- www.autobytel.com/?id=32972 According to the sales sheets, the Chrysler Town & Country and its sister the Dodge Grand Caravan are the best-selling minivans in America. But what you don't know is the fact that a slice of those sales figures represent the fact that this minivan ends up as a rental or fleet vehicle. Still the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country S is a great minivan. Prices on the Town & Country range from $30,765 - $41,595.
Under the hood is a 3.6 liter Pentastar V-6 engine that makes 283 horsepower which is a lot for the minivan segment. Fuel economy is not so great at 17 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. A big benefit is the amount of cargo room that thanks to the stow & go seating. Minivans are not intended to be the most exciting cars to drive. That being said; the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country S feels athletic and handles great thank to the excellent suspension.

The second row does adjust fore and aft, they also recline as does the 3rd row.
The honda van gets 5star + rating only on the models with fwd collision warning, which starts at 35.5k. (Ex-L)
City mileage isn't great but highway mileage is around 26mpg even cruising at 70.
I average 17-18 with heavy city/hill driving, and those 283hp are very handy and worth it.
Mine adjust as well, , and all the seats in my 2014 are power seats including the rear
There is an error with this review when you talk about the second row stow-n-go seats. My family owns a grand caravan 2014 which is the same exact car as this, and the second row seats have a wide range of motion forwards and backwards. he claimed that the seats do not go forwards and backwards that is false.
Was just about to comment on this. Same one here and my seats slide back :D
Yes! My mother owns a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Touring and we can slide back our 2nd row seats.
I Have A 2010 Chrysler T&C Touring & The Middle Stow & Go Seats DO Have Forward & Backwards Adjustment.
Atlast New Video Of Autobytel
I have the 2014 Touring model and love it love it love it! I can't say anything bad about it in any way. On a recent 3500 mile trip we got 27.4mpg combined city/highway!
How is it running now
We are on our 6th T&C and still have 2 with over 250,000 trouble free miles on them. Can hardly wait for the new style with the 9 speed and 300 HP engine! Second row seats do slide aft, but must be in the forward position to fold into the floor.
This is built right in my backyard in Windsor, ON.! (literally I live a block away from where they build these).
FYI - the second row seats do slide forwards and backwards. There is a lever right underneath them to do this.
The small overlap crash tests happen in only 10% of crashes world wide. It's a small consideration but still a valid point. I'm a car guy and I hated getting a van. But now that I have one I love the versatility of it.
I had it as a rental for a week, powerful engine but sometimes the shifting is not the best but everything else I liked about it was the power lift and slide doors
Do the new ones still have the swivel seats and table?
One thing I wish our 2014 Odyssey had from this car... The Black seats/headliner.
The 2nd row seats do slide forward and back ...
They did on my '08. My understanding is that they did some rework on the Sto-N-Go mechanisms, so maybe they don't slide anymore.
Bob Keilitz Ajeeth Uthayakumar yes I rented a 2014 T&C Touring and the seats did indeed slide back and forth. Perhaps they don't on the S version.
Damn, i just bought a new 2018 Pacifica S and this T&C has more options than my new vehicle does. should of gotten this instead and saved some $$$
I have a 2011...same updated design, and the second row seats do adjust for and aft. I suspect you might be incorrect in saying they do not on the 2014 model.
There is a bar under the stow in go seat so you can move it, its not allot but you do get a couple of inches of knee-room. FYI
QUESTION! Would a 6ft tall person fit in the 3rd row and be comfortable for a 5 hour long road trip? Is there enough space? Every video I watch the reviewer gets in the back but never puts the 2nd row back into the correct position. Also Can you rotate the 2nd row so they face the back seats, and option in a small table? I remember I saw pictures where it was setup like this for the 2008 model year, but none for 2011+
Could anybody tell me what specs are on a basic town&country?
