Same! I really don't know why station melodies were not included in the game. It must be for some sort of copyright reason, although the game is fully licensed by JR 🤷

When you set the game mode to remove the ui, the train drives itself.
@@paynteck4473 But is it possible to remove the ui and control the train yourself? If so, this would be an instant buy for me as I find the ui a little bit too much at times. 🙂
@@thomaskok8378this is “demo mode” where the game drives itself. Unfortunately there is no way to just turn the panel off while in normal game mode

Going to Japan soon so I'm going to get this there instead of eBay. But... I wonder why they don't use station melodies and the actual announcements? They did for the DS and N64...

So can you buy this digitally? I can’t find it on PlayStation store in U.S.:( I know the ps4 is region free. I guess I have to get physical huh?
It is available digitally as well, but just like the physical release, it's a Japanese exclusive, so you gotta access the PlayStation Store JP with a JP account. You won't be able to find it on the US store.
Is this possible to also turn off those "replays" of station arriving? Anyway fantastic graphics.. I wish to play this on PC :( such a shame its on PS4 only
I don't believe there is an option to disable those short replays. Luckily they are very short

@@keske9 the dedicated Densha De Go controller is only available for Nintendo Switch. So yeah, on PlayStation 4 you have to play with the normal controller.
Is there anyway to buy the digital version of this game in the U.S?
Yes, you just need to create a Japanese PlayStation account and buy the digital version from the Japanese PlayStation Store. Though you'll also need a pre-paid card as your credit/debit card or PayPal won't work there. If you ask me, way easier to just buy the physical disc version from Japan on PlayAsia or other similar online retailers.
Is it easy enough to pick up and play without knowing Japanese or is there a learning curve?
@@YeomansFamily not knowing Japanese will probably slow you down a little bit at the beginning, during the tutorial runs, but everything is pretty much all based on visual clues and numbers, so you will learn how to play perfectly after an hour or so. This is the perfect example of a Japanese game where the language barrier is not an issue 😉

@@Kyumilli you should be able to play every ps4 disc with every ps4. But keep in mind that you need the proper regional account if you want to get dlc.

Absolutely yes! Both PS4 and PS5 consoles (and games) are region free 😉

How did you turn off the HUD please ?
In my opinion, this movie is an automatic demonstration driving mode.
HUD is disabled while automatic driving mode and cannot be enabled.
