    Buying this to pair with Harmonaig for 3rd/5th/7th and maybe use Synth Tech E340 Cloud Generator or something else for root. Never imagined I could have nice full chords in my modular rig yet here we are. What a time to be alive!

    Which component do you use to create the sidechain at 5:15 minutes?

    • @DivKid
      @DivKid  4 месяца назад +1

      I can't be certain module wise after all this time but I am certain specific modules aren't important to doing it.
      The way I nearly always patch a side chain is to take a copy of the gate that is my kick drum rhythm, trigger an envelope with that, invert the envelope, patch the sound I want to side chain or duck into the input of a VCA, open the VCA with the manual level controls so sound passes at full level, then patch the inverted envelope CV into the VCA CV input and that will reduce the VCA level each time the kick plays. Fine tune the envelope decay time to set the right feel and adjust CV amount in the VCA too.
      Hope that helps.

    The manual says the seven oscillators are split evenly between the two, L & R, channels. This does not sound like mathematics, given that seven is, generally speaking, an odd number. Does anyone know what really happens? What's the difference between the outputs? (I'm afraid I can't read such complex Lissajous curves.)

    Oh, and I thought I’d mention, I really wanted to hit “Like”, but I couldn’t bring myself to dissent those three 6’s giving the appearance of such well balanced harmony. It’d be a shame to dishevel such an eye catching sequence of numerals.. Let this inform you that I indeed do ‘like’ this video!.!
    (I understand it won’t help the algorithm at all, but sometimes we have to stand for the greater good of such things! Besides I’ll just hit “like” upon a future revisit after someone who, not to be bothered with such things, dilligently contributes to the cause as well the discord of this pages ‘like-counter’ status..)..-wow, I’ve bored myself at this point, goodbye.

      Supersaws and super pulses don't scream acid to me.. Single oscillator saw or square was acid (in terms of the original 303).
