This summer (southern hemisphere) I will do just that. The interior is a bit of a mess at this time with ongoing prep work / electrical / and other stuff, while I prep for a 5-6 week trip starting at Xmas. Could you show us what's preventing the boom from sliding up the mast.
Lovely! A bit of a pity that the music drowned out the sound of the wind & waves, but that's just a personal preference thing...
Thanks for the tip. When my new/old boat is sailing I will do a bit of each type and see how that plays out.