Thanks
I'd rather go with a van, such as this Chrysler, than purchasing an SUV. I do prefer the high seating that a van provides, similar to an SUV. The only unfortunate thing about vans is that they lack all wheel or 4 wheel drive (except for the Toyota Sienna's top version which is pricey!). I really don't care what anyone may think as I drive a van, and I don't have a large family. Only my lady and myself, but I dig having huge cargo room capacity which is something you CAN'T get in a sedan.
I wish VW would bring back the Bus from back in da day. A retro design, which could be as simple as the original bus was, but with safety factors built in and maybe an aircooled engine to boot! Of course I'm dreaming...lol-
Peace!
They're nice to travel in, even alone. Put down the back seat and you can sleep laying flat. They also get much better mileage than SUV's.
Do you know if there is a difference between 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016? Where do you have a selection of TaC vans, please.
I've had 2 Siennas as company vehicles. I love my Town and Country. Plan to drive it until the wheels fall off, because it isn't great for resale, but it's an enjoyable drive, has great equipment, and is averaging about 24.5 mpg overall at 50k miles. If you're looking to save some money on a used van, look for an S or Touring L. There are plenty of low mileage units available.
The second row does adjust for more or less leg room and it does recline as well.
Correction. ... they second row bucket seats DO adjust forward and backwards for additional room. There is a horizontal bar like all manual seats. Give it a try!
I love my 2014 Chrysler Touring Van its the same color as the one you just Reviewed and mine is loaded. I had owned 2 Dodge Grand Caravans,i bought one in 2000 and the outher one in 2005 that I just traded with 1120000 miles on it. I think this will be the last year for the Dodge vans and that's why I went with Chrysler this time.
My Wife loves the vans to great for hauling the GrandKids, great for shoping. we allways have a van load going to church and for those mini vacations. Both my Dodge vans were great in the snow and no doubt this Town and County will also do great.
Chris, what is the difference between a 2012 and a 2014 Town and Country???
Great reviewer
There is a bar under the second row seats that you pull up to slide the seats back... -.-
The second row seats do move forward and back with a bar under the front of the seat instead of on the side like some competitors.
2nd row seats do slide forward and back. There's a bar under the front of the seat. Just lift it up, and find your desired position.
Some newer models actually spin to face the rear seat (like in the '80s model TOYOTA VAN LE equipped with captain's seats), and have a table you can place between the 2nd & 3rd row.
I own a 2014 Town & Country.
The swiveling seats are on the older pre face-lifted models (2008-2010)
Wrong! The 2nd row seats absolutely DO adjust forward and back. Surprised he missed this!!! Please edit and correct the review!
Yeah I was saying the same thing. I have a 2014 and mine adjust to front and back as well as recline.
Second row seats do adjust fore and aft and recline. Online version of owners manual gives the details.
The second row seats do adjust, it's a small bars under the seat.
Do u have an external mic if u don't u should get one. I noticed the audio quality if quiet when u loom at the camera when ur not looking at the camera it's nice. Otherwise good very good review don't stop reviewing cars.
The design of the 2014 changed? I own a 2012 TC Limited and the middle seats do move forward and aft.
April 2014 assembly loaner van's second row adjusts maybe some vans don't.
The seats do adjust fore and aft!
wow this is an awesome minivan. My mom and dad bought an overpriced toyota sienna. not only for 45k and still not as good as this. Looks are also a plus and a better engine. Will difinitely buy one of this for my growing family
+Maxi Dale the Toyotas last a lot longer I know from experience.but I agree looks are better :-)
Is there some kind of device built into mini-vans that forces them to drive in the passing lane, next to another vehicle in the right lane, for 10 miles straight, going 2 mph lower than the speed limit? 'cause I'm pretty sure there is.
My 2015 TnC has 2nd row sliding seats. Limo length legroom when they are all the way back.
Had 2 Grand Caravan's. Loved them. Great in snow. wanted another but no heated leather seats or other amenities like 2014 town & Country. Got the T&C. it does not handle well in snow, I've been stuck more this winter (It's only End of January!) than all years combined with my caravans. And it surges when it shifts. Not happy at all.
I have driven Chryslers since 1971 ,owned other makes too...but always come back. have owned many Caravans and driven them for work...400,000 km and more very tough vans and cars....
