Gusii leaders pledge to work with President William Ruto

  • A section of Gusii leaders have vowed to work with Kenya Kwanza government to spur development in the region.
    Speaking at Gusii stadium where they attended a celebration of Kisii Catholic Bishop Joseph Mairura who was marking 35 years in priesthood, the leaders led by education CS nominee Ezekiel Machogu and Kisii governor Simba Arati, they said they will ensure that they woo President William Ruto to initiate development for betterment of wananchi saying elections were over and it was time to deliver campaign pledges.
    They also lauded nomination of Machogu as education cabinet secretary stating that the former provincial administrator was equal to the task.
    The leaders also hailed the president for disbanding the SSU saying it would put to an end enforced disappearance of Kenyans.
