Pianophonic Module Extended Demo

In this demo we morph from Grand Piano to doom drone and back, then into some house style piano chops. Along they way we incorporate pure Piano wavetables and real hammer samples later combined with synthesiser waveforms as a side layer as we demonstrate the "piano not a piano" and "synth like a piano" duality of Pianophonic. Audio is direct out from the module with a bit of compressor/limiter to prevent overloading RUclips.

It supports midi sustain pedal and has infinite release (drone mode)

Or does the engine respect the MIDI CC for Sustain pedal? That would be just as good, since most MIDI controller keyboards have pedal jacks and convert that signal to MIDI.

@@rdean150 yes some keyboard controllers handle the sustain internally but we also detect sustain message on or off

Recently i bought a poly cinematic , but i had to return it because its midi in did not work with octatrack midi out. A shame. Really fitted me. I guess it happens the same with this pianophonic. Cool modules but a midi problem like this is a HUGE problem.

@@JohnTrasher used the one provided by knobula. In a environment that work with all other gear. And i am not a noob. It is really a pity. I like the knobula modules, but with such a problem with midi, i have no choice but forget them

We finally fixed the Octatrack problem in the new release this week. Octatrack emits very very short notes and this was tripping up the midi parser