They don't even come close to being tough. Watch the crash test of the 2014 Town and Country by the IIHS
I want one for travel, the Chrysler vans are my #1 choice because there's so many of them and plenty of used parts available
Many mistakes in this video first one is the cb ft of space and the second row does slide, in this video he has the second row seats position forward
Where is the cabin air conditioner filter located?
Bottom glove box
I would consider buying of chrysler minivan they ever decided to have four wheel drive again on em.. I bet there could be a way to have four wheel drive in also have a stow and go with them!!!! But until then I'm going with the 2015 Toyota Sienna all wheel drive!!
my 2005 town and country come's with heated seats, power lift gate, stow and go that slides all leather ,sunroof 6 disc dvd changer and power seats driver and passenger, navigation, 3.8 old style 6 cylinder engine with modded chip for extra horses my van will kick any other van 0-60 time any day a fully loaded man van wish i had the 4.0 modded though that would be faster then mine only if they made one with a HEMI Hint Hint Nudge Nudge,,,,need the seating compacity with all the bells and whistle's with out being sloww... Peace OUT....
Nice job on the video.
The only part I'd quibble with is, does anyone really care about IIHS small-offset crash test? IMO, it's more designed to peel the side of the car, than provide any actual safety advantage. Maybe it's just me.
I don't care how much the haters judge his size and delivery, I like this guy! He's more real and honest than most of the complainers probably are.
I think these vans were updated to address the complaint of the second row leg room. Today i'm driving a Touring manufactured in April 2014 and when going out for lunch during work's break my friends/coworkers were adjusting the seats fore and aft and reclining them. They were also reclining the rear folding bench. But this is a loaner and it's the only such van i ever drove, i can't say if it was there before April 2014.
this is a very bad mini van if you were in a collision you would most likely never walk again. and would suffer major brain trauma from hitting the dash.
dyllman98 well then why do all the rental companies use them
***** are you stupid? If your on a two way road you would hit another car head on. Wow I just couldent belive to see that you wrote that makes me feel like 1,000 times smarter and makes u look like an idiot.
***** ok go.to iihs and look at the crash on RUclips and you tell me if you would be able to walk away after the carsh.
Omg u are.so dumb that's the test they do for head on collisions dumb
For families (unless you have 5 or more kids) I like the Mazda5 for an option. Has best mpg in class, great safety and just look at the price tag... For only about $20,000 for the base model that's great... Even if it lacks a little cargo and passenger space (only seats six).
and KBB and Edmunds and everyone else gives the Mazda5 as the best minivan... being the only REAL minivan. They are built on the last generation Mazda3's and are a hoot to drive. Can't wait for a skyactiv version to come out soon. Really wish for an extended version for cargo. you can barely put three grocery paper bags in the back with the third row seats up.
The Real Channel I assumed anyone with a 9th grade level of reading would understand that today's 'mini'vans are not really mini anymore and that the mazda5 was perhaps the only real minivan when it came out. But thank you captain obvious!
My Mother owns a Kia Sodona and to be honest, it is better than the others, and the new model looks great as well. Also crash ratings on the kia sodona are really good as well...
The second row seats does slide back and forth WITHOUT the stoe and go seats..
We have stow and go in our 2011 and the second row seats do adjust.
For better fuel economy, why not throw in a nine-speed automatic transmission on this vehicle and Grand Caravan when they get redesigned? The Chrysler 200 and Jeep Cherokee both with V6 have nine-speed automatic transmissions and work the best. There were rumors that the Town & Country minivan was going to be replaced by a three-row crossover.
They are
www.allpar.com/model/m/2016.html
To the transmission that is. Chrysler will continue to produce the Town and Country minivan, but Dodge will be losing it's minivan to keep Dodge more in line with their "performance based" lineup. Dodge will, however, be getting a crossover based on the new Town and Country
@@cevans2021 yep, the Grand Caravan hung in there up until 2020 when it’s been discontinued since. Pacifica, the T&C’s replacement since 2017 has been carrying the torch and is far more modern than these vans. I wouldn’t mind getting a T&C used if the deal was right on one, but you’d bet I’d get an extended warranty for sure. There was a short-lived Voyager that was based on the Pacifica and it’s lower level trims but that didn’t last long
is it 4 wheel drive?
