Never played any of the original games. This will be my first time playing the game. It looks amazing and I can’t wait to see the story I’ve watched many play in with my own eyes. It’s weird to be a fan of something I never even played any of them.
I recommend you check out SH1-4 OG if you like this, they are actually really good games (SH4 being kinda weakest but very strange and it breaks the formula a bit), rest are not really worth it. I've heard some people love Shattered Memories but it's Wii exclusive and it was based around playing it with Wii controls, so it can't be really emulated.
Hello miss! Old time SH fans here. Played the original SH2 back in 2004. I wont spoil anything plot related to you, but i can guarantee you that you will 1. Feel scared and suffocated for most of the part in the game. SH is miles better vs Resident Evil when it comes to psychological horror and suffocating the players. 2. Get deeply invested in all the characters especially James, Maria and Mary. Some hint : this is a game about love between husband and wife. 3. Cry. Freaking cry like a baby. The original already made me tear up back in those days when i was still a young teenage boy. I can only imagine the quality and impact of the story telling in this remake, with all the new graphics and technology. Hint - that small snippet where maria hugged James and dearly saying " You're supposed to take care of me". All in all, this remake will be seen as a masterpiece. Please try as your hardest to avoid any plot spoilers!
@fernandocorrea7723 nope, never owned a Playstation actually! We were a PC/Nintendo household growing up. When I went to buy my first non-Nintendo console, my friends at the time all played Xbox so that's what I went with
It's funny seeing these young kids pretending they know what is going on when they weren't even born when the game came out.....all for Tik Tok likes and Insta 😂😂

They don't show how PH kills Maria. That moment is deleted in remake. Even in OG it happened mostly off camera, but now they cut off that scene completely! This is unforgivable.
