I could never get sick from watching this channel. Love that y’all are living your dream. The fascinating people you have on crew, the places you travel, the amazing videography and of course your wonderful boys Lenny & Darwin. For many of us elderly landlubbers, your channel brightens our day.
Never ceases to amaze me, at how hard Elayna works. Videography, editing, music, content. She magically and seamlessly, weaves it all together.Talent beyond measure. Hats off to her.
Nope, definitely not sick of you. You guys are a legitimate force and you’ve changed lives. That’s kind of a big deal. Edit: in answer to answer your final question and because I find myself in that exact situation atm. I’m doing what I’ve always done, make music, take care of my animals and myself and try to help wherever I see a need. I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. I hope so anyway.
2 underrated scenes from this. 1. Riley visited a place called monkey rock without a monkey fight. 2. Your 6pm hosts saw some Aussies and made them shrimp on the BBQ.
Heck, no, we aren't tired of seeing your wonderful videos! I love the way you seamlessly combine vlog style, "natural geographic" style, and storytelling-it's amazing! Thank you for sharing your family with all of us and allowing those of us who aren't able to travel to feel like we are right there with you.
Agree with everyone, can't get enough of you guys. Your content is always interesting and your production is awesome. Elayna & Riley you guys are superstars but you can't underestimate 3 awesome players in your stories. Lenny, Darwin and your Rapido! The performance you guys get out of your boat is amazing. Seeing your shout out to Lenny warms my heart and I've been looking forward to seeing him help you guys run your boat since he was born. Luv you all & look forward to seeing all the vids from the best RUclips channel there is.
Ok. 2 things: 1. My favorite thing about your videos is all the smiles. Are you even aware of just how much on your crew smiles. Everyone of you has a smile quotient that is off the charts! Love that! 2. Well, I do not work, I am retired, so what I do with my days is watch your videos, read books, go to the gym, take long walks on the beach, swim in the Pacific Ocean (I live in small town located on a big bay on the west coast of Costa Rica) fill in coloring books with my colored pencils, play card games with friends, and a few more things....haha.
Wow, I love your retirement life. My husband and I will be retiring in another couple years and we’ve wondered what we will be doing. We are landlocked in Haysville, Kansas, USA.
I’m a 59 yr old SAHM. I dislike hot weather and all things ocean related, but LOVE you guys and have been following you for years. As a boy mom, I think your boys are adorable and I truly enjoy your family adventures, the love and friendships you share and seeing the world through your eyes! Beautiful souls inside and out!
My face hurts from smiling through this whole video. We love you guys. Always have. Answering your question about abundance and time, what we do is make our mountain top property more and more comfortable and make more and more of our own food. Nearly off-grid and making the most of the life we were given. Thank you for all that you bring to us.
That is just crazy talk to think that we get tired of your videos. I'm loving the frequent daily posts. That must be a lot of work for you folks. Thank you.
Never sick of you guys! Loved the daily blogs so much and was missing you guys when I received my notice of this post. Loving the Japan sailing and look forward to your next video.❤❤❤
I'm a fairly low paid worker but in my younger years I didn't miss the opportunity to travel, mostly on credit and mostly "touristy" bucket list destinations. Mainly for scuba diving, my one true love. So If I didn't have to work, I'd get in my camper and never come home. There is soooooo much to see on this beautiful planet and my credit limit only stretches so far. I wish I was more type A and had more drive in me to "earn harder" but my monkey brain (The chimp Paradox is an amazing book) seems to default to lazy shirtless bum and I have yet to reprogram it. 🤣 I guess this channel is one of many that helps keep the agentic me from going insane knowing he can't break the mold❤
While there may be generally less sailors in Japan, I suspect some of the reason it is so deserted is the typhoon season. Without such a fast and capable boat it would more dangerous for others.
My son and his wife lived in Japan for 7 years. For work. He spent the first 5 years taking Japanese lessons - and ended up talking conversational Japanese very well.. They moved back to New York this last July.
We love you, and only want THE BEST for your mission! Thank you for your pioneering, heroism, and good parenting. When I was a child, I watched Jacques Cousteau. Thank you sadly for showing us the real condition of the oceans today. Thank you for Greta. I will use the app. JB
Well, I have been retired for a number of years now and I drive for Uber 2 to 3 Days week in the Portland Oregon area. It gives me a chance to meet people and provide a service. I try not to drive more than about five hours a day. And then I come home and watch your videos.
Wasn't expecting today's episode. What a bonus. Enjoy your 5 minutes of quiet without the kids! I can see Elly is ready for a break, and travelling Sth Is of NZ is a great and safe option. I don't know anyone there, but I do on North Island!! sorry Elly. Looking forward to your adventures in Tokyo and skiing.!
No, we will never be sick of you guys. I love the weekly blog. Thank you for the love and dedication you spent for a whole week and I hope a lot of people signed up to Sea People.
Oh my goodness, I’m so glad that you posted today. I’ve been really missing you guys daily! We never tired of you, your adventures, and of course, so love the boys!