No
What about the problems of the first year of 2011 T and C Vans??? I have a chance to by a 2011 Van. I am not sure about it, and some of the reviews. Here it is, tell me what you think, is it to much? Here it is, tell me what you think. @t & country/north vancouver/british columbia/5_50849786_bs200672594934/?modalXS=1
I really like the Town and Country, just not sure what model I want, trying to find the differences in Touring L ,Limited and S ..
Does this S have automatic sliding doors and rear gate? Or push button start?
I don't like the crisler town and country because
it is unsafe
So after extensive research
I'm going with the Touring L..I like the key start and extras it has
still safety is more important
The 2014 town and country got 4 stars in all crash test except side impact where it actually got 5 stars...looks pretty safe to me
***** yea, take that RICKY HO!! I'M HAPPY WITH THIS VAN TOO
the grand caravan (this van's brother) has a terrible headroom in the 3rd row seats. Now, I'm 6'5" or so, so I wouldn't complain except I was in a 2004 Ford Windstar and the headroom in 3rd row seats was amazing.
There was no 2004 windstar
"All 2014 Town and Country models come with this UConnect touch screen infotainment system....." - we just bought a used 2014 Town and Country and UConnect - or at least most of unconnect's cooler functions - are AN OPTION PACKAGE....which ours does not have. I don't know if that screen and the hard drive constitute "unconnect", but, a lot of the cooler functions - like connecting with smart phone, displaying maps, etc. - do not work without a unconnect option package...whatever that means. I just know that ours lacks a lot of functionality and if you're looking at one of these used and want smart phone interfaces, maps, etc. you'd better make sure that the vehicle has all of the modules.....
This car is very nostalgic for me
The one thing reviewers almost always fail to mention is the price of these. Yeah, it's not as refined as the Odyssey, but it costs a LOT less in the real world since nobody pays list price for a Chrysler. It's a great value, all things considered. Safety is not as good, that's a valid complaint. But keep in mind that to stay in the same price range you would be comparing this to a 2-3 year old Odyssey, which also failed the new partial offset crash test prior to an update in 2014. And while the rear seats in the Odyssey are spacious and comfortable, the front seats are miserably cramped, with a particularly intrusive dead pedal. If you're above 6' tall make sure you spend a good amount of time in it before buying.
plmn93 I purchased a less than one year old Chrysler Touring with 34000 miles on it for only $19,400! It had been a lease or rental car. Since it still had factory warranty on it, I took it to the Chrysler dealer and had them go all through it. They said the vehicle was perfect. This is impressive because the original sticker price on the van was $34K + ! Check with Avis, Budget, Hertz, etc. car sales sites for these bargains!
This car looks nice
The seats actually do slide.
in the limited they do
Not really, mine go way back
They absolutely do slide and they do recline. I believe it applies to all trims
You forgot to mention the downfalls.......The "Infamous TIPMS failures" (Total Integrated Power Module System} that goes haywire and your windows go up and down by themselves and the wipers operate by them selves, and the fuel pump stops and it seems "Possessed'. The transmission troubles, they don't seem to last very long. mine is ONLY 85,000 miles and needs a new torque converter.....etc.
The comment on 4:19 are wrong. The second row car seats do adjust forward and backwards.
...Except that the second row seats do in fact slide forward and backward.
You need to do more of the video reviews because you did not hold back.
proč mám koukat na takovou ropuchu když chci vidět auto?
