish you all the best and hope I’ve helped in some small way.
Great video! Looking to get into construction and ultimately operating. Hearing you talk about your past experience and knowledge is awesome to know. Always been interested in machines from a young age. Great to get a view into the world.
For some reason the 4K and HD take a lot longer to process and I haven't figured out how to make sure the video waits to be published until said video quality is ready. The video resolution will be in 4K as soon as it's done processing sorry for the bad quality for now!
I could be wrong about this, but when i was reading up on our new 972m (which we mainly use for snow removal) I rember there being a way that you could record the truck loads and then enter in the scale house numbers for the associated trucks and the computer would use that data to help calibrate the loader scales. Might be something worth looking into if you havent already.
@@riddick46 Yes sir you are 100% correct, I did that for about the first 8 weeks about 2 times a week I would do this for every truck load and painstakingly change all the values in the scale manually for better accuracy. If you’re smooth and get a bucket the scales are within 200lbs. But there are so many variables that factor in it’s easy to throw off the weight by 800-1000.
@Krutan_the_Loader_Man That makes sense, sounds like a skilled operator such as yourself is better off just making those calibration in your head. We're finally getting to move some actual dirt with our 972. The main reason we bought that loader is to carry around a 650hp, 18,500lb snowblower. It still almost to small for that. We also got an 18yrd bucket for hauling snow. Thats like driving around with a wall in front of you, you just gotta hope nobody tries to get in your way.
They have a 982M but they wont bring it to me, I like the 972M for a lot of different reasons but its not a very good load and carry machine. Which is unfortunate because load and carry is primarily what I do all day, I need a larger bucket that would make my job so much easier!
Ya it’s not a very good load and carry machine. The WA-500 we got is better but it’s an older model and the ride control doesn’t work well. Feels like I can’t win lol with the cat I couldn’t carry as much but the ride control was smooth and with the WA-500 I can carry more but as rough as the ride is I’m spilling more.
No I haven’t told them, a couple of my co-workers know about the videos but I’m hesitant to tell my foreman. Sometimes in life it’s better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission 😂 I usually try to make my videos when the rest of the crew are busy or I’m the only working at the mine.

👍🏼 which cam do you use ?
The GoPro hero 11 with the head mount on this video and the chest mount on some others.
@@Krutan_the_Loader_Man ah ok thanks I also have a Gopro 8 with a head and chest strap
definitely need a bigger machine, can get 15 ton of road base in one bucket
