Also, I think that Bidoof would have still been there once morning happened again. Bidoof only shows up during the day and disappears at night. I hope you can reclaim it and catch the alpha sneasel soon!

I got really lucky on day 1 of the Legends Arceus release and got a shiny Buneary right before needing to fight Kleavor in the main story. And I was only about 2 hours into the game. On top of being shiny, it's female with adamant nature which is insane. Would be epic if it was alpha, but I haven't been blessed with a shiny alpha yet. Don't think I've seen anyone catch a shiny alpha Pachirisu yet, I have a normal alpha Pachirisu and it's a chonky squirrel
This is cool hunt to do. Also i always try to save a shiny. Yesterday, i almost failed a shiny hisuian basculin and i had to restart 3 times before i finally reclaimed it. I failed it on april fools and it was the only basculin to flee, the others stayed :(