Chrysler should start doing a better job with town & country with its technology for example the navigation system they should do it like the other minivans and they also should do a power lift gate
It does have power lift gate. I looked at one today
they had power lift gate and navi since 2002 my 2005 town and country comes with everything except a fridge and heated steering wheel, which the fully loaded one comes wit nowa days mine has 6 disc dvd changer and heated seats sunroof and power lift gate and stow and go that slide..
found the seats of the 2012 to narrow small
I still have mine with 166,000 and $18,000 in Mopar Lifetime Maximum Warranty repair work. ( no longer available to new buyers)
just pull the lower seat lever, the seat will move back. you're wrong.
True
4 steps to fold the rear seats!? Have you seen the Ford Explorer you push a button and it’s all electric
I rather have the t&c over the odyssey n sienna espieciallt over sienna because chrysler t&c offers more than toyota sienna
We have had the necessity to rent an accessible minivan several times this year and each time it was a Dodge minivan. What he does not talk about is the constant shudder from the engine while in Park. We have been in the market for a wheelchair accessible van for the past year. The Dodge/Chrysler family was never in the running as my wife and I have both owned Dodge products in the past. We have driven a 2011, 2013, and 2014 Dodge minivan and they all suffered from the same shudder in the engine, we have had both the 5 and 6 speed transmissions, both were slow and awkward. I will not comment about road noise as that is not a fair comparison because the floors are lowered about 14 inches. We had the pleasure of driving a 2010 Honda Odyssey before we were forced to rent Dodge and it was a very pleasurable experience. We also test drove a 2011 Odyssey with 3 times the mileage of the Dodge vans and it was still by far a better product. Most recently, we rented a Toyota and liked it so much that I have one on order. If you are in the market for a minivan, please drive the Dodge/Chrysler 1st before driving the competition as that will give you a baseline as to what a minivan is and then drive the Toyota and Honda to see what a minivan should be.
I should also say that in 2009 We rented the Volkswagen routon for a week. I never thought it was possible for a company to license a product (Chrysler minivan), spend something like $10,000,000 and make a bad product worse. Volkswagen learned that they do not have a competitive product and are no longer attempting to be in that business, that is the best decision they have made in a long time.
***** my mistake that it was not a 5 speed. 6 speed was not standard, 2009 had a four-speed automatic, 2010 a 6 speed was optional, depending on what trim level. All of the vans that we had the displeasure of driving were SXTs which had 4 speeds. That still does not account for the tthen shuddering in Park. There is also something to be said for a very unimpressive interior. In the stereo head. There was a Bluetooth button, unfortunately it does not come with that option. So they just make you wish you had bought something different. Could you imagine buying a pickup truck with a switch for four-wheel-drive and then when you press it, you get a message stating that this vehicle is not equipped with that? The plastics are cheap, even the gearshift feels like it's ready to fall apart.
***** please backup what you say about Toyota being a huge issue waiting to happen, what data do you have? before I purchased my van, I did a lot of research and read reviews from Consumer Reports but also from owners and Dodge owners consistently have the most problems. The interior is cheap plastics and nothing felt solid. When I open the upper glovebox, I expect the door to open not just pop open a little bit so you have to open it manually. This is a minor thing, but it's indicative of attention to detail. We had the Dodge SXT trim level and there was a Bluetooth button on the stereo head, when you push this button it would tell you that the option is not available. Could you imagine buying a truck that has a four-wheel-drive indicator and when you push the button you receive a message stating that four-wheel-drive is not available? The transmission lever felt flimsy and ready to fall apart, there was a lot of slop going side to side and it was not a gated shifter. I agree with you, my vans were messed up. But that is because they were Dodge. I have a long history with Dodge, my first car was a Dodge and it was a horrible vehicle, it was the predecessor to the Dodge shadow so I do not hold it against Dodge, it was a cheap vehicle and a first car. My 2nd car was a Dodge dynasty, an old man's car but I really loved that car, the dynasty was the predecessor to what my mother had which was a 94 Dodge Intrepid. That car was fast, fun, handled great and was a joy to drive. It had its issues, but overall, it was fun. My father had a Dodge ram 3500 van, what can you say? It was huge and handled like a van, I enjoyed driving