Elayna & Riley: Rest assured, I could never get too much of you both and your incredible journey. I've been following you since the very start of your RUclips channel. More please! Sincerely, Canadian Colleen
Oh, and at the top of Mt. Misen on Miyajima Island are little monkeys. Not the kind that attacked y’all on the beach! Anyway, I love Japan and it’s fun watching your explorations!
Every Japanese student studies English for a few years. At least 15% of the everyday Japanese language is borrowed English words. However, there is a pronunciation gap. For example, a Cellular Phone is Se-Yu-Ra-Fo, or a smartphone is Su-Ma-Fo. You are certainly right about bureaucracy; it's very Japanese. Thank you for breaking the barrier and sailing in Japan.
Oh my gosh, please don’t apologize, I love your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and showing us the world. Probably 75% of your viewing audience will never be able to travel to all these locations. Give those kiddos a hug and kiss, I feel like they are just part of my family; hope this doesn’t sound stockish!. I’m just a grandma at heart. Thanks again for the videos God bless y’all from Haysville, Kansas, USA. Tell Ellie, we’re praying for her, I hope that bug bite isn’t too awfully bad and I hope she has some antibiotics for the infection.
how humble to suggest an overstayed welcome....we enjoyed every edited moment and effort you put into it guys. #Lenny and Darwin's Food Reviews. love the sparrow vibes during the better help bit
I love watching the videos. Also strangely I do appreciate the "snoods" not sure what you call them but the scarves to protect your skin. I think it is cool that you enjoy the outdoors but still protect your skin
I’ve been with y’all before the boys and remember you crying because the drone scared you. Not funny, but look at you go!! I love seeing the kids grow up and seeing the world through your eyes. This was absolutely amazing!! 15:22 ~ Creeper 👀 Riley was extra hilarious. Y’all look like you’re finding joy and peace ✌️ Love from the North North Georgia Mountains.
I live and sail in Okinawa where you just passed through and often catch mahi while trolling from my Hobie cats. That and wahoo and tuna mostly. There's a 2 or 3 month season (Sep- Nov) where the mahi come in close enough inshore to catch them from shore too.
You have to take Lenny to the electronics markets while you are in Japan... There are really great pocket oscilloscopes that use an iPad app. It will be a great tool for diagnostics on the boat, but it would also open a whole new world in electronics👍 I am an mechanical / Electrical engineer, and I credit a lot of it to my dad buying me old VCR's to take apart and experiment with😂
Please tell Ellie the YHA Hostels on South Island are cheap, clean and wonderful! There’s also a national bus service that goes just about any place you want to go in the country. It’s called Intercity Bus Lines. New Zealand is my favorite place on earth. Japan is a close second. You must visit Miyajima Island while in the Inland Sea and the Peace Park in Hiroshima.
Vlogmas 2024 is coming up ~~it would be so nice to see you guys every day for a whole season cause it’s gonna be cold and snowing up north here and I’m in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks to you I see places I'll probably never see.... in such an old living culture especially one ive been fascinated by for years.........is pretty neet thx you two. 😃🙂
On too of basics- learn these 3 essentials. Suburashii”= wonderful, splendid, excellent. Add it to your vocabulary as it seems like the describing word you need for the country, people and food. Mou hitotsu (mow he tots ew) generally used to say one more. Handy for anytime you want one more of anything especially at craft beer breweries!! .Then you just have to point at food, drink, tickets, boat parts and say mou hitotsu kudasai. One more please And lastly, make sure you all know the word abunai =dangerous. You may hear people yelling it to you so a good one to know on the water or around marinas Watching from NZ - loving the vids
Again an excellent video. IKI Island looks like a terriffic spot. You guys are really lucking out by staying ahead of the Typhones. You ask what I'd do if I had the finances and left my job. Well definitely we'd be travelling a whole lot more. It's a small, but big world we live in. I'd love to see as much as I can before I become part of the earth's soil. Fly, Sail as passenger of coarse, river cruise. A thing that really interest's my wife and myself is hopefully be able to go and do the Pilgramage in SPAIN.Looking forward to next week's video cheers you two.
Umm Naw,, Not sick of you guys..get video... I love the part where Riley, had bed head nd put on those glasses, I lost it at the part😂😂..Can't wait for the next video😊

I don't sail but I loved all your videos last week. I follow to live that side of life through you guys!

it's pretty amazing that the daily vlogs were still the same amazing quality that we got used to from you guys. Don't overwork yourselves!
I could get use to the daily videos ❤

I am the same, SAHM that homeschools five daughters and also works full time mostly remote. Hate heat and water. Enjoy these videos though.
😊
Been watching for years! I like every one of ur videos instantly. Just cause! Never get tired of y’all! Wishing y’all fair winds and following seas!
Never get sick of watching your vlogs. All amazing! If I didn't have to work, I'd spend my time gardening and volunteer for environmental projects.
We love you every day of the week. ❤

Absolutely rocking that Japanese Samurai-Style ponytail Elayna! 😂🎉
Really enjoying the sailing in Japan, great to see some footage of such beautiful part of the globe.

To the contrary, I enjoyed every episode! Sharing this adventure with you is one of my weekly favorites!
Would never get sick of watching you guys. Love love love your content.

the best is when Lenny says to his dad "this fishing rod is not made of paper?" and Riley laughs..the look on Lenny's face is priceless LOL

So awesome watching Lenny hit his stride!
