Thank you, Sir! I just pulled the trigger on buying a 2015 Touring that has a couple differences (funny how Canadian and US versions can be different)... I'm taking delivery Wednesday and am more confident in my purchase thanks to this video!!!
Nice. I hope it serves you well. Ours lasted to 156k before a leaky sunroof totaled it. If yours has a sunroof, do make sure it closes properly when not in use, or do like we have decided with our new vehicle and don't use it. I made a final video on this van a few weeks ago, also on the channel
@@ThatCarVlogChannel Great post ! Thank you for the great info. I am looking at a 2015 t&c with 120 kms, or 75,000 miles. It is completely loaded , leather heated steering and 4 seats, power open doors , and yes, sunroof. They are asking $15,000 Canadian, which is about $12,000 American. Sounds like a good deal. I have had caravans since the 80's , complete with rusty tailgates doors, rocker panels, brakes , etc. Are these a bit better?? What do you think of the price point ?
@@jmack619 we've had about as good reliability out of our 2015 as we have past models. Ours made it to 156k before the sunroof leaked and totaled it. I like that price, considering ours was $17k 2 years ago with 92k on it. I put a video out a few weeks ago, if you haven't seen it already, with my final thoughts as well as a couple small things that popped up
@@ThatCarVlogChannel Wow !! That was a terrible end, sorry to hear that. I am a di hard dodge owner, except for a 1969 GTO.. that was a fun ride, as well as 69 charger, 71 charger. They are gon except for memories ! Take care out there. How were the brakes ? replaced a few parts ? Shoes rotors pads ??
@@jmack619 thanks. Sucked, but a new saga has begun with our highlander. I like my dodges but I pretty much like anything that isn't a fiat or modern nissan. As for brakes, ours never needed them in the 2 years we had it, although I did buy a set thinking it did like an idiot instead if inspecting them, so now I have those laying around
I just bought a 2016 grand caravan SXT has alloy wheels NAV dvd as my sibling has a 2013 town & country with 275,000 miles . I like that you can put a full sheet of plywood in the back. They used to have oil leak issue with the oil filter housing/cooler as I did with a 2014 300-S with 3.6 I used to have. Take care of these and they will last. I love the power as well. Be sure to clean area in front of back wheels behind the plastic wheel well liner in lower area as debris builds up in there and causes them to start rusting.
Jus paid 600$ for new oil housing unit🤦🏽♀️ 2911 town n country 209k miles. ANd yes wheel area rust. Our door handle to back sliding door broke off. Back up camera not working anymore. Electric issues sometimes don’t start if cold..we put in new. Battery, alternator, and starter….n still. My husband has loss 2 jobs cus it wouldn’t start. Don’t hav enough Indy yet for new car.
@@ThatCarVlogChannel I'm going to buy one in a couple of weeks they got aftermarket GOODIES,lights and chrome trims but no grills -the 300 grills look like they fit but I not going to try it or rig it...
@javy-81 I hope it works out for ya. Ours was amazing while we had it. I didn't bother to find out what the grill came off of. I always thought it looked pretty good tho
if you have the key in the car and hold the break and stick your pinky all the way in the ignition does it start? i got a little push button adapter so i don't use the keyfob
@@ThatCarVlogChannel do you still have this vehicle? Maybe you should do an updated review? Or for short if you do,how is it holding up? Would you recommend this as a family vehicle and also for 16hr trips?
@Cristal sadly this van was killed my a sunroof leak. Fried the computer and insurance totaled it. Made it to 156k with 0 issues tho. Based on our experience I do recommend it. Just get a pre purchase inspection, and if you do buy be sure to keep up on basic maintenance
I heard some of that too. So far we are at 150k and no issues (knock on wood), this was one of those "it's what we could get into" purchases otherwise I wouldn't have chosen it based on that. But so far can't complain
We never changes it. If it was done before 92k I wouldn't know. It was totaled by insurance 2 years ago after the sunroof leaked during a storm and it fried the computer
So far we are at 150k and only have a very small amount of oil usage, just have to check it maybe once or twice a month, and an occasional catalytic converter code
@@timmyd463229 that's alot less than ours was driving. Wife was using it as a lyft vehicle for a year and a half, otherwise it wouldn't be at 150k yet. I just change the oil and filter every 5k. I hope yours treats you well

It's really not too bad. Obviously it's no super luxury car, but it's also no econo-box. We just took it on a long day trip and it didn't bother anyone
It's very comfortable for what it is. I've done a few 500 mile days in it without feeling too wiped out. Then again I've done 400 miles sitting on the floor of a contractor van 😀

Doing good up to the point of no stow n go. Gotta have it.
I have to agree. If we had had the option at the time...
That is the stow and go seating. You just have to move the driver seat up and you can put the seat in that storage bin as long as it's empty.
This one doesn't have stow n go. I've checked, bins aren't big enough. Middle seats can just be tilted or removed
Very nice review! How many miles do you have on the car?
You add mesh to the grill?
@javy-81 no that grill was there when we got the van