it. My wife had a 2000 Intrepid and as much as we say that we would've loved to have kept that car, the ghost in the electrical system would make the interior lights flicker when driving down the road. We put several sets of window regulators and door locks in that car. When the car stopped on the train tracks in Boston and would not restart immediately, we gave serious thought to trading, that was when the vehicle was one year old. It finally did restart but she had to drive it 50 miles back in "limp home" mode. She had the top-of-the-line Intrepid ES with a 3.2 liter V-6 (the R/T was not out). We tried to maintain our love of Dodge, but with the amount of trouble we ran into with that car, it was very difficult. The final nail in the coffin was when we had to replace the battery a 3rd time. They put the battery in front of the passenger side front tire and it was absolutely miserable to get to. We tried to have the local Sam's Club install the new battery, they refused. It looks like I have higher expectations of a vehicle then you do. As I said, I looked at reviews and consistently for the past 10 years or more, Honda and Toyota have been exchanging first and 2nd place. Dodge/Chrysler has been in 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th , depending on what Kia/Hyundai/Mazda have on the market. The reviews for liability with Honda and Toyota have been at the very top, Dodge never had great ratings for reliability. If you are the type of person that is turning in the vehicle at 60 or 80,000 miles to get a new one, I would understand why you would say Dodge has a good product. When I buy a vehicle, it is for the long-term and now purchasing disabled driver minivans, you are looking at an $80,000 investment. I would rather put my money into an American made van like Honda or Toyota instead of a Canadian budget friendly wagon.
***** so something got into the engine on 5 different vans between New Hampshire, Florida, and Texas? I have a hard time believing that the same quaking was caused by environment or "something getting into the engine.". It is an unrefined powertrain. It is a van that is built on a budget and I could not recommend anybody spend money on one of these.
I have owned a 1997 Plymouth voyager for 17 years , my expenses have only been for normal wear and tear, I have absolutely no rust and only have 70 thousand miles on the 6 cylinder engine for which the oil has been changed every 3 thousand miles with synthetic 10 w30 it is worth nothing on a trade in, but would I buy another ,of course, go figure.
1991 167k going
1992 over 200k running like new
I do hate the clickityclickityclick the ultra drive makes though. Even the 2014 version
***** And they are being recalled too, not many recalls for FiaChryGroup compared to GM but Ford still leads with no recalls.
4 step process to fold back the 3rd row seats?! The Honda Odyssey only takes 1!
+ForgottenReasons Yea and the Honda has a terrible auto trans. The Honda center seats can't be folded into the floor. Honda is ugly and grossly overpriced.
ForgottenReasons but do they stow and go?
At Bob , because it's american that's why PERIOD......and at 36 grand msrp on a honda without a DVD screen is ridiculous
the stow and go feature... makes the seats really uncomfortable. Stow & Go feature is really pointless. lol That's what your trunk is for.... i'm still for Honda or toyota vans. They are reliable. I don't know about Chrylser just yet..... I had a plymouth voyager that just had problems after problems once it turned 10. I would rather expect problems to start after using it for 16 years.... by then i would consider getting rid of it.....
If you expect no problems with a vehicle until 16 years old that please let me know which one this is?
Give the new Chrysler a chance.
Impala Daily You know what, you are right. I can't be so biased. This isn't the 90's.
Jinu J I love the sto-n-go feature. I travel in my business with two adults and a ton of gear. This is the only van made that allows us to fold all of the seats into the floor so that we can transport valuable equipment in a very comfortable luxury environment on long trips. You can't beat the design and features with a Honda or Toyota!
Jinu J The best part about Stow and Go is the extra storage space it gives you for stuff that you don't need or want out in the open. Like emergency kits and such. Yeah, the seats are a compromise, but all vans compromise in one way or another.
I would buy a Odyssey over Chrysler any day. No comfort in seats, not enough legroom, cargo space unlike Odyssey does, needs a fridge in it too, much much better MPG, better screen size in front and rear seats. Make stow and go better with much much comfy seats in rear seats and not so many steps to take seats in to the floor. And easier to put 3rd row seats down easier like Odyssey has. All this done and maybe consider one than.
sure... and all that you added to your odyssey will be about 7-10K MORE than the Touring T&C that has comparable things. BTW... KIDS DON"T CARE HOW BIG THEIR DVD LCD SCREEN IS. food for thought.
But for real, Im on the fence... Odyssey or T&C. I know that Odysseey's get only about 21mpg combined... on my limited text drive, I got 23mpg. T&C got me 26.7mpg mostly hwy (about 100miles city driving) driving after 600+ miles. Odyssey has grey leather seats or, for 40k+ you can get black leather seats. T&C has them at 30K. Grey leather seats are so... 1990's!
There are so many features that the T&C provides, except for being built in america as they are assembled in Canada while the Odyssey is assembled in USA. It is a hard one to chew on... but I do know I couldnt afford a 40k+ van and moving to an "affordable" Odyssey with cloth seats and no RES just to stay at around 30K is a downgrade from my CX-9 Touring with bose/moonroof AND RES.
Why consider it? Worse gas mileage than Honda or Toyota. MUCH worse resale value. ANY of the rear seats are terrible for anyone older than say, 11. The Sto-N-Go seats require the seat bottoms to be thin, thus little support. You don't feel like you are "in" a seat; more like sitting on a stool. Unless they have improved the brakes, be prepared for a new set of rotors every 15 - 20K miles.
are the other people's replies deleted or something? The reason people buy this is because its a bargain used. 40% cheaper than the Hondas or Toyotas for about the same thing.
The auto transmissions in these vehicles suck. Very abrupt gear changes and not smooth at all.
deekay2 it has auto and manual.
Your shuttling your family around in a mini van with poor crash test ratings
Typical Chrysler product, if you went to a Chrysler dealer 10 years ago, don't bother going again, there's nothing new to see there.
You are so right; they have 10 year old technologies that have not kept up with any modern advances and their designs have not made any aerodynamic improvements.
DOLT!!!
gotta agree some what. for their bread/butter vehicle, they should be doing much better with the design and interior material.
This version of the T&C (all trims) have been around since 2011... which received a totally revamped style than the previous generation which ran from like 2004-2010 or so. That said, I personal place value in cars that stay true to their design much like my 2011 CX-9 which has been around since the early to mid 2000's. The reason why manufactures decide to revamp and remake/re brand their cars is because they are not selling all that well. Insert the Chevy cavalier/cobalt/cruze/ When a manufacture builds a good thing, and leaves it alone sans minor cosmetic and tech. changes, than I have faith that that vehicle will survive. To each their own I suppose, but I'd rather not buy a car that gets a major overhaul/revamping/re-badging every 3-4 years.
Yeah you can get a Crossfire, PT Cruiser, Pacifica, Aspen, Magnum, Caliber, Liberty, Avenger, Sebring, or even a SRT4 Neon if you just ask the salesman. AND bring a time machine! The only engine left from then is the massively revised Hemi 5.7 and I don't think any tranny is left from then either. And U-connect is widely thought of as the best system available at any price.

You are not in a good size.
What a crappy minivan, I'd much rather get an Odyssey.
+TheSickfloW I would too, if I had your money.
Try buying one ,than let me know how good that piece of shit is .dont buy Chrysler .im surprised that they haven't gone broke yet they will.
oh and it has a manual in every trim
Typical American passengers vehicle. Bland, cheaply made , underwhelming tech and bad resale value.
Yup, typical. For the best of quality and resale value you gotta get the honda. The American ones fall apart and start sounding like a dying elephant in a couple years.
Alec Smith-Cooper I wouldn't be so sure on that! I work at IIHS and all the tests we do with hondas don't always pass my friend.
dyllman98 They may not pass every test, but they sure do better than Chrysler And change your profile picture. That is immature.
+Alec Smith-Cooper then mr. alec, tell me how come I have had mine going on 18 years, with minimal expense, and no rust, if you look after them they will last.
Alec Smith-Cooper anyone ever tell u to mind your own business that's inmature
Argh.... Another anti-american autobytel review.. bye-bye